Does this state that the Holy Ghost is the Father of Jesus?

I believe you are asking as pertaining to our natural conception. The conception of Jesus is not natural but spiritual.

I don't know if "of the Holy Ghost" would mean that the Holy Ghost is Father.

Do you understand a spiritual conception? I don't.

Nope, just an old lady who loves Jesus.
Thank you for your reply.

Mat_1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

Does this state that the Holy Ghost is the Father of Jesus?

Echad is One in Hebrew. It means unified...It's also found in the men who were building or creating a tower in Babylon.

They were one "echad".

Not sure what that would entail. Do you know?

If the Holy Ghost is not the Father of Jesus then who is?

Questions like these I pray for wisdom, asking for enlightenment for God will reveal truth to those who seek knowledge of Him.

My personal view is that Holy Spirit is the Presence of God on earth...Jesus is our spiritual brother...and God is Father.

Whether or not that is correct? I don't know other than what I posted already.

The trinity is a mystery but is truth.

I get the "feeling" that you are asking trick questions. Are you?

What is your answers to your questions? You should let us know so we can discuss them.

I have already stated what I believe.
I am not giving you any feeling.
That comes from your own spirit.
I am just asking you questions
concerning your own words.
That is not a trick.

Spirit of Christ, spirit of God, Holy spirit are used interchagebly in the scriptures - to make a strict distinction between them is "futile" and unproductive.

We can see here that the prophetic "agent" is ascribed to both the spirit of Christ and the Holy spirit:

1 Pet 1:10 Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:

1 Pet 1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

Acts 28:25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,

Is the Spirit of God your Father?

Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

What is the Spirit of adoption?
I believe this is the only one in the bible to ever declare it.

Gal 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

As I said the "spirit" is used interchangeably of all three.

Jesus stated that to enter
into the Kingdom of God is to be born into it.

Are you saying to me
that you were adopted into the Kingdom of God?

If you believe that God is 3 persons
in one then all 3 persons are in heaven.

Jesus is the man God.
What are the other 2 persons?

I am a new Christian and I want to learn
the truth. I do not want to learn
the doctrine of men.

So if you reply
I may ask you many questions.

Thank you.

I'm not saying anything - the scripture is saying:

Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Translated, adopted similar motifs in effect.

And yes, the kingdom of God is the kingdom of his Son - I'll save you the time on your next question...
