Let me take a simple idea

An evil people who sin continuously are about to fall under the judgement of God.

A prophet is told to go and preach unless they repent they will be judged.
He goes preaches this and they repent in sackcloth and ashes. Jonah.

God does not bring judgement

Now a people who openly confess they sin daily but claim they have an
exemption ticket are due to be judged. Oh rises up the claim, we got this
get out of jail free card, so it does not matter what we do, we are forgiven.

Now why should God forgive the first group and not judge the second group
because truly sinners deserve judgement.

But a group of lunatics say God does not care about sin, they are the chosen.
AD 70 the chosen were slaughtered and the temple destroyed.

The same fate awaits anyone who continually sins and expects Gods grace
ignores this behaviour.

It all hangs on Jesus is the friend of sinning sinners, so they are saved if they
claim to be his friend.

But Jesus said this

You are my friends if you do what I command.
John 15:14

So the question is do you believe Jesus or the excuse theology?
I go with Jesus because He is my Lord.

Who is proclaiming Jesus and His love?
Those who preach Christ Crucified, WHo teach "it is finished" in Christ, Who teach that in Christ we can stop working, and start to be worked ON!, and who preach in Christ, he has perfected FOREVER, those he is in the process every day of sanctifying. WHo teach that Gods love is not earned, but unconditional based on his love for us, NOT based on anything we have, are, or may do in the future.

Anything else is teaching AGAINST the love of Christ.

right. Does the patient tell the doctor how to perform his heart surgery? Peters arteries are all gummed up with the doctrines of men.

The greatest of these is love

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.

For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

1 Cor 13:4-13

Put on love for we fulfill everything in Christ through love.

Paul cannot stop emphasising love and Christs love over flowing from our hearts in Christ.

To which I say Amen.

A wise observation - Read the word of God and study it well.

You will find what some call the doctrines of God, the doctrines of men.

This is a fundamental difference. It means they are liars and deceivers, taking
away from Gods revelation.

And if you want to be made into a fool, follow this road, thinking you have found
Christ while sinking deeper into the morass of the enemy.

Now there is a spiritual divide in this world, and only the saved stand on one side,
while the others are lost for one reason or another. So if you desire to know love
and freedom, to be free from sin and walk in life listen to Christ and read His word.

Many deceived people will come, but all have an agenda other than those of the
Kingdom, and wherever God is moving, it will be obvious to those with a clear
heart and conscience. I have found it here on cc as I have everywhere in the
church. Just be wise as snakes and as innocent as doves.

When's the last time you sinned?
about a month ago when i lost my focus, and actually started to listen to the voice of the past, and agree with it rather than stay in truth.

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
Gal 5:13

For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Gal 5:14

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Eph 4:2

Now about your love for one another we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other.

How can you tell a person who is learning the law of love?

they puffs his or herself up less. and God up more. He does not tell people how good, holy and righteous he is, He praises God for how good holy and righteous God is. He does not boast of self righteousness, He boasts Of Gods righteousness. He does not judge others (even Christ did not come to judge, he came to save) but he preaches salvation to others. He will preach very little on sin (for all have sinned, so no one can cast stones) and teach alot on forgiveness. He will have a grateful heart not a judgmental heart.

A person who understands love puts the needs of others above their own. Will lay his or her life down for them, Will forgive them even when they do not ask to be forgiven, and will speak into their lives even when it is painful to do so, not ignore or not speak of painful things because they may hurt someones feeling.

Love is kind, it does not seek self.. Anyone who continually boasts of how pure they are, how righteous they are, How they do not sin, does not understand love they love self to much, so can not focus on others.

I hope that thru all the noise in this thread that this one is seen by someone seeking God. I hope that the words Peter has spoken in this thread become static background noise behind the truth of this post. That just because we are Christians we don't think ourselves above those who have not heard the truth and we welcome you to cross the threshold of faith and step into the grace and forgiveness of Jesus. Nothing you have done in your life is beyond the reach of Jesus' forgiveness

I am perplexed about you

Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good.
What they want is to alienate you from us, so that you may have zeal for them.
It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always, not just when I am with you.
My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you,
how I wish I could be with you now and change my tone, because I am perplexed about you!

Gal 4:17-20

Paul is caring for the people in Galatia.
Walking with Christ is simple, it is an encounter with God and truth,
a cleansing and then walking in the light.

The whole difference between darkness and light, is the light brings
everything into the light.

You know people are preaching darkness when they refuse to expose
and confront acts of darkness, and actually preach shinning the light
on sinful behaviour is evil.

The problem today is life is no longer brutal and we have so many
indulgences, hobbies, recreational time, food, ease. You could almost
forget there are struggles anywhere.

In this society it is best to just keep people happy and preach peace
and success, while ignoring things falling apart because of a lack of
honesty and love. And the answer to shining the light, speaking the
truth, you are causing splits, being judgmental, being inspired by evil.

So just beware, we are people of the light and openness, that is who
we are and how we walk.

Yes. We want to expose you for what your doctrines are. An insidious form of spiritual abuse that clothes itself in light. That steals hope from people by placing unrealistic and abusive expectations on them. It's end game is power and prestige for those who advance it. Good job Peter...Satan thanks you for your service to him.

Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38

For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Col 1:13-14

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.
Heb 4:15

He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

I think some of these people need to loook to the OT. DO you see David puffing himself up of his purity, or judging those apposed to him? No. He prayed for his son who tried to have him killed. and took many of his wives., He prayed for his king Saul He even has the man who killed him executed for killing the lords anointed. In all his psalms, you see praises to god. Confessing his sins, Honor to God, humility for himself..

How about Daniel. We are never told of one sin Daniel committed. Yet did daniel boast? Did daniel puff himself up and tell his sinful nation how they need to be like him, judge them of their sins. No. He confessed his own sins, with his nations sind and prayed for Gods mercy and forgiveness to all of them.

It is one thing to talk about what love is, and how it should be done,, It is a far other thing to actually live it..

When are you actually going to believe this peter?

I can say this all day long, but if what I say after I make these statments does not add up to them,, then my words are useless.

You preach forgiveness and redemption and all this, but them demand we must do it ourselves of our own power?

You post passages which support the gospel of grace in Christ alone through faith alone, then reject them which is it?

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Cor 15:57

A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory.
Matt 12:20

“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
1 Cor 15:55

For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
1 John 5:4

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.
1 John 2:15

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
1 John 4:9

How is it that if we seek salvation through Christ, and walk with Christ
and follow Him, we can become His enemy?

Something has gone very wrong in some peoples faith and understanding
finding their emotions making enemies of brothers and sisters in Christ.

Being called of satan is a privilege because in my experience this is the insult
Christ had to face. Even Paul did not accuse false teachers to be so inspired.

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
1 Tim 4:1-5

Now I have been sharing about letting Jesus into our hearts, letting Him
heal our hurts, fill us full of love, walk in righteousness and victory,
forgive from the heart, repent and confess our sins, praise and worship.

Now these are all themes of God not demons.
So if I am satan or inspired by satan to share these things, then it means
the names are just the wrong way round, and I am sharing Gods word,
and the accusers are sharing from the enemy.

Funny how shinning a light on darkness makes it flee away.

One month is extraordinary; praise God. I'm still trying to make it through one day, and being sick in bed doesn't count.
