there are things in the natural world that can be used as metaphors for our spiritual journey. Jesus used them. One that I like is the greyhound racing dog. If he catches the rabbit he will never race again. He becomes someone's pet or is destroyed. His usefulness as a racing dog is over rover.
AMEN to that brother.........is that not a trip...how the grey hound will be done if it catches the rabbit......

AMEN....I compared us to an ant the other day.....or an amoeba in a dish under a microscope with God looking down at us....how can the finite understand the infinite.....impossible unless the infinite gives understanding to the finite...

God is not in a box for sure.....
This caught my eye logging in--
Don't fall into that trap of us as human beings being insignificant to a loving Creator. That is a trap of the enemies of God-- to try to get us to believe that we are not significant. Nothing could be further from the truth. The enemies of God, try to get us to believe that we are not significant, because of the awesome power given to human beings because we are "treasures in earthen vessels," as Paul said, and Jesus: "My strength (power) is perfected (made real) through human weakness." Both Paul and Jesus said, and demonstrated, that it is because of being "flesh and blood," that God's power can be made real in this world. The very words and flesh that the demons try to get us to despise or the "anti-human" spirit, which is really and "anti-Christ" spirit, are the very words that so powerfully, and completely destroyed their power and defeated them. So...
Let's take care not to dishonor the presence of God within His Temple of believers, by thinking we are like "ants," to God.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
If we are so insignificant, why did the Creator of the Universe become One of us?
If we are so insignificant, why are the fallen angels so obsessed with destroying human beings, or controlling us, or getting us to "believe" we do not have power and authority over them in the Name (sovereignty/power) of JESUS.
Connecting with God's power by believing in it, is what the enemies of God fear the most.

Numerous scriptures prove that salvation, eternal life and son ship are a current possession...I will not argue this point with you..

Other members have shown you that it is a current possession....

The only thing lacking is the glorified body....the bible states....RIGHT NOW ARE We THE SONS OF GOD......

BY GRACE ARE YOU SAVED THROUGH FAITH<---not BEING SAVED

HE THAT BELIEVETH ON THE SON HAS/HATH EVERLASTING LIFE<--not WILL have

SO.....keep believing you are not saved.....I will keep believing the word that I AM SAVED and even verb TENSE proves it is a current possession......geesh......!
i could give up faith and not believe Jesus tomorrow. not that i have but family member have and now dont.. I suppose next youll tell me they never really believed in the first place and so God never saved them... he knew ?..

Ok next many have truly believed (saved) lost someone and not believed...

Now are you going to be the judge on this one and tell me that they recieved salvation befor this happened ?.... because surely being saved in this accaison is diffrent to salvation..

Or are you going to tell me that no one could ever be saved lose some one they love and then fall out with God..

Are you going to tell me that no one in this world could give in to temptation once there saved...

you make such a good job of claiming that sinless perfectionist are not saved but you are..... are you glad your not like them ?

You missed the whole point......and if you knew me or what I believe you would know that I know and have stood for the fact that we are the crowing event of creation made in the very image of God.....

geesh!

The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. Luke 16:16

And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent. Luke 4:43

And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. Luke 9:2

And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing. Luke 9:11

Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. Luke 9:60

And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Luke 9:62

But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Luke 12:31

And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God. Luke 14:15

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:21

What do you think they preached, preaching the Kingdom of God? Looks like thats what Jesus preached and told followers to preach. It doesn't seem if someone asked Jesus about sin in his or her life. His reply wouldn't be, oh its ok you are only human, you all are sinners. Maybe when they preached the Kingdom of God, they spoke of things that wouldn't be entering as well.

Has he said that sinless perfectionists are not saved?

You obviously believe he has.

If so can quote the post he has quoted this.

Right?!?! What's to chase when you've caught what you're chasing? People who think they've caught God have nothing to chase but their tails.

John who was an apostle/disciple and follower of Jesus--->If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.

Paul who was an apostle/disciple and follower of Jesus--->For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.

There is a balance.....and we cannot alleviate what was taught by the men inspired to give the word....

No one is sinless. And no one is a perfectionist. Therefore sinless perfectionists cannot be saved, because they are neither sinless or perfect.. JMO :)

[SUP]12 [/SUP]And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Revelation 20:12

[SUP]7 [/SUP]He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Revelation 21:7-8

[SUP]10 [/SUP]And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Revelation 22:10-16

Can you bring some clarity to Jimbo?
What is to clarify......there is one gospel......not two, three or ten......the bible states that If you believe your are saved...it also states that if you mix faith and works for salvation it is a gospel of a different kind that has no power to save and double cursed....

Someone who claims to be sinless-->if they are saved or not is between the Lord and them....I can judge a doctrine based upon the word, but salvation is between the Lord and each and every man.....

Salvation is up to the Lord and only he can see and judge motive and the hearts of men.....

Having said that....MY OP stands...MOST sinless perfectionists believe a thru c as originally posted.....the rest is up to God!
