I can't imagine that anyone gave serious credence to Trump's claims he would build
an entire wall right across the border.

It was never going to happen, people must have realised that.

there's different kinds of 'walls'...

The only walls being built are those within the American population and the rest of the world.

I have seen many countries over the years, and sometimes I'm pondering why Americans in general have turned into global snowflakes. People elsewhere aren't that scared as we are.

Back in the day we would not have been talking about walls and security. If someone had been making threats we'd just have said "Bring 'em on!"

I don't know if you are just being argumentative, or actually are that ignorant..........here......see if you can understand this:

EXCERPT

White
Black
Hispanic
Asian
American Indian/Alaska Native
Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander
Two Or More Races
Total

Population Distribution by Race/Ethnicity | The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation
The title of the page your link goes to is: Population Distribution by Race/Ethnicity

Race and ethnicity, are not the same thing.

A person could be grouped into the caucasoid, negroid, or mongoloid race, and be hispanic.

Race is the division of groups of people by differences in physical characteristics.

Ethnicity is the division of social groups by: nationality, religion, language, cultural traditions, etc.

What I wrote above, is what I remember from the sociology class, I attended in college, paid for myself, with no government assistance. You can look it up yourself, instead of posting links to irrelevant websites.

Definition of Hispanic: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Hispanic

Here is an article that defines the difference between race and ethnicity: Ethnicity vs Race - Difference and Comparison | Diffen

Ethnicity and Race are most often used as one in the same..........however, there are differences.......yet, when one considers the differences, Ethnicity ONLY does NOT describe peoples of Hispanic Origins.........

EXCERPT

Summary:
1. Ethnicity is about the learned cultural behaviors celebrated throughout regions around the world.
2. Race is an indication of the heritage with which you were born, regardless of location or learned behavior.
3. Ethnicity can be altered or mimicked through choice and beliefs.
4. Race cannot be altered.

In the past 16 years, I have arrested more than 9 thousand people. Everytime I arrest a person, I must complete a form than is sent to federal government authorities. This form is called a CCRE. It is the document that fingerprints are rendered to, as well as all identifying information of the offender. On this form, a person may only be identified by one of 4 races: American Indian/ Alaska Native, Asian/ Pacific Islander, Black, White. There is an "unknown" option also. On this form, completely separate from race, is a place to mark the offenders ethnicity. The only option is: Hispanic, Not Hispanic.

Well Mr. p-rehbein, that is a government form I complete nearly every day. Apparently the Department of Justice doesn't think Hispanic is a race.

Of course I don't believe a Government form is any authority on the matter like you do. Actually the government has no business defining what a race is, anthropologist do.

Good job finding an article that doesn't state who authored it, and sites no sources to the claims it makes. I even like how most the commenters at the bottom of the article knew better than the claims made in it.

Yes, I will beat a dead horse until you admit you are wrong. It's ok, you can do that. Nothing more will be said.

Sounds like you are talking to him In the third person possibly because he didn't respond to your post the way that would agree with your predisposed stance on whether Mexico Is a nation or not.:)

:)You should tell us what you think about whether Mexico Is a nation or not a nation.

Mexico is a sovereign nation. I just wonder if p_rehbein believes it.
