I have made no secret that one of the reasons I came on here is to try and be a help and a guide to Christians regarding their physical lifestyle habits.
I have stated that I have been saddened for quite some time that so many of Gods people are ignorant of Gids natural laws governing our bodies and health.

Of course I do not want to see anyone suffer or be sick.

None is us do.
I feel doubly that way though about Christians. We should have a deeper insight and discernment about this then those who do not know the Bible or have a relationship with God.

To many of us are being cut down in years and quality of health needlessly.

That is having a negative impact on our lives and our ministries. Among our family and friends. Who knows how many cumulative thousands of years we have forfeited? Who can say how many may have come to salvation that may be lost?

There is more confusion about diet among Christians then about the word.

That is no small feat. Just look at the BDF.

Yet I can understand why. The media and health structure have brainwashed society regarding health and food and remedies and modalities in a way that they have not regarding Christianity.

I know many here do not believe a lot of what I have put out there. I expected that. In no way am I comparing my selves to a prophet, still I have a hint and a glimpse of there frustration and torment. They spoke the truth, yet their own scoff at them.

The reasons are many. One of the main ones being people do not like the spiritual and physical error of their ways pointed out to them.

And if they know it in their heart to be true, yet do not respond to it, then it makes people doubly resistant.

Also, what we learned and grew up with, the things that have been grinder into us, are hard to change.

People like routines and stagnation. It may not be ideal for growth but it is a very comfortable to live... for a time.
Until the day of reckoning comes.

I am going to try and clear up some of the confusion on the thread, making posts when I have the time and inclination.

I'll try to explain the basics of the consequences of what happens when we violate Gods natural laws.

I also may as well admit that I am thinking a writing a book about this, so I can use this as a way of accumulating notes and ideas for it. If I do it.

an old friend recently said in a text msg: Go, go, go for it! if the Lord wills. Be blessed and continue to bless others.

You know if disease were not robbing Christians of years of life and also of many years of quality of health, and sometimes of finances and also their loved ones of their service and love and Godly wisdom and the world of their ministries, not to mention the pain and misery some aliments cause, I would not be so insistent about getting the knowledge out there.

That's all I want to do; just get the info out here. After that, what you do with it is your business. I pray you use it well, but if not, that's cool to.

My job is to give Christians the proper biblically endorsed and scientifically proven information.

I do not mind questions. I am happy to answer them. All I ask, and have been continuing to ask, is just please, if you disagree with me, back it up with real science.
Not with phony studies paid for by big pharma, or double blind studies that are scientifically questionable. Not with your opinions about why it is okay to eat this or that. Opinions in this area do not mean much to me, unless it is laced with a good dose of real life experience and/or solid medical scientific studies.

I am not going to get to much into my qualifications, except to say in real life I am a nutritionist. I have gone to school for it. I have read to many books to count on it. I have spoken to so many others in my field over the years that I also lost count of that too. I have studied for over a decade with one of the worlds foremost holistic naturalopathic doctors. I have counseled to many clients, again, to count.
I have been a 100% strict vegan for almost 25 years, raw for a good number of them. I have fasted for many many weeks more then a few times. I was sick in my early thirties and this life style saved my life.
I have a clinical background in nutritional science.

So now that I got that out of the way...

...let me make some general statements.

The purer your blood is (which happens by eating well) the better your mind is going to work. No two ways about it. This is not a theory.
Also, the elevated mental sharpness leads to a elevated spiritual clarity.
Again you can believe it of not, but stop and think about it for a second. If your drugged up or drunk, your body is impaired, and so is your mind. You do not need to be blind drunk or stoned off your mind. Even a buzz alters our coordination and alertness and mental capability.
I think we would all also agree in that state that we are not as plugged in as spiritually as we are when straight.

So if you stop and follow this line of reasoning, then if you improve your physical sate of being by eliminating toxic materials from your body, which mostly will come in the form of diet, then your cells will clean up, your blood will begin to purify, and you will be healthier. Your mind will become clearer, and your spirit will reach a higher level too.
Everything is interconnected. That's how God designed us.

As a very good friend of mine has said again and again, the condition of the human body is electrically and chemically empowered, spiritually and vibrationally induced, and biologicvally and genetically performed.

So yes, a mere change in your lifestyle can have a impact not only on your body but also on the mind and spirit.

To what degree? The ball is in your court for that.

