How do feel about a video game giving Christian messages to children?

I think that it's supposed to be taught in the home along with being able to differentiate the real from the fake, there seem to be different avenues to take even in following God's advice some deliberately deceptive that's why I believe that the the correct should be taught first thing just like most bilingual families teach their children there native language before their national language that's usually before they even enter the school system.

I'm playing a game now that presents a scripture first thing,it also religious undertone.

It's certainly not conservative or even Christian aside from some scripture,it have been financed by catholics because it has a obvious sexual overtone.

This is a game with a adult rating I presume but we all know that jids will get their hands on anything if they are so inclined.

Are Christian messages in a video game bad?

In this particular instance I think that they are because they are combining scripture with sexuality even deviance blurring the line.

I've seen churches do the same.

No kids, and I have an addictive personality, so had to give up video games too.

Personally, when we were still trying to have kids, I was pretty sure I wanted to be sedated at delivery and then woken up again 18 years later. Then I could lock the "kids" in the house for another 18 years to protect them. So, let's just say this is from someone who has never had kids and that's a good thing.

I tend not to buy "Christian message" in any form of fiction. I've read too much junk and listened to too many Christian songs to believe most of them are "Christian" at all. I'm not against fiction. I would hope I could teach a child the difference between reality and fiction though. I know I'd give them a big dose of skepticism. I'm very good at that.

That's a big reason why I don't have kids myself, with a world geared towards corrupting them it's just not worth it especially when you consider stuff like "sins of the father" I think that is from the Bible and it means (i think) a father of a wayward child is like that because they weren't taught properly by the father.

Im still learning so it could mean a perfectly good child suffering for "sins" that his father done but that doesn't sound right.

You are thinking of Ezekiel. It says "not" though:

[SUP]20 [/SUP]The soul that sins shall die. The son shall not suffer for the iniquity of the father, nor the father suffer for the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.
