Well to be consistent I think simply it's not my job to believe in the heretics, so I'll say what I want on that subject of NASA. It's their job to produce propaganda and that's what they'll do. On that subject I'll elect to believe the Bible over them.

As for whether silence is consent, I don't think so, Jesus was pretty silent for the most part during his sham trial.

And why was he silent? Is it because if he wasn't he would have gotten himself off. Ask yourself what he would have been consenting to in that scenario.

I figure he was silent because he doesn't need anyone to justify himself. Note the few times he did speak. They accused him of being the Son of God and he said "you have said", and so they accused him of blasphemy. The wicked will always be fishing for men's souls in their unbelief just as much as the righteous will always be fishing for men's souls in their strong belief it seems.

He was silent cuz God told him to be. If your arse was on the like that you'd confess to whatever they wanted you too.
 
With regards to whose money is it?

IF we go by the standard I read here........then I must ask if people are OK with their BOSS telling them how to spend their money, and what on...........I mean, it really is his money. You may have worked to receive it, but it was his money when he gave it to you, and it is his money after you get it...........according to the standard I see being spoken of here.

Not everyone who receives Financial Assistance from the Government is unemployed, or just lazy folks sitting on their butts.

So you are saying welfare and a mans wages for his labor are the same!?!? That is complete and total utter nonsense....even for you.

I'd say it's not their bosses' money, once it leaves the hand of the boss it's the worker's money, they worked for it. Way I see it this is more about promises. In this example the worker was promised that money in exchange for their talent or labor. By the contract of employment, it is theirs to spend how they see fit.

The part you glossed over was the fact that the employee EARNED that money. He/she and the boss had an agreement that the employee's time and effort would be exchanged for that money. It was NOT a freeloading thing.

I think being a freeloader must be sad. Not being able to contribute must be devastating.

Well one could say the welfare recipient earned their money too by meeting the qualifications and applying for the welfare. The welfare was promised to them if they meet the qualifications and if they apply for it. Again it is about promises really, the government promised this, and they have to make good on their promise.

To make myself an example; I could easily qualify for welfare, but I do not apply for it. Because I do not apply for it I do not earn or receive welfare.

But, you COULD NOT simply meet the qualifications for employment, and then just sit on your butt, doing nothing to deserve the money....... unless, of course, you are a politician.

Well if you don't meet the qualifications for employment at a particular job then you probably aren't getting hired there and because you aren't getting hired there you probably aren't promised the wage of the position that you applied for, and so you aren't earning that wage.