It depends on how committed you are. You can find a way and a reason to rationalize why you will not change your lifestyle and want to continue in your comfy unhealthy routine. You can continue with all your problems the way they are. They can persist if you like.

Your hesitation will tell you really do not want to change.

The first step to grow in this is to commit to yourself that you want to strive to improve your spiritual, mental and physical life.

On to the actual nuts and bolts of the lifestyle.

Let me say first that it is a lifetime plan. Thar's right. A lifetime. If you want to experience the full benefits you have to steal yourself that this is not a 2 month diet.

It can have benefits as a short term or mid term routine. Still if you want to become the best you, the healthiest you until (most probably) your 80's or 90's, then you have to look at this as a lifestyle and not a temporary diet.

This scares a lot of people away. I know that. I wish I could say that you can really experience its full abundant benefit by doing if for 6 months, or a year. You can definitely see a huge benefit even in the short term, but its not about that.

So as I continue to put the info out there, choose a plan that will allow you to adhere to for the rest of your life. No sense in doing it for 2 years to only fall back or fail the 3rd year.

Of course their are limits of how much you can compromise it. If your parameters are to wide, it is just not going to work.

I have to wrap this post up. I will say this as a way of segwaying into the next post.

My focus is not about you all getting enough nutrition in your food. Thats means minerals, vitamins, amino acids, and so on. Most people in the USA do not have that issue. If that is a issue for you, I would have to know the details of why, and for some people it is, but generally for most people if is not the crux of what is going on.

Sadly a lot of doctors were and still are trained with the accent on foods nutritional values, what little training they have in this area to begin with.

I am focused on the bio chemical nature of food and the body.

Your body recognizes food as only chemicals.

I will leave with this. Doing this diet is actually very simple. I could not write 2 pages much less a book if someone asked me for the synopsis of the diet / I prefer to call it a lifestyle plan, on paper.

Here it is:

Leave out ALL the processed foods. Forever.

At its optimum level, that leaves only 5 food groups to eat.
Fruits, veggies, seeds, nuts and sprouts. Now there is a lot of variety in those groups. I have been doing for 24 years. A lot of those years using only raw uncooked foods.

But don't worry, we can expand this to having some flesh products like fowl, fish and meat, and some grains too. It will not be to the level of the former group, but will still be highly effective and will chemically alter your body in a way to bring you into biological healing and the stages of reformation: Recuperation, stabilization and finally regeneration.

Some of you who do not think you can heal any further, or who have lost hope, if you really do this, I mean follow it the way I explain it, you are probably going to see results you have never seen or imagined before.

I am telling you, before you tell me all the reasons why I am wrong, unless you tell me you have tried it, or if you have one of the limited number of conditions that do not respond well to this, you are going to see at least some improvement. In many cases the improvement will be dramatic.

Processed foods are dead devitalized foods. Their energy force is nil. Their vibrational and electro magnetic compound is close to zero. They have low and often synthetic nutritional value. If you micro wave them your only compounding the issue.

I can not stress enough that Gods natural laws apply. He leaves clues in everything He has created and His principals apply across the board. For example, God has said that daily prayer and relationship with Him is crucial to our spiritual health. God wants us to renew ourselves everyday. There is a reason He separated the day and night, both spiritually and physically. You can take the same principal and apply it to your physical well being. The eating daily of fresh whole and vibrant foods is paramount to our health. If you eat processed foods your eating foods that are physically stale and harmful.

If you faithfully submit to Gods natural laws and order of created human design you will benefit, just as you would if you do so in a spiritual sense. Every principal of how God wants us to live is relevant to every aspect of our lives. Be it intellect, physical or spiritual.

If anyone is familiar with epigenetics then you know our thoughts and lifestyle can alter our genetic expression. That is something that previously science believed was impossible. Now they know it to be fact. People with neurosis have a 36% more chance of getting cancer then those without.

It is not a exaggeration when I say that about 80% to 85% of degenerative diseases in the USA are caused by a poor standard of living, diet being a major factor.

People will often gloss over it or deny it, but the addiction to pleasure is probably the prevailing reason why people have such a hard time adjusting their diet and lifestyle. They just love processed foods, even though in this day and age the information is out there like never before about the harm they do. But try to tell someone that this or that food in their diet is bad and they will come up with 50 reasons why it is not bad or why they can still eat it even if it is harmful. Its just human nature. Most people are motivated by their emotions, and often do this because they are compelled by either pain or pleasure to do or not do them.

