Ok, this was in response to 30hellooo's statement that he thinks sasquatch are demons in a different thread. This isn't an attack, just an exploration of this question.
As I stated in the UFO's thread, I think that the space alien culture is demonically influenced, but does the same apply to Bigfoot.
I say no. I believe Bigfoot exists and resides in the millions of acres of virgin wilderness in Northern California, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Canada. Evidence for Bigfoot is far stronger than for Martians.
Whether it be Bigfoot, Sasquatch (Indian name), the Abominable Snowman (In Napal, China), the Boggy Creek monster, Yeti, Wild Man, Skoocoom, Booger, Windigo, or others, these creatures have been seen on nearly every continent and descriptions are strikingly similar. They are bipedal, covered in long hair, have a distingushed ridge above their eyes and have disproportionately long arms. They are known to eat berries as well as animals and livestock. Their presence is often preceded by a nasty stench and they can be heard at night by shrill whistling or by a wailing scream...unnervingly sounding like a woman! Bigfoot is very shy and tends to avoid contact with humans, preferring stretches of forest miles from any road or structure. It has a long stride and its gate can cut through even the most forbidding forest like a hot knife through butter.
So who sees Bigfoot? Experienced woodsmen, hunters, people from all walks of life. Striking descriptions preclude the possibility of the creature being an ape or a bear, and rare indeed is the hunter who cannot identify animals on sight. The Patterson film is still debated to this day and I don't include it as strong evidence to support my belief.
There were even some enounters that could not be written off, such as Bluff Creek in California and the cabin attack near Mount Saint Helen's. With multiple witnesses and a mountain of evidence, footprints, feces, sightings, etc, one almost doesn't need a body to prove Bigfoot's existence conclusively.
