Now that's weirder than me.

I have to drink my tea/coffee HOT, when I say hot I mean hot. Anything other is cold.

  • At the start of the music, shape a chicken beak with your hands. Open and close them four times, during the first four beats of the music.
  • Make chicken wings with your arms. Flap your wings four times, during the next four beats of the music.
  • Make a chicken's tail feathers with your arms and hands. Wiggle downwards during the next four beats of the music.
  • Clap four times during the next four beats of the music while rising to your feet.
  • Repeat this process four times.
  • At the bridge, hold your arms straight, in imitation of an aeroplane. All dancers spin around the room in "flight" until the bridge ends.

I think Daniel did have the Holy Spirit in him just like we do, or he'd be tossed about quite a bit between those moments the Spirit was in him and not in him. We read parts of Daniel's life. We wouldn't be reading that much, if God didn't keep him in Spirit 24/7. He had faith in the same thing we have faith in -- the Savior. And we have faith because of God, not because of our sheer brilliance. Faith is something God fills us with, not something we manufacture. In that, I really do think Daniel, and all of the great men of God, were born again, even though it was in someone looked forward to, while we were born in a time when we can say who the Savior is by name.

It doesn't make sense to say that because Jesus said that He would send the Comforter after He left, and that it would be better for Him to leave so that the Holy Spirit could come. Which means that the Holy Spirit didn't start truly residing inside of people until that point, since after one is saved they then become the temple of God.

When I say "truly residing inside of people" I mean that the Holy Spirit is with us always, we are His temple. An Old testament person had the Holy Spirit taken away from him. Others worried about Him being taken away.

1 Samuel 16:13-14 King James Version (KJV)

13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.
14 But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him.

The Holy Spirit doesn't depart from us, He resides inside of us. We are His temple. God will never leave us, nor forsake us. Yet, even David had this worry.


Psalm 51:11King James Version (KJV)

11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

This isn't something we have to worry about, because for us the Holy Spirit is a guarantee.

Ephesians 1:13-14King James Version (KJV)

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

The point of all of this being that while the Holy Spirit did interact with Old Testament saints and people from the OT, they didn't experience Him in the same way we do. In this case being that we, and not them, are His temple and He will never leave us, nor forsake us as He did back then to them. He is with us for good.

I did get what you were referencing. And you do have a traditional view on what it says, however:
1. God is triune, omnipresent, omni (everything), and yet Jesus, who is God, was on Earth in human form. Could it not have been that He had to go back to heaven to allow the Holy Spirit to come, possibly again?

2. Where was the Holy Spirit for Saul before he departed? Side by side, or inside him?

3. And Psalm 51, (one of my favorites), implies the Spirit was already in David. (The notes on the one I'm reading says this: "To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.") David was about as low as David ever got, and yet he declares he has the Holy Spirit in him, and begs God never to take him away from him. Does God? Not that I see. In my mind, Saul was the curse God promised the Israelites if they ever demanded a king. He wasn't saved, as much as he was used by God. David was saved.

4. God hasn't been quiet, ever. Even before he made a nation, the evidence that he has been to other nations is out there. (Jove was Greek for Jehovah. Ja was Chinese -- before Chin even existed -- for Jehovah.)

I don't think he waited for ascending to heaven the last time to bring us the Holy Spirit. I think he's been around forever.