Christians especially need to come to terms with the balance of emotional peaks and lows with the steadiness of discipline of foresight and steadiness. Without this we are just being buffeted by the winds.

We need to be consistent in in our spiritual and physical lives. One of the natural laws God deemed is that the human will body will only function at a optimal level if what we eat is consistent to our bio chemical make-up.

Our body will do its job if you allow it to. The body will try and communicate with you about its needs, but most people today because of the food they eat are so desensitized regarding the messages their body is giving them that they only realize there is a problem when the day comes they are diagnosed with a serious disease. At that point your body is screaming at you to give it a chance to perform its god designed chores. If you don't change at that point, it just finally goes the way of such dis-ease that it expires.

Good health has the effect of increasing your body awareness. Now you will even notice minor irritations that before you may have been unaware off.
This new recognition is a God send. At this point your body can realy to you its needs, what to do and not yo do.
The food you may have been able to tolerate before will no longer be compatible to your new body chemistry and your body will let you know it. Congratulations, you have reached a higher level of cleanliness in your body. You body has a more
a improved and more efficient chemistry. Now it can repair and heal new and evn old lingering health issues that before it could not address because it was just busy trying to eliminate the toxic overload you kept pouring into it day after day.

The bodies innate intelligence will do something else that is wonderful and God designed. it will prioritize the order of healing. If you have cancer, allergies and acne it will address the cancer first, the allergies second and the acne last.

keep in mind though, if you have a waffle for breakfast, a pizza for lunch, a hot dog for a snack and then a healthy all vegetable salad for dinner followed by a hamburger, your not going to go into detox and biological healing, That token salad is going to to bring you health. It doesn't matter if everything you ate that day was glutton free and organic and grass fed, you just have to many other aspects of the diet that is harmful.

What is harmful about what the diet I just described in the previous paragraph? Most of the foods above are acidic. They are low or even no enzyme activity. They use up a lot of the bodies available energy to digest. They are low in hydration. They promote abnormal cell growth. They cause inflammation and oxidation. They have processed sugars and/or salts and/.or fats. They suppress the immune system. They cause stomach flora imbalance. They cause fermentation. They are instigators of harmful inter cellular gases.

A common claim I have heard from clients over the years is, "but they have a lot of nutritional value." And that's true. But that's like saying after a night of hard drinking "I had a great time though."
There are better ways to have a great time and there are better ways to get your nutrition. Beyond the message of leave out all processed foods...forever, I can not stress enough that when you eat food you need to be conscious of the benefits versus harm ratio. In other words, is that food more harmful then beneficial?

Here is a example. If you eat pork and trade it off for cow meat, you just increased the quality of your protien intake.
If you trade that off for lean grass fed Buffalo meat, you again improved your protein intake. The organic Buffalo meat is a healthier source of protein then the industrialized produced pork.

To go a step further, if you eliminate the meat altogether and instead use only fowl as a protein source you just stepped up the quality of your protein origin.
Now you say, I am going to swear off fowl and eat only fish a a way to get my protein, you just eliminated more toxin from the body and made your digestion energy output lower.
Then you say, you know, I am done with eating animals all together. I don't want to be part of killing them, or maybe they are to expensive, or maybe you do not like the smell of them when they cook, or maybe you just want to get healthier. So you start eating only beans to get your protein.
But you grow tired of the gas or maybe like the taste of nuts and seeds more.
Now your eating only raw unsalted organic nuts and seeds as a source of protein. There are other vegan sources, broccoli has more digestible protein then milk, but just for the sake of this discussion lets stick with nuts and seeds.

At this level you now are eating the least harmful, most beneficial and most easily digestible form of protein there is.
You have now come one step closer to allowing the body to achieve a higher level of health. Doing just that with your protein source will not be enough to push the body a biological healing mode, but your one step closer.

A word about changing the bodies chemistry enough to where your now into the realm of permitting ti to clean house; your either in it in such a way where it is going to address disease or not. It is like being on the roof of a 10 story building and jumping over to the next roof of the 10 story building next to it. Either you make it or you miss. Even if you miss by a inch you still missed.
Many people have expressed to me that they are doing the diet 75% of what I suggested so they should get 75% of the healing benefits. It does not work like that. At 75% you missed. You fell down 10 stories. Your going to get maybe only 20% (to throw out a number- some of this is not quantitative by science to where it can be measured down to the exact percentage) of the healing, in which case your body is not going to heal that cancer you may have.

