Ricky,

at (59) this is a little hard to swallow, but, we each of us 'learn' at different
times and levels - always a good reason not to 'judge' those 'outside of the Body...

There are different seasons in a person's life.

CC has its place at the right season.

Hungry - God bless and hope to see you some day. :)

Kayla,

your sweet message was understood by many here as it was posted...sometimes it just
takes time to understand, but knowledge has a way of sneaking-up on us at the
oddest of times:eek:...hub and I always admire honest witnessing, it is rare,
but always brings such joy...:)
Yes!Folks like you who know the truth of the Word and mature in the faith,I always learn from saints like the both of you.I can name others that are such a blessing here. I wont because I may miss someone. :)

Again, making a point does not automatically imply judgment. That comes from being a part of a nation of the chronically offended.

And, apparently you are chronically offended -- twice?

I think we each have slightly different reasons for being here. Personally I joined for fellowship reasons but that's not to say I don't also use it to study and learn from others. All reasons are legit...it's when the name-calling ensues that this becomes an unpleasant place. I think we each need to be more patient with those who don't see things our way and this includes myself.

I will miss you Hungry, may God bless you where He takes you.

* And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Phil. 1:6. Go with God my friend. And stay 'Hungry' for His Word!

Slave, haven't seen you for a while, I would have thought Easter would be
an eggstravagant time of the year for you. :)

It is always Eggstravagant; just not Eggstra-ordinary! Actually, Easter is a common-place experience for me (now). I was in church this Easter, and we had record numbers show up in both services. I see the same annual attendees, the same people who are also faithful in attending the Christmas services. They are so happy to be able to use prayer as their last resort, and I simply say, "God bless them for coming." But I have come to understand God wants me to use my prayers as my first line of defense. I need to pray before I do anything at all. Eggs are a great premise to your joke, I enjoyed giving one back, Smile. Easter, for me, is so common place it has become my life, which is still nothing short of Eggstravagant!

Good to see you Miri - I have been out doing God's will. Busy with the Life2Life experiences, which is being highlighted here. But I also love the people here as well. God Bless you today Miri! Thanks for the "Smile" I enjoyed it.

You obviously don't recall the history of this exchange.

I'm done here. By-by CC
===================================

we must never blame others for the choices we make after we have lived for a certain time
in this 'fallen-world, it is what the world does, constantly, -
I can very well remember doing this often and I can remember some of the
un-desirable-consquences...

after 'conversion' with our daily lessons and learning how to 'put-on-the-new-man', =maturing in Christ,
we come to the understanding of our total responsibility for what we say and do -
if we talk it then we must walk it...

we don't learn this all at once by any means, but it is definitely a huge part of our growing-up
in Christ...
we slowly learn His Ways and through our New Found Love for Him, we can only desire
to put out/off our old filth into the gutter where it belongs and we never want to 'look/go back'...
yes, we can fail, many times at first, but, The Holy Spirit's Love and Teachings strengthen us
day-by-day, and we truly do learn how to 'walk in His Light' with the confidence and assurance
that He bestows upon us...take advantage of the years that you have been allotted get to know Him,
they are the only thing worth living/learning/growing for...
