I have not finished chapter four of 1984. I'm falling behind
I also did try listening to the audio version of the shack but could not get into it. It did not help that the narrator was a guy and started with the forward, and so I had no idea when the first chapter started or if I even got that far haha. I did listen for quite a few minutes, and then skipped forward a few times... audio version may simply not be my cup of tea. I have never done it before, either.

Me too. I only posted that Audio Book because I know some people will rarely even open an actual bound book, and prefer being read to.

Gabriel Syme was the main character of Chesterton's The Man Who Was Thursday.
Orwell was supposedly fond of Chesterton. When I have a week or so to read in June, I'll have to read 1984 for more Chestertonian Easter Eggs.