So far two main things to keep in mind. The most important is

Leave out all the processed foods.
If the food is doing more harm then good, leave it out.

*** If you followed the first rule, then the second rule really will not be relevant. Still a example would be if you sauteed your own potatoes. They are fresh, organic, you got the unprocessed potatoes from the store yourself. You just cut them up, added a little organic Olive oil to the pan and cooked them up. Now its not the worst thing, and indeed if your doing everything else right, while I do not recommend fried foods, because sauteed is just a fancy word for frying, and if your eating the sauteed potatoes in smallish amounts maybe only once a week, and if your not in active disease state, you may be able to get away with it. Still, we all know that while potatoes may have benefits, that frying them makes it a net minus food. Or in to put it another way, it is doing more harm to the body then whatever good (nutrients) you may be getting from them.

A processed food is anything that is altered from its original state. So technically any cooked food is also processed. The example I used in my last post of sauteed potatoes is actually an example of processing a food.

In fact from the moment a fruit or veggie is harvested they begin to oxidize and start to slowly lose their nutritional value. But that's another story. Most of us do not live on a farm where we can eat the fruit or veggies we pick within moments of plucking them. Lets stick with real world dynamics...

For example, if you take a fruit and cook it, you have altered its chemical composition. Heat does that to food. You have lowered its vitality and its usefulness to the human body and increased the aspect of harm it will cause the body. The cooked fruit is no longer as compatible to the biological human experience as it previously was. But if all you do is take a plantain and just steam it, that's not to bad, relatively speaking.

Unfortunately some people can not leave it at that. Especially food companies. They cook it, add additives and/or chemical preservatives, sometimes add processed sugars, bag and seal it with nitrous oxide; send it on its way. Guess what, it may taste great, but the food is now a mere shadow of what it was in its original unprocessed state. Most of its vital energy and companion nutrients have been processed out of it. Processed foods are broken up, rearranged, have chemicals and preservatives added to them.
Your liver has to deal with all this added toxic junk, and that's what it is, because trust me, those chemical additives are not food. Your liver is one of the organs that has to work its way through this abuse. It performs over 500 different functions, the main one being that of a filter. What is filter metrics 101? You need to keep it unclogged. If you keep continually overloading your liver with junk eventually it will function in a compromised manner. That is bad for your whole body. When you finally overwhelm your liver the chemical residues that it was filtering out will accumulate in your body and cells. That in turn will have a intoxicating exogenous effect on the body. Welcome to loss of health, and diminished well being. Which is where most Americans over 40-45 years of age are at. We are aging faster biologically then we are chronologically.

For any of you that are on a fixed income, or maybe just plain frugal, when you eat processed foods you are not getting the same value dollar wise and neither is your body getting the same full nutritional value of the food when you consume foods that are heavily altered. Also, to make matters even worse, your body has to expand more energy to get less. Remember there is a finite amount of energy your body has. The average SAD uses about 70% of its energy to process a meal. You can get that down to around 15% if you food combine and eat the proper quantities and proper foods at the correct times. I do not know anyone who could not use that extra energy for some other endeavor. But if your okay with the trade off of taste versus disease, then just keep on eating like that.

Yet with all that, not to worry, you can still certainly eat cooked foods and still thrive. keep in mind I am talking mostly about food you cook in your kitchen. Not stuff you buy frozen in the store to heat up when it is dinner time. Though I would recommend anyone serious about dramatically improving their health eat no more then around 1/3 of their diet cooked.

The gentlest way to cook a food is to lightly steam it. The next most innocuous manner would be to boil it. Be aware though that when you boil food you leech a lot of the vitamins out of it. Then you have other different methods of cooking such as crock pots, baking, broiling, etc.

The general rule of thumb is the closer the cooked food is to burnt with less water content the more harmful and less nutritious it is to you body. In fact, microwaved and charcoaled and charred burnt food is mutant food. In same cases the body does not even recognize them as food sources anymore.

The body takes food intake a lot more seriously then most of us do. The chemical and cellular process's that it undergoes when its time to digest food is truly astounding. We take it for granted, but in truth the most intimate physical relationship we all have is not with our husbands and wives but with food and the planet that gives them to us. Your putting something in you that becomes you. It shapes your cells, influences your genetics, is a factor in how you look and feel, and can even be a factor in molding your intellectual and spiritual views.

When you shop at a supermarket you should be getting the bulk of your food at the produce department. If you are not, then chances are your not eating in a way that is promoting health and longevity.

