Marriage is a sort of...showing of Gods' glory in all that He has made. All that He created has a shadow of His glory. Marriage, the sacrament of the church, is a picture of true and eternal marriage with our Lord where we become one.
I would be interested in the verses that state that marriage is a sacrament of the church....and regardless....comparing marriage to the sealing of the Holy spirit in salvation is about as far of a stretch as one can make...and still falls short of truth.....
I understood what Bill said and appreciated him sharing it, but also I think you are right that hypocrisy is a bigger problem with us. Bills heart was acting the way its supposed to act after God circumcises it, but in our organized churches, yes, hypocrisy and religiosity and no growth in fruit are the bigger problems.

I will say God bless and hope to see you there one day... but i can not stay around this hate for much longer i will be not be writing to you for much longer and i will have to permantly put you on ignor,, because i dont want to fall out over doctrinal issues... but its not just about this with you and your followers,,,, its not just about dicussing disagreements its personal which i cant discuss to long about personal beliefs,, if the person is not willing to stay open or sharing.

Well actuall its Gods way of thinking,,, he holds marriage sacred and seals it...and he doesnt like people getting divorced for no good reason... because he sealed it... i guess you could say he calls it a sin to break his seal.
No, there aren't any verses that state that. But the sacraments are beautiful pictures of the reality of the spirit of the matter. Water baptism is a picture of our Baptism with the Holy Spirit, for example. And the taking of communion is a picture of that marvelous thing that happens that no one can describe when He communes with us inside.
I didn't understand the sealing part of his post either, by the way, although God does say the two become one.

His kingom his in me but i havent seen his kingdom yet. i know it exiists and i know his realm is not the earths realm all tho it could be close,,,,as he does make things in his image. So i can only hope i will see his house one day,, like when people meet are queen,, they hope for it,, (maybe this is a menatality of God (hope) where does hope come from ?... remember all things come through him,,, and so now they have become like us knowing all good and evil...

Okay, I get what your saying better now that you expounded on your thought some more. This is true - let no man separate what God has joined together. And it tells us that God gave them some laws that were not good for them and Jesus said that Moses allowed divorce because of the hardness of their hearts but that it was never Gods' wish for divorce.

My bible said sin came by Adam...not the serpent....the serpent did not slander he questioned....HATH God said......does not your bible say sin came BY ADAM??

God sealed Noah in the ark.. I doubt you think Noah could have broken out.. You are not strong enough to break the seal of God my friend..

I was being facetious. The sealing of the Spirit was being likened to marriage. And we could break that seal or marriage.
So God would be a "perfect" divorcee.
It's just so silly around here at times. It's hard not try to force some "think about it!!!!" humor in everyonce and a while.
An openly unsaved person...........trying to give us spiritual guidance?!? If I was saved, and if he made some sense to me in this department..........I would go seriously introspective right quick.
