In any event, I would caution all of us to be very careful with putting Christ first and foremost ... and attributing all credit to God in Jesus Christ for all things. He is the way, the truth and the life.
Thank you for your insight.
May I share a little about my thinking. All children get hurt inside without exception.
All children hide and protect themselves using different strategies.
The more disfunctional the family the more this hiding causes love and need to be
buried deeper.
There is so much evidence of this in studies and ones own life it can almost be a taken.
Gods message to mankind is communion with Him is how we have life and live eternally.
We can not live eternally separate from Him with the knowledge of good and evil because
it will corrupt us and destroy us.
The bridge to bring us back into communion is the cross and Christ. But this only works
if people open up their hearts, and emotions and who they are becomes real and not
repressed. This is walking in the light.
Now after understanding all this, is there anything else to original sin or why we sin and
do not love openly? Theologically it appears not except for people finding purity so
insoluble.
So my friend I know this is revolutionary observations which I have been cautious about
progressing. And the key to it all is Christ, and the cross, love up close and personal,
unmistakable. And the final irony. To walk with Christ is to bear the pain but not hidden
and protected, but openly and knowing it hurts but accepting it as a privilege of sharing
in Christs sufferings for others. To me that is a stunning insight, only recently gained.
