I simply observe that which I think is grossly out of line with God. I just think if we see such things we should expose it rather than allow it to become poisonous, and create a toxic environment. That is rising above it. If we are to glorify God, we are not to sit by and see evil, and do nothing about it.

And neither do I believe in casting people out, because this is what many do. We can simply expose the evil that overcomes people, so that they may or may not see it, and then there is hope that they can come back to God - in humility. I wouldn't expect any of them to say, yes, I said this and that was wrong and I am sorry - but only that they may think more deeply in future so that such things do not overcome them.

Hey mate well noticed he completely defiles the word of God everyday,,, and the so called brothers support it,,, i mean if there trying to save him when do you say i need out,, because you cant save someone who doesnt want to be saved... he has to do that for himself...

Mate the best way to deal witht he likes of sirk is to just accept that he lost and dont let his words offend rather see a light for him.

Try to rise above it,,, i think eternaly grateful sufferes with the same resentment just how long must we all secome to this file bitter attitude for the total lack of respect..:(

Where religion goes of the rails is when people like Larry curly and moe talk about other people's sin and their own goodness. If you can't see the jacked up godless attitude that that is then I can't help you.

Let me take a simple idea

An evil people who sin continuously are about to fall under the judgement of God.

A prophet is told to go and preach unless they repent they will be judged.
He goes preaches this and they repent in sackcloth and ashes. Jonah.

God does not bring judgement

Now a people who openly confess they sin daily but claim they have an
exemption ticket are due to be judged. Oh rises up the claim, we got this
get out of jail free card, so it does not matter what we do, we are forgiven.

Now why should God forgive the first group and not judge the second group
because truly sinners deserve judgement.

But a group of lunatics say God does not care about sin, they are the chosen.
AD 70 the chosen were slaughtered and the temple destroyed.

The same fate awaits anyone who continually sins and expects Gods grace
ignores this behaviour.

It all hangs on Jesus is the friend of sinning sinners, so they are saved if they
claim to be his friend.

But Jesus said this

You are my friends if you do what I command.
John 15:14

So the question is do you believe Jesus or the excuse theology?
I go with Jesus because He is my Lord.
Yep great point peter... not only they take salvation for granted they assume that sin is ok and i can be forgiven for my future sins,,, meaning i really do want to that wild time with a sexy lady..or they really do want that fix...

Or they really do want to thrash the speed limit..
Or they really do want to drink and drive..
Must i go on

No, I really do not think you should go on about how our sins can no longer be forgiven once we come to Christ.

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
Gal 5:13

For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Gal 5:14

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Eph 4:2

Now about your love for one another we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other.
1 The 4:9
Lol obvioulsy theres no love lost from some right...It doesnt matter how much you rebuke those in denial when theyve reached the point of no return..i mean it must be getting close to that right.

It sounds like you have had some bad experiences in the past and that's ok. So what are the good experiences that you have had, from the people you look up to? It never really helps to look down on and focus on what you don't like, based on past experience. Because when you do that, often you might get the wrong end of the stick with people. What really matters is peoples intentions. No matter what words come out of us, our intentions in each other can be hard to decipher, and we can never assume.

This a very confusing post. It seems that when people say lots of words it gets that way. What does the Bible say: the more words the less the meaning? Something along those lines. What I see here is the same thing I see in churches. Self righteous people with their Christianese language they speak so fluently as the empty rhetoric that it is. Quoting bible verses to bolster their wicked hearts. Anyway, no wasblind was not banned, he just got a new account. Maybe you should at least try to live up to your own standard. But you can't, neither can bubble boy, and neither can jimbobbillybob45thousand.

So this is what you're accusing people of in this thread? Thumbing their noses at God? Without having any personal knowledge about them or their lives?

There is forgiving over and over while doing nothing, and there is forgiving and speaking up. If something is in need of forgiveness, because it comes from a bad place, then we can also do something about that bad place. :)

Evil is always trying to influence people to change and become more dark and twisted, and if left to fester can do great damage - spiritually to others too. But with the power of God, and God is Love, which is far greater and more powerful than evil or the devil will ever be, we can also influence change in each other that we can become more light hearted and kind.

I never said anything of the sought i know one can be forgiven...but one does not have to keep on forgiving the same hateful attitude of so called brothers....

And it looks like those who are working for a future salvation would reject it also. And if one stops and thinks about, it is the exact same thing as someone who thinks they can lose salvation.

If a person believes that salvation can be lost, they are saying the exact same thing as a person who says ," We aren't really saved until the end."

There is nothing new under the sun. He just words loss of salvation a bit different. A person who believes salvation can be lost, has their fingers crossed just like the guy who crosses his fingers to get saved at the end.

But you and I both know, they KNOW they will make it........but everybody else is questionable.
na mate your called to run your own race and help those who not are running the race for the lord..

I have never once said you can lose salvation i just dont believe you recieve it befor the day of redemtion... what is so hard to understand my mentality that you cant lose something that hasne been given yet............meaning if you sin you can be saved at the end..

Now if you recieve salvation the polished jewel you have been made pure and will no longer sin.. cause the way i see it once the soul has been purified and gone to heaven then that is salvation,,,,,nothing less comes close...

The bible clearlyy states the soul that sins will die... thats why satan is on his way to hell for eternity because he is spirit,, a soul...

There you have it in a nutshell once salvation has been recieved you cant sin or else your out.. but in his kingdom...

Now where not in his kingdom so while we all have once breath left we have every chance of recieving salvation...

yes if they unwillingly, sin ,, but if its a child of God who deliberetely sins to please satan then i very much doubt that they will do it less than seventy seven times,,, theres a good chance theyve passed over to the dark side.... we have all sorts of evil acts from people of the church...

such as pedo priests... priests supporting gay marriage where in the last days where people abadon there faith... is this clear enough for you not to insult my intelligence..

This isn't about me. This is about whether or not people believe that Jesus is enough...or if there is extra stuff they gotta do to earn salvation.

Rebuke? Who is rebuking? Peter?

All peter does is promote himself and tell everyone how righteous and holy he is..

You can't rebuke people until you first rebuke yourself.. And he is far from it.

Jesus said you did..

There you go, excusing your won sin, yet you want to judge others?
