I think we are missing the point. The mark of the beast and mark of God or His seal must be studied from the bible. I honestly do not think the mark of satan can be the micro chip. It maybe the mechanism which will be use to inforce the mark but it's not the mark of the beast. What then would God's mark or sealed or mark of authority be.
 
Something to ponder.

The book of Revelation was addressed to seven Churches consisting of people alive and active in the first Century AD.
The first Chapter includes the following :

Blessed is he who reads aloud the words of this prophecy and blessed are those who hear
and who keep what is written therein for the time is NEAR

Imagine one of the Pastors reading Revelation to his congregation. On completion a hand comes up. Excuse me someone says but what does the mark and number of the Beast mean? Ah the Pastor replies ''As the book says this calls for wisdom''
The room is silent as the congregation waits for him to continue.'' Well actually the Pastor continues its something to do with an economic system that wont be around for at least 2000 years.'' The congregation is astounded. Someone points out that the book says that the time is near. '' Yes says the Pastor it does say that its near but not how you think of near. It really means a long way off.'' ''Then why doesn't it say that'' the member asks. '' Don't ask awkward questions the Pastor replies just take my word for it. I have been studying the Scriptures for years.'' So the mark of the Beast has nothing to do with Nero Caesar whose name in Hebrew letters comes to 666? Of course not the Pastor replies angrily. Well then its all Greek to me says the congregation member who goes off and joins another church.

Exactly that is danger we face. The controversy between Jesus and satan. It has to do with worship. Jesus is asking for our worship and satan also wants our worship even if we are not aware, we are actually serving satan. I totally agree it calls for wisdom. I bible clear define in bible that the Sabbath is the seal of God or God's sign. While sunday is the mark of the beast. It is spiritual war not physical. satan deceived the whole world to accept sunday as the day of rest. And minority of the world's population keeps the true Sabbath (Saturday). All the governments around the world will institute a Sunday law to force all people to go to church on Sunday. It is called the blue law. That restrict shopping on Sundays. You can see that majority of people are thinking its microchip when it has to do with worship. The computerised system is there to enforce the legislation.

You completely miss the whole thrust of my post. Your reply seems to aim at pushing the Sabbath Day which is nothing to do with my ''Story'' My view regarding Saturday is that if you feel led to worship on that day go ahead but dont try to push it down peoples throats and accuse them of being Satan Worshipers. Sunday worship is not a replacement for the Sabbath it is a day to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. If you think thats not worth celebrating I feel sorry for you.

I am not saying that anyone should just accept my words as the gospel, but I hope my post can encourage someone to test and prove what I am saying. To for themselves study too, whether is it the truth or not. I am not forcing anyone to believe what I stated. Jesus never force anyone to believe as He does. If my post can just encourage someone is study out the subject for themselves then I think it achieved it purpose. I am not here to debate. Lets be good students and diligently and rightly divide the word. I am only putting my view point as there are many counterview too. Be blessed.

You are a member or a close sympathizer with the SDA Church. You gave yourself away by your reference to the ''Controversy'' between Satan and Jesus. As far as I know the only people who use that term on a regular basis are the SDA. The main book they use apart from the Bible is the Great Controversy between Christ and Satan by Ellen White
Another feature of the SDA is that members are very reluctant to reveal who they actually are in their publications. One has to really search to find out. If you wanted a serious discussion you should at least be honest about where your views are coming from.

I am Adventist. And I am not shy to say it. I have studied the scriptures with the help and guiding of the Holy spirit. And I believe that the teaching of the church is in harmony with the word.
 
I have always thought the Mark of the beast on the forehead and right hand was indicating a system or way of acting and thinking. I thought it was symbolism of the anti christ systems way of thinking opposed to Gods ways of thinking. Could it mean It is contrasting the way a righteous man thinks and acts opposed to the way a lost person acts and thinks? Kingdom of God verses Kingdom of darkness and the fruit each Kingdom produces in ones life.

The forehead would represent thinking, the hand would represent actions produced by those thoughts.

Just thought I would throw that out there! Pure speculation
