The latest News here is that in talks with the Chinese Trump is going to tell them to reign in North Korea otherwise he will do it himself. Trump has not specified exactly what he has in mind but it sounds ominous. Its Ironic that the US needs the Chinese good will to prevent a possible war. Your thoughts please.....
I worry that he will somehow start a war with China. Relations between America and China weren't good while Obama was in charge. That China is doing nothing about how North Korea is tells you they have no problem with it. But now the americans trying to get involved and change stuff, it is not going to end well. It may end in some war.

I wish Trump would tell the President of China that they should dispose of the fat boy in N. Korea and annex N. Korea to be a part of China. Then, take control of their nukes............at least then, we could all breath a wee bit easier.
South Korea would never agree to giving North Korea to China.. South Korea would demand to take control of a fallen North Korea just like West German took over the fallen East Germany..

I doubt that the majority of North Koreans would want to be part of China, in particular the older generation who remember how things were before the war started. Many of those adoring Koreans you see in propaganda scenes are that way because its better than being in a labour camp or dead. On the other hand being under Chinese rule is probably the best they feel they can achieve thats why there are said to be 150,000 troops on the border to prevent them from making a run over to China.

Perhaps, a man who didn't know any better,

Might try to take on the whole world.

Destroying any hope of peace,

Creating a world of war and devastation.

Mass murder, on a global scale.

lots of people think false peace is peace. Then somebody has to fix the disaster that a false peace brings on the world. Like for example a nuclear armed Iran etc.

then the guy who has the stones to take on the things his predicessor screwed up is called a war monger. Apparently people are as dumb as ever...maybe even dumber.

The North Korea situation has been ongoing since 1953 even the most ardent Trump supporter cant blame Obama for that.
The current Syria situation is another story. Trump sent insulting tweets to Obama in 2013 advising him not to attack
Syria and now he has done just that. Its no good saying the situation has changed as some do because it hasn't. Assad is still in power attacking his own people as he was in 2013. The only thing that has changed is the President who may'' fix''
us all permanently.

I agree with most of what you said. I too hope that China will use diplomatic pressure on it's offspring. Frankly, I don't see that happening. It is hard to interpret China's intentions for massing troops on the North Korean border, whether they intend to do something about their neighbor, or if they are just protecting themselves from a massive invasion of refugees if Trump does decide military action. Personally, I've decided not to become too entangled in fretting over the possibility of war - even world war. Jesus told us the day would come. I am only passing through. My home is in Heaven. Jesus is returning; and when he does he will establish order.

To me, Trump doesn't seem to make idle threats. I am just going on his actions so far since he took office.

I read today that China has placed 150,000 troops on the North Korean border. It is thought that they are there to prevent masses of North Koreans trying to flee into China when the fat boy hits the fan.
Maybe, or maybe it is a sign that if Trump invades north Korea that the PLA is ready this time to respond immediately and in force to save their ally. It is a game of chicken, a show of force, a delicate dance of power and posture that is going on here it seems to me.

So China is gonna choose some tin pot dictator over collapsing their economy and that of the worlds? They got problems at home that a war with us would exacerbate exponentially. China will make the right choice.

Well, they did before, and let us not forget that.

I think it is posturing though. Trump is showing force with our navy so China shows force with their land army. A delicate dance in which one hopes there is no misstep on any toes.

No one wants to get involved with North Korea.

It is a vast mental hospital which will take generations to help sort out.
China wants it stable because all the north Koreans would leave given
half the chance.

It is simple too disfunctional and insane to fight with, as long as they slowly
work through the issues, it will implode one day.

The problem is if NK has to prove to itself it is a big kid and really harm
other countries, even by mistake, that could cause catastrophy.

Who are the ones who call for war?

Call for bullets, bombs, and guns.

Call for children to be slain, and mothers, fathers weep in vain, for children lost in death's cold chill.

Who are these who joy at death, and cheer for sorrow, pain, and love poured out from every vain.

Delight to see their neighbors die, the ones they promised God, their souls to save.

You fed me not, nor gave me drink, the children cry to Him.

And when you stand before the throne, they'll be there to see you then,

The joy you took when their lives end,

By guns and bombs the small ones die,

And you say more, more, may it never end.

The God of love would never say, that He wants it, to be that way,

How can you say, that you're His child.

Let's hope little fatty's hands ain't trembling so much that he'll be launching a nuke or two by accident after receiving Trumps message.
Knowing their "technology" their nukes would most likely blow up right when they try to launch them blowing their own selves up

Think Homer Simpson as dictator and you get the picture.

Where in my comment did you see me stating we should ask South Korea for their approval?

And, even if it were needed, which it isn't.....for - without US..... - South Korea would not exist.......why would they NOT prefer a far more STABLE Government/Power on their Border than the fat idiot there now?

South Korea has ZERO ability to DEMAND anydarnthing............their very existence is because of the BLOOD SHED by OUR Military. Best thing they can do is shut up and find a corner to sit in and hope they don't invoke our wrath.

South Korea would never agree to giving North Korea to China.. South Korea would demand to take control of a fallen North Korea just like West German took over the fallen East Germany..

Who cares what the majority of North Koreans want? Does anyone actually believe North Korea could STOP China from taking them over should they decide to? The idea of being under China's rule ain't exactly the Garden of Eden, but it sure beats the krazy fat kid they got now.

China is fearful only for themselves, they could care less about others! They know if we go after North Korea there own economy will crumble. That is the harsh truth of there concern! The control China once had has changed under this new President! They have every reason to be fearful so does North Korea! This President believes in resolve rather then in drawing a line! Its about time we had a President with some guts! Don't tell me what you are going to do,show me results in doing something! This is the mindset now of our Country!! ABOUT TIME!

The God of love would never say, that He wants it, to be that way
And yet many times in the OT He commanded entire nations to be destroyed... and in the end He will tell many to depart from Him because they are workers of iniquity.

Of course mercy rejoices against judgement... God would rather people turn away from sin and walk with Him, but make no mistake about it... if they don't, they are toast because there is no darkness in God meaning those that walk in darkness cannot and will not be allowed in to the Kingdom of God.

So North Korea, ISIS, Syria, and all other enemies of Isreal and the US deserve to be bombed BEFORE they have opportunity to attack Israel of the US.

It's always better to try to prevent a problem before it happens rather than trying to clean one up after it happens... ask yourself one question... which is better, you and your family being killed or the other guys being bombed and killed before they kill you?

This is in fact the sad state of affairs for mankind at this point in history and it will not stop until Jesus arrives to start His 1000 year reign as Lord King of the world and He will have to rule with a hand of iron because even after the devil is locked up and there is no temptor... some people will still try to act a fool and will have to be put down.

No need to worry... Jesus is a Man of War and He will put down all opposition to the will of God.

They will cry peace, peace... but Jesus said there will be no peace... not till He gets here, so fasten yo seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
