I have no clue as to why you want to say stuff the way you do.

In all honesty that is just unbelief. You do not know my purity or lack of
it, only what you project. And once you project evil onto another without
evidence that is judgementalism.

So it appears gb9, EG, Utah, wsblind also walk in unbelief.

Purity is not what saves us. Grace through faith does that. :) And how does "one stain" separate us from God? We ALL have sins, or stains, whatever word you prefer. The ONLY thing that separates us from God, is denying Him outright.. All we need do is repent our sins, and we are made stain-less once again. Kind of like jumping in a puddle, getting all muddy, taking a bath and doing it all over again. LOL.. No matter how many times we get stained, God's forgiveness cleans us up.. :) jmo
I do not get how people can not see that in front of God totally naked (themselves) there is no purity. only 1 % impurity makes the cup totally impure and undrinkable..

No one would deny, you fill a cup, 1/2 pure filtered perfect water, and 1/2 urine and give it to someone, they are not going to take it.. What people like peter do not understand, even if you have a cup filled 99% of pure filtered perfect water, and take the 1 percent and fill it with urine then give it someone, it just just as disgusting as the one with 50 % (Of course someone who does not know, can be fulled to drink the impure water because it does not look as bad on the outside)

yet these people think they can go to God with their 99% (What they think they actually have) and give it to God, and God will say, yes, ok, I see your purity, come and enter in.

News flash for them, God sees all. He will REJECT your 99% (which is not really 99% just in their head) and say, depart from me..

*Ahem*.. Peter, read the highlighted portion of Utah's post, and get some perspective.. As far as Utah being confrontational, well, there are ALOT of members here more confrontational than he is. I think a better word for him is "passionate". :) Utah is passionate about God, and spreading His truth, and he doesn't like seeing God's truth get twisted around the way it does on here on a daily basis.

That's the smartest thing you may have ever said, and yet, once again, you missed the entire point of my post. I didn't post that to show I'm trying to score points and earn my salvation, I wrote it because you believe a few of us here don't have faith in Christ, which shows how utterly ignorant and self righteous you are; so much so that its astonishing.
Utah - I wish I could hug you, and say God bless you.

I have no clue as to why you want to say stuff the way you do.
Does it help you? Is this how you minister to the elderly people in the care home?
I am sure they agree with everything you say, because to not agree would certainly be a place
they do not want to go.

And I know you have faith in Christ, gone to theological college, are astute and able to share
much, yet when it comes to walking in purity, a big question mark.

It not just ruffles your feathers, it makes you angry. So if the Lord points out areas of your life
He desires you work on, is this the reaction you give him? Unfortunately I would suggest it is
simply because how full frontal you became. Even confrontational. If we were face to face,
it would be total aggression. So I know what you meant, but praise God, I am thousands of
miles away, and I can talk about God calling us to purity, and you cannot burn me on a stake
as a hypocrite.

But does not this whole emotional cycle not bother you. It is so far away from the Holiness
and presence of the Spirit you could get. But then why am I trying to communicate with you
on this level, because you will probably just attempt to chew me up again.

If you were clued up, you would understand if one word creates a massive response it means
something in your life is out of order, is wounded and sore, needs addressing.

God bless you, wherever God may find you, Peter

Peter, who are you to judge whether anyone here walks in unbelief, or doesn't have faith? YOU are not omniscient! You are not God, so stop judging these guys and stop playing God's role..

No one denies this.....the thread is about the faithful men of the bible and how they still had sins to confess after salvation....the same is true of us....a lifestyle of sin is not the same as one who occasionally fails in a moment of weakness........

Thats true, and God promises.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1John 1:9

Let it be known, if I say God calls us to be pure, am I saying I am pure, or am
I saying God has called us to be pure?

Now if I was sharing this reality, surely firstly I would start dealing with my own
life. Now after a full frontal assault to say I am a hypocrite and those around me
would say I am lying, which failed, because this is not true, I am just saying that
I have found Gods word to be true.

Now I do not know where others stand, unless they start saying being pure is
wrong and evil, and we do not need to be pure, that is a false suggestion.

I might get the clue that others discount themselves and believe I knew this
and so was putting them down and exalting myself. The truth is I am sharing
my testimony and understanding of the Lord. If the Lord convicts you as a
result, it is not because of me doing the conviction, this is how God works.

I do not know how to be sanctimonious, I only know how to follow the King.

I know how you guys would respond to Paul, because I am quoting him.
And Paul would say to me, do not let people talk down to you because of the
Holy pure life you are living, but set the example before God and men.

Or maybe that part of scripture is censored in your bibles.

If someone says they do not have to be pure before God, they are walking in
unbelief in Gods word.

This is what I said and meant. It is not my fault that people use the term unbelief
to mean not saved. I did post exactly this, but probably people missed it.

So I am not playing God nor do I try. Being a dartboard is an interesting experience,
but hey, it comes with the territory.

I haven't seen anywhere where people have said that having unbelief means that a person is unsaved, nor am I reading through 40 pages to check..However, I HAVE seen your quote where you stated that gb9, wsblind, Utah and others are walking in unbelief.. What I'm saying is, that is NOT for YOU to decide whether they are or not. Only God can decide that..

Oh, blue, thank you for putting me right.

It is so evil to suggest we should walk with pure hearts before the Lord.

If you want to create a real testimony before the King carry on.
I have wondered how Christ died doing nothing but blessing people, but now
I know how. It is the religious guys who get so angry they will kill people who
speak the wrong words in the wrong way. Dangerous folk.

Amen...wisdom is justified of her children for sure.......

On a side note....was in VStock yesterday in St. Louis....had a convo with a preacher of a particular flavor.....he told me he gets a lot of his sermons out of books written by men.....and I said....what about the bible....and he said....oh I pray ever morning for about 1o minutes, but most of my messages come from books I read (he was in the Christian fiction section)

The epitome of what fills the pulpits today is so called Christian churches (obviously not ALL) but many for sure.........

Peter, Peter, Peter.. *sigh* It's not evil to suggest that we walk blameless before the Lord. The bible says nothing about walking in purity before the Lord, but it says to walk blameless. God's blood purifies us when we are saved. Having unbelief from time to time is human nature, it happens even to the strongest of Christians. What IS evil, is suggesting that some of the people here aren't saved because they have unbelief..

My right pastor teacher lives 1500 miles away. And we study over the internet.

We looked long and hard for a doctrinal church to go sit in......couldn't find one around here.

Hmmm would this statement fall under once saved and once saved again, it does seem that way.

I mean to be saved is one thing but to made pure surley that comes on the day of redemption.... and surely when you are made the polished jewel on that day surely you must come close to being the finished work of christ.?

or am i totaly lost again because the way im seeing this is truth always comes to mind with comman sence where as bad doctrins just have muddled up no sence
