It sounds like you have had some bad experiences in the past and that's ok. So what are the good experiences that you have had, from the people you look up to? It never really helps to look down on and focus on what you don't like, based on past experience. Because when you do that, often you might get the wrong end of the stick with people. What really matters is peoples intentions. No matter what words come out of us, our intentions in each other can be hard to decipher, and we can never assume.
When your child is acting out trying to get your attention...Even that has a good intention behind it. Doesn't make it right it Gods eyes.

This isn't about me. This is about whether or not people believe that Jesus is enough...or if there is extra stuff they gotta do to earn salvation.
AMen, it is about the gospel..

There ate two gospels being taught here, One is not right.. They both will not get people to heaven..

We are not talking about non salvic issues here, we are talking about eternal life.. or eternal death.

It is not a joking matter,, Peoples eternity are at stake here.

I simply observe that which I think is grossly out of line with God. I just think if we see such things we should expose it rather than allow it to become poisonous, and create a toxic environment. That is rising above it. If we are to glorify God, we are not to sit by and see evil, and do nothing about it.

And neither do I believe in casting people out, because this is what many do. We can simply expose the evil that overcomes people, so that they may or may not see it, and then there is hope that they can come back to God - in humility. I wouldn't expect any of them to say, yes, I said this and that was wrong and I am sorry - but only that they may think more deeply in future so that such things do not overcome them.
We do have to be carful tho because some are truly lost,,, but we have to face reality that some need a swift sword to correct to whilst you make an effort to correct in love and kind words,,, like peter has done many times which is why im favoring him now over the dark destroyers at war here...

Are they at fault or is there doctrin,,, its hard to workout on a website,,, i mean they might just be nice people but sitting in front of your pc all day cussing cant be of God surely...

yes if they unwillingly, sin ,, but if its a child of God who deliberetely sins to please satan then i very much doubt that they will do it less than seventy seven times,,, theres a good chance theyve passed over to the dark side.... we have all sorts of evil acts from people of the church...

such as pedo priests... priests supporting gay marriage where in the last days where people abadon there faith... is this clear enough for you not to insult my intelligence..
I don't think you get to plead ignorance before God. I know you don't in a human court when you've broken the law.

If the gospel is different than your doctrine you're in big trouble. What it looks like to me is that and Peter Pan have written your own amendments to it.

Hope and faith in what? In your good works to save you? Looks like idol worship to me.

Not a full two years. His last thread was from August of 2015, much closer to a year and a half ago.
Whyd he get banned anyway? Was it because he was pushing a works based salvation? Was it because he claimed to be sinless?

ok dude, Prove your accusation.. Show where one person said it is ok to sin? I get sick of this nonsense.
well i dont know where your comeing from... is ok to ask for clarity when you say your future sins will be forgiven..

Is it ok to ask you if your planning on commiting a sin...

Is ok to test your spirit... ?

I quite often find that those who become offended by pointing out a point about why some ask if there future sins can be forgiven for a sin there palning on doing,,, are the ones with the wrong motives...

So why are you offended if you not planning on sinning,,, you never made that point clear in you future sins are forgiven thread..

you never stated that you where talking about sins you dont know you will commit... you never... all you said is my future sins will be forgiven..

so please tell me in a public forum where nonesence is being spoke am not allowed to understand what you mean...?

and if you become offended by that,,,,, do you have some motive that isnt quite right ?

Just because you say it doesn't make it true. How am I mocking the truth of the gospel? Can you explain it?

There is one gospel and that the gospel of Jesus.

This is what I don't quite get. And it's not directed to you per se but is a general attitude to other things as well.

You mention two Gospels of which both cannot be right and only the correct one will get people into heaven.

This post is about denying sin, and responses have been quite heated and to be honest at times disrespectul and unloving in responses. Are future sins forgiven if you believe they are then that's not the gospel, if you believe they are not then that's not the gospel.

So whichever one you believe in if it's wrong you won't be in heaven and neither will those who follow your wrong gospel.

To me when we do that then we are judging whether a person is saved or not.
Thats not up us it's up to God. He is the ultimate judge.

We could take it beyond this post, does baptism save or not, should I eat this or not, do I observe the sabbath, should I tithe and so on. Yes or no to all of these can be differnt Gospels.

The truth is that all off us could use bible verses to support where we stand. If we have studied the scripture correctly as we see it we can still disagree. My textual criticism may be different from yours (not you EG specifically but for everyone)

As genuine believers who interact with each other we all have one purpose.

1 Corinthians 3:11
For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

and the truth is the following (well to me anyway)

1 Corinthians 3:12-15
Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

We will all stand before God one day, he will judge every word we have said or not said, every action taken and not taken.
Has everything we have said and done been with love, have we loved our brothers, been like Jesus and encouraging others to seek Jesus. Coming alongside the lost and just loving then with the pure unadulterated love that Jesus had when he died on the cross.

Just my simple thoughts.

This is a really great post. One question I have is: did Jesus consider the pharisees his "brothers"? Was he heated with them when he spoke to them? Did he use embarrassing adjectives to describe them?

The thing is, I don't consider someone who is saying that their good works will save them and telling others they must be sinless my "brother". I consider them to be just like the pharisees in Jesus day....and I will use whatever means at my disposal to expose them.
