A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
Luke 6:45
To some there are no good men.
Jesus says there are good men and they bring good things out of their hearts
to share.
Evil men though bring evil out of their hearts, hatred, bitterness, evil, lust,
greed, self indulgence, avarice, envy, sexual immorality.
Good men bring peace, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
self control, gentleness, meekness, perseverance.
Now who are we in Christ, and where are our hearts, purified or still a
fountain of problems and unresolved desires?
Now imagine this, someone saying there is no difference between the two,
in fact everyone is the same, and in Christ we are redeemed and going to
heaven and God just forgives us, we are what we are, just accept it.
What choice do you have when your heart is an untamed beast destroying
you every day. The closer one gets to religion, the worst it seems to appear,
odd that if religion is the solution to the problem?
Jesus said,
The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim
freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.
Luke 4:18-19
Maybe those who say they follow Jesus but do not experience this have
missed something along the way. The clue might be in their hearts.