We do not need another diet book. We will thrive when we have a mindset of the discovery of the truth that there are certain biological elements that exist that cannot be changed. We need to resolve ourselves that this is how God made us. He made us perfect the first try. He did not need a redo. We are the same today as we were when He created us in the garden. The diet that He gave us then works now to.

If you challenge that, then all I ask is that you do the Genesis 1:29 diet for 2 months. If you do not see some fantastic positive changes with your health then you will be only one who has ever told me that.

A word of caution and warning. If you are on meds or in a health crisis then do not do the Genesis 1:29 diet. You need to consult your doctor then. In fact you probably should not do it either at all or only with expert advice and guidance. But if you are relatively healthy you should be able to do it without any major issues.
Also, even if you do not take meds and are not in a health crisis, and even if you are young - if your not sure about doing it or hesitant, or over 40 years old, I would get a blood test done and consult a health expert first before commencing.

There is a lot of confusion about how many times a day we should ideally eat. The high protein diet (one of the worst diets out there) advises eating 4 to even up to 6 meals a day. They say it will speed up your metabolism.

In the beginning those that subscribe to this plan actually feel good, due to the stimulating effects of the protein. Animal protein has a endogenous by product of 68%. What this means is that the can not utilize 68% of the animal protein and has to eliminate it. This process of eliminating animal protein, through various biological chemical functions that I won't bore you with, causes stimulation in the bodies nervous system. This is why some people who eat a lot of animal protein experience light headedness or loss of energy when they cut it out. Some take it as a sign of low blood sugar, but most of the time it is because their bodies are going into the first stage of detoxification.

But eating protein and processed foods cause something science calls advanced glycation end products. Today most Americans eat a diet comprised mostly of heat-processed foods and as a result many of them are instigating their bodies to produce these AGEs. Dietary advanced glycation end products (dAGEs) are known to contribute to increased oxidant stress and inflammation, which are linked to the recent epidemics of diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
Animal-derived foods that are high in fat and protein are generally AGE-rich and prone to new AGE formation during cooking. In contrast, carbohydrate-rich foods such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and milk contain relatively few AGEs, even after cooking.

Eat enough animal protein and the body will adapt as best it can to the ingestion and stimulation of that protein. Don't misunderstand; just because the body heroically attempts to adapt to this defamation does not indicate that it is agreeable to pummeling it with large quantities of this food source. All it means is that God designed us so miraculously that we can abuse our bodies for decades before seeing tangible results. What I said in a previous post, that Gods principals apply universally. Meaning like sin, we sometimes don't see the results of what we have done until many years late. Still the slow erosion of our health will, like sin, eventually manifest itself in some ugly painful way.

Back to the main point of how many meals a day. A major problem with snacking is that it leads to food fermentation and putrefaction in our digestive tracts. To briefly expand on this. In a prefect world we would eat one meal and allow it to fully digest. That means we give the stomach time to empty out before we eat our next meal. This is incredibly paramount to our over all health. As I discussed in a previous post, fermentation and putrefaction causes toxic blood gases which in turn are the precursor to most disease. They cause inflammation and oxidation, are a contributor in the production of glycotoxins, can cause stagnation in the body, are a component of "dirty" blood, compromise the immune system, can cause tiredness, upset the balance of our gut flora, and can actually be a factor in allergies and even acne.

One of the problems with piling meals on top of meals is that it has a undesirable effect on the permeability of our stomach walls.

I will get more into it in the next post.

I need to give this a bump.
I have to try to get some new posts up soon enough. Just getting started. Trying to clear up some of the confusion, and believe me, there is a lot of misinformation being put out there, purposely so or otherwise.
I have been so busy...Been doing a lot of work for some juice stores, and counseling.
I have to get back to this. Some people have PM'ed me saying they have instituted some of it and that this info has helped them improve their health.
Praise God for that.

Awesome thread! Thank you for the time and effort you put into posting this. I pray it gets through to those who truly need it. All one has to do is look around and see the conventioal way of eating isn't working. We are a nation sicker than ever. :/ Seeing people suffer is heartbreaking especially when I know there is hope. I've been eating a 100% plant based diet for a few months and I will never go back.

Looking forward to future posts. :)

Incredible posts! I hope you aren't finished yet because I would LOVE to continue reading and learning. I recently did 30 Days to Healthy Living (which is an Arbonne program). It is a detox program and as a by-product I lost weight. But many of the health points you make, this program follows.
