hi Gospel, can you elaborate further to me about the 'NARROW DOOR'. Luke 13:23-27
Hi, Assuming you are talking about the straight gate, I’m thinking it is talking about judgement and the humiliation felt by those rejected then, signified in the wailing and gnashing of teeth, which many people confuse with pain burning in some mythical pit of sulphur if we are naughty boys and girls.

Hi Gospel, I love the passage here in Matthew 7:13-14- its more simpler for me to understand.talking about NARROW AND WIDE GATES.JESUS said here,"Enter through the narrow gate.For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction,and many enter through it.but small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life,and only a few find it.
before i was saved,i can do everything.i don't really felt guilt when ived done wrong.because its just a normal thing to majority.i dont have fear to GOD as well.i know HE loves me.HE loves me more than my earthly father.so that time,im in the path of wide gate. but since i accepted JESUS CHRIST as my LORD and SAVIOR,i was gradually changed by Him.always convicted when ived done wrong,im not free to do whatever i want.there is limitation of my free will.but i know GOD loves me so much that's why HE's molding,disciplining me in HIS way.though its hard to follow..its a must because i want to be with HIM.
indeed,entering narrow gate is very difficult,just see the life of other Pastors,missionaries,they are struggling.but inside them,they are happy serving the LORD.because in the end they will receive their reward.

I believe it is easier myself. There are no laws to follow, only faith is required in the true god, and knowing his nature correctly.. If one does that, grace will lead to their salvation at judgement. If they believe in getting to god by works and laws and commandments.. they are actually against god. As the bible states. Hope that answers some of your questions. I think most studiers today feel they have to earn their place in gods kingdom, yet that is a dangerous road to take.
Not sure why your last post says what it says though. I only quote scripture and if it is wrong god will judge me not man. If man does and they are wrong god will judge them even harsher. Another dangerous road to take.. I wouldn’t risk getting on the wrong side of god if I thought i was one bit wrong. But the spirit leads me to my answers in quoting his word. As for ministers etc..thy are mostly deceviers in todays world.. even moreso then Christs day.. again this is scriptural.

Hell is sheoll in the hebre and hades in the greek, it means 'covering place' , 'pit' and most commonly used 'GRAVE'.
we all go to the grave when we die.
I was referring about the imaginary place some people call hellfire. which they believe a loving god throws people to torture forever, which of course goes against the nature of god. even humans are more humane that this god they speak of.

More misquotes and bad handling of the truth i see...
you got one thing correct though..i QUOTE SCRIPTURE. yes that's right. I actually back up what jesus says by showing what he says..or what the bible says about a topic.. and match it totally with what I have quoted and believe.
I believe exactly as thebible states..and quote those scriptures..yet get back opinion after opinion and nothing much else.
I find it amazing how people deny the proof of the scripture that is there in front ofthem.. just to debate it with their opinions of what they FEEL is or should be right.

As I've already answered you on the other thread you accused me falsely in, I do believe in hell, souls and other things you say i dont..and if you read my posts you would see i even go into detail in why and how i believe it and use SCRIPTURE and disect it to make it easier to see what it is saying.. by the 'greek and 'hebrew' that is used.

what version bible do I use.. they all have the same message pretty much.. but if in doubt about a word being incorrect in a version if it doesnt seem to fit the context of the story told.. I go back to the greek and hebrew to see waht the word is there. which is essential for understanding ambiguous versses.
It amazes me that people think they can just have a quick flick through a bible and think they are saved, if they are a good boy or girl. Nobody can get saved without knowledge and that takes a lot of study.. faith cannot come by believing false gods such as mangods. that is false faith infaslse gods.. only knowledge by much stuyding can get you to understand the true god and his nature and being.. without that you cantjust get around saying you believe in god, because you read a page and it said thats all you need.
thats like me saying you only need to believe that animal is a dog. so you say ok i believe its a dog im saved now.. only to find out its not really a dog at all even though it seemed like one..

bro i "quote a verse and don't succeed" thats funny, i choose not to write the whole verse down verbatim purposely for i know you read the scriptures as does alot of people.encourage them to go read it themselves. Put it simply, we have no right to give or take lives, even our own. Living each day is no easy tasks, its easier to escape and end it sometimes but to do this is to prematurely end the life the Lord has given us, not forgetting we're all being put here for a purpose. Live a Christ-like life and wait on the Lord, when its time to go, then its time to go. Don't ever entertain the word suicide.
so jesus is the son of a torture god.. who unlike jesus who spoke about love and forgiveness, believes in burning and torturing forever people..

thats what it took for me to see other than what i once said..which was similar to what you are saying.. I admit I WAS very ignorant on the topic then and just didnt look into it in depth. That's why i understand a lot of the comments on here about suicide being wrong.. I once thought similar.. not that i reallllly studied it until it became close to home,
And no i didnt see it the other way to justify antyhing.. it is very clear when studied..
people can murder and make it to god.. only one thing is unforgivable for salvation..and thts what most are doing in the other subjects on this forum..

I agree with Gospel on this. For someone to be in that much pain to take their own life when everything naturally fights to live to be in that state is horrible for someone. What they need is love and understanding, which makes me happy that no one here saying how sinful it is is actually God or Jesus because they are about love and forgiveness. I just can't see a good God sending someone already in despair to hell. That would be a God more like the Devil and not worthy of worship. All of which isn't the case with God.
Unfortunately many people on here do infact believe God is a god of torture that sens many to fiery torment. I think that is very sad to put faith in such a thing.
As for why people suicide, many times it is because of other peoples pushing and in a lot of cases the churches today and their leaders and preachers are much to blame. with their never letting up attitude on young people to try and persuade them. They are the ones that will be judged unworthy, not the ones just trying to escape the repetitive pounding that results in the poor persons desire to free themselves of that. Churches are heavily to blame for many suicides. not all but a huge amount.

I agree on that, I mean what ever happened to the God of love? Also too many people here are actually looking forward to the world ending, and being born here I don't want that at all. I'm sure too God wouldn't want one of their creations destroyed just because people assume they get to go to heaven so they make it hell on earth. I know I'm a bit of a flower child but when has wanting peace, love, and understanding ever been a bad thing?
