anger does not overcome he world

this is too serious to just be angry

we are all angry from time to time, but this is not something to indulge our own behaviors about
Ok. I got it. Now then, I kindly draw attention, if I may, back to posts #96 and #98.

You're right. I am angry. Angry at sin, at arrogant liberal politicians (like Obama) who give license to sin. Angry at those who say they are Christian and then support and vote for men and women like Obama.
Angry at those same people who then turn around and condemn Christians for condemning those leaders.

Righteous indignation. Maybe that's what it is.

Wasn't aware people needed permission from Obama to sin

Assad’s regime in Syria is firmly aligned with Iran,
but a prophecy in Psalm 83 shows that this Iran-Syria alliance will collapse.

Even though Iran is rising to dominate the region,
Syria will actually join a group of Arab nations aligned with Europe.

They don't. But then there's his own perception of himself.
His policies and much of the things he says lend support to sinful behavior.
Remember, he condoned and supported by his own words and through his policies sinful behavior.

Back in 2013, after Mr. Obama allowed Russia into Syria and made his deal with Mr Putin.
The utter folly of allowing Putin to present himself as “the great peacemaker of our time”

This man has done more to keep Bashar Assad in power in Syria than any other leader
in the world. Russian weapons have probably been the main factor preserving Assad’s rule!

Putin’s backing of the Syrian regime is a major reason Assad has been so willing to slaughter
his opposition by the tens of thousands. In addition, Putin wants to restrict America’s power
in the Middle East—and everywhere else—and to strengthen his own. …

This is the man who invaded Georgia just five years ago (without UN permission). The man
who has ordered the elimination of tens of thousands of Chechens. The man who has openly
supported Iran despite its sponsoring terrorism. He used to be an officer of the Soviet secret
police. He is a great admirer of Stalin—who killed more of his own people than Adolf Hitler did! …

Now Putin was conducting the peace process of all things! The Obama administration is trusting
this man to put Assad’s weapons of mass destruction under international control and to
guarantee Assad can no longer terrorize his people.

Charles Krauthammer called this the worst failure ever in U.S. foreign policy. Commentary
magazine labeled President Obama’s flip-flopping on Syria a “debacle,” and said it showed
“staggering incompetence” by the White House.

The whole spectacle was an embarrassment for the United States on a massive scale.

The same people who were behind this disastrous deal in Syria were the ones who negotiated
a deal with Iran. The same people who claimed they removed the chemical weapons from Syria,
claim to have stopped Iran from getting a nuclear bomb.

Already some of those “deadly consequences” are crystal clear.

I'm skipping to the end of this thread, so if someone already said this, my apologies!

First, Assad has been poisoning his own people with gas for almost the entire 6 year war. He promised he would not use Sarin gas anymore to the UN, and signed documents to that effect, although his recent attack was Sarin gas. He also uses chlorine gas, because it kills germs. I saw him speak, and he referred to the "terrorists" as germs, and hence killing them, including women and children and the elderly, was justified to eradicate the "disease."

Second, I just watched a movie today that my husband recorded called "Cries from Syria." It is very pro the Free Army and the citizens of Syria. It documents the whole war. I recognized that the name of the producer was Russian, so I wondered if it might be pro-Assad propaganda. But, it turns out this producer was a Russian Jew, who immigrated to Israel, where he has been producing award winning documentaries for many years. I found it interesting he became so involved in the Syrian people's cause.

The documentary is probably a bit on the propaganda side. But it does give a good background on the conflict, and the HUGE number of times Assad has gassed his own people, to say nothing of bombing the cities and infrastructure in the country till past recognition.

Third, I am really against war. I do worry that this might turn into World War III. But, I think that it is time someone stopped this horrendous dictator, who has literally destroyed his own country, killed millions of his own countrymen, and is on the side of Russia, if it comes down to a big war. Thus, the West has to do something to contain this. Obama should have done something a long time ago, and maybe it would mean we might not be on the brink of a war now. If it is too early for Trump to be fighting a war, it certainly was Obama that put him in this position.

Even our left wing, Muslim prime minister is supporting Trump's bombing. That might be because he doesn't want Canada to be cut out of the American pie. But since we have already brought in 50,000 Syrian refugees, I have heard, we are already part of this on-going nightmare in Syria.

PS If you can get ahold of this documentary, "Cries from Syria" is is worth the watch! I youtubed it, but the only one on it had no sound, and it was not nearly as long as the original. I guess HBO picked it up and showed it.

Trump once again lies to the American public.
He tells America that he bombed the airstrip in retaliation for Syrian gas attack but in truth he told the Russians before making the attack. They removed the planes, set back to watch laughing out loud LOL

The missiles did not damage the airstrip or planes or buildings as recent photos show.
It was a PR show and nothing more.

It's not WW3, but some people hope for death, they hope for bad things to happen secretly. Do conspiracy theorists or news readers spin a heavenly Gospel? Are they advisors of what they report, in the hope of working with their fan bases to find solutions to them? No they prey on this type of heart, that does not want to see peace; this type of heart wants to feel less dead, for it has come to know it. Waiting for the next 9/11. But would they find life if such came to pass? No. If it came they would realise that what they had hoped for, some calamitous change, was actually a hell they were giving energy towards making happen.

God is a peace bringer not a warmonger, and we were made in Gods image, while our carnal mind when it becomes detached from this image of God, becomes a secret visionary warmonger. I wonder how many German people regretted and felt remorse having hoped bad on the Jews, after what happened, having been taken in by propaganda. Atrocities committed by the Nazi's could not have occurred if it had not been allowed by the German people. No matter how good we think we are, we are all capable of twisting our own hearts, if we allow external things to give us that reasoning.

We just hit an airbase in Syria with 40-50 Tomahawk missiles.....Russia is Syria's ally.....odds this leads to a major war...Possibly WW3!
I haven't turned on the news yet today, but nobody seems to be concerned about this starting a major war. Does Russia really want to go to war with us over this issue? Perhaps they'd be better off advising Syria to stop gassing their civilian population.

we need to remember these things, and to reject "alternate history"
there is more to what's happened than the narrative coming out of the white house.

you know maybe, maybe, it really was the images of the children suffering from the serin gas like he said

he acknowledges that he has changed his mind

why don't people acknowledge that? questionable why that cannot be acknowledged

images like this one:

Abdulhamid al-Youssef sobbed as he carried his infant twins, wrapped in matching white shrouds, to their final resting place.
Ahmad and Aya, nine months old, died on Tuesday morning in a chemical attack on the town of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib, northern Syria, along with Mr Youssef’s wife Dalal and 16 other members of his family.
On Wednesday he had to bury them all in an unmarked mass grave.

I think it's well known here that I don't like Donald Trump but I would have done exactly the same thing given the circumstances. Quick and concise action was the right thing to do here

Nobody on Christianchat.com believes Assad gassed some of his own people on 4-4-2017; if they really believed Assad gassed his own people, they would have been able to refute the videos' I posted and they would be able to show credible evidence. These gullible warmongers, who are puppets of the global elite banking cartel, lose once once again; God will be their judge.
