Why would God let evil doers who cannot stop doing evil

on His new earth? They would just do evil on the new earth would they not?

If he gave them a new body and a new life...

would they not still do evil?

You tell me?

What do you believe?

I am saying if he is then he contradicted himself by saying this...

1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God.

1 John 5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;
but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself,
and that wicked one toucheth him not.
It is blatantly evident that we all still sin, which must mean that we are NOT YET born of God....seeing GOD can not lie ! therefore it is something WE are not perfected in ! yet people/christians insist they are born of God.
The problem here is the difference between 'born again and begotten', two different stages we must go through.

Of course they would, people need to be 'converted in the MIND/spirit in order to be a new person, a new Creation, a new Creature....physical appearence won't cut it. Eph 4v23..

There is not going to be any sin on the new earth.

Do you believe God is going to let a soul on there that is going to commit sin?

Especially after all He has been through here with His first creation?

Do any of you believe He will?
Why don't we just go to scripture to find the truth ? there is no need to argue and disagree Rev 21(v27). (sorry, I have not read all the posts so it may have been mentioned)

Scripture tells us it is those who have been CONVERTED.

Anything a human being
born of God does, will not be sin.

Just like anything that God does , will not be sin.

For example....Jesus is a human being born of God.
Nothing he did was sin.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ,
he is a new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new.

All their past was gone.
Their past sins were as they had never sin.
For they have all been washed away by the blood of the Lamb of God.
For as a new creature a new beginning they were now sinless.

And born of God.

As it is written...

1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God.

1 John 5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;
but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself,
and that wicked one toucheth him not.

1 john 1v 8

If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.

If we say we have no sin (before we become a new creature)we deceive
ourselves and the truth is not in us.

If we claim we are born of God and commit sin,
we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.

1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God.

1 John 5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;
but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself,
and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Jesus was born of God. therefore he sinneth not.
Jesus was begotten of God therefore he kept himself
that the wicked one toucheth him not.

This is idiotic.... Im not Jesus. Jesus is superior to me because he is perfect unlike me. Which means that given i live in a fallen world there have been and maybe will be times where i will sin wether by doing something i shouldnt or not doing something i should be doing. There are sins that i am unaware of and i am sure God would be able to find sins that i committed in one day that i never thought were there. John is saying not to sin. If you do thats bad but we have a mediator who is perfect and just. If we make a HABIT of sinning then thats worse, and he says someone is not born of God. Not that if we sin we arent born of God. If we make a habit of it then yes but if we sin we confess it before God.

There is only one truth. I always agree with it.

Do you believe these verses teach sinless perfection and do you claim to live a sinless, without fault or defect, flawless, absolute perfect life (exactly as Jesus lived) 100% of the time?

I think in your zeal you missed one:

1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
More than one.....more like about 50............

If we say that we have no sin we are deceived and the truth is not in us..

Many reject that it is the spirit that is born again an fits this bill in 1st John while being bound in a fallen body of sin that is not subject unto the word and will of God....

The SPIRITis indeed willing, BUT the FLESH IS WEAK!

Other Bible translations have translated this as "continue to sin". The idea is the their lives would not be characterized by sin. The idea that there is anyone that does not sin foolish and dangerous. It is not what the bible teaches. Sinless perfection is a distortion of the truth. No one is perfect but God alone.

Amen! The NASB says - No one who is born of God "practices" sin (1 John 3:9). The idea of "practice" is to perform repeatedly or habitually and thus describes repetition or continuous action. The present tense describes the practice as habitual, as one's lifestyle or bent of life.

The devil has deceived people in many ways and with many false doctrines, and the heresy of sinless perfection in the flesh is one of them.

1 John 1:8 - "If we say that we have no sin, (PRESENT TENSE) we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, (PAST TENSE) we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."

Born by water and Spirit or CONVERTED?
The Bible also tells us we must be converted which describes the 'growing-process of the 'spirit-begotten Person. It's a fact we can not be instantly born upon hearing the Word of God Eph 1v13,14. but receive eternal life as a 'downpayment/deposit or promise....until we are fully redeemed....when ? see next post.
