ISLAM and MUSLIMS

This is really the question, isn't it? How is it even possible for Muslims to convert? How can we witness to them, believing what they believe? Why would we want to lead these people to Christ who are so deluded?

My experience of witnessing to muslims is two simple issues.
Love your neighbour as yourself is Jesus top commandment, and Gods yet it is missing
from the Koran but Muhammed claims the same source.

Corruption is declared of all faiths with Islam being the only right solution, yet what
is actually corrupted is never specified. A corrupting influence always confuses these
issues and makes everything unclear. God does not work like this, or truth or love.
Oddly Jesus's message was corrupted straight away yet Islam is still pure 1400 years
later. What is Jesus's message was true and Islam is the corruption?

Muhammed never resolved this, because he believed the bible yet did not know it,
and contradicted a sect of christianity which was not actual christian belief.

And muslims do come to faith, because they want love, justice and truth just like
us, but need a good source. And the price they pay is probable death unless they
leave the country they are in and their whole family. That is a high price to pay,
and why many never even begin.

So for me the biggest issue is love and a good conscience, both of which do not
figure in Islam but are what Jesus is all about.

So what you have said here is completely false. I was being talked about, as was Magenta, and she wanted me to know. That's all. Also, I'm NOT a part of any clique, nor do I attack people. I was defending myself, and others here were attacking both myself and Magenta. If you think I'm gonna lay down and take it, you're 1000% wrong. The content of the attack is on another thread by a user who left, but had requested men to PM her, which was just a front for what she REALLY wanted.. If that is the reason Magenta went beserk, which I saw and wondered about, then I am very sorry for her and anyone else involved in this other thread that I did not see.

BUT, you have yet to share how Magenta directed you to this thread? Was in a public post or a pm? Or did she phone you, or whatever? That is the crux of my issue! That she was recruiting people to come and defend her madness. You have to be a part of the clique, since you came running to her rescue! I was not attacking anyone I just want the truth to come out about the cliques in this forum (and there are many!) and that this thread is filled with vehement hate. People keep asking me to post something that showed hate, and I could really point to any of the posts certain people have made. For endless pages! And sadly, they think they are doing in the name of "educating" us as to the evils of Islam, as if we don't already know! But never an ounce of love, or partipating postively in how we can win Muslims to Christ!

Besides attacking Islam, which really has no purpose for Christians, because it won't bring Muslims to Christ, things were hysterical, with videos and memes and a lack of sources for supposed facts, and ganging up on people.

I won't even get into watching Magenta attack person after person with anger and verbal violence, because they didn't agree with her, for good reasons. And putting people on ignore. I am sincerely concerned about Magenta, I have never seen her go off the wall like this. I spent a good deal of time in prayer last night, because I don't see this as Magenta's normal behaviour. You, however Blue, are pretty typical, and that is who you are. I do agree sometimes a strong word I can be appropriate, but not battering, which is what Magenta is doing. So, maybe you can just be yourself, on these threads, and stop being a sheep and joining a gang intent on bullying people?

Anyway, I do hope some people, including you, can start thinking or at least reading about ways to win Muslims to Christ, instead of breaking down bridges and destroying any possibility of reaching the lost for Christ. An unsaved individual who came into CC posted his opinion on Muslims, based on living in a Muslim neighbourhood in England. Magenta attacked him so brutally I think he has permanently left the forum. I spent considerable time talking to him about Jesus and other things in pms, and Magenta just killed his desire to know Christ, with the most totally unChristian attack I have ever seen, in the early pages of this thread.

So yes, I am miffed about the horrible way Magenta has been acting on this thread, driving people away from Christ with her cruel vindictiveness! And how many Muslims will read this thread, and decide that if this is what Christianity is about, they want no part of it. Talk about evil and disobeying God!

Haha, yeah. I often like to bring that up to Muslims with these verses here that clearly tell us the Gospel is from allah, that Christians are to judge by it, and that no one can corrupt it-

Quran 5:47 "Let the people of the Gospel judge by what allah hath reveled therein. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) those who rebel."

Quran 3:3-4 "He has revealed to you the book with truth, verifying that which is before it, and he revealed the torah and the Gosple aforetime, a guidance for mankind, and he revealed the criterion."


Quran 18:27 "And recite what has been revealed to you of the book of your lord, there is none who can alter his words; and you shall not find any refuge besides him"

The new response Ive been getting is "that only refers to the real Gospel of Jesus", referring to an apparently vanished from the face of the earth Gospel of Jesus that said "worship allah" only before Paul came and rewrote the Gospel. They can take serious mental laps to justify that argument : p

It can be a pain to try and talk about this with them.

Angela, TODAY was my very first time commenting on this thread. I referenced a post with the question of how we're supposed to bring Muslims to Christ, when they (some) want to kill us. I still haven't been given an answer. I know you have a beef with Magenta, or seem to. But please don't drag me into it and accuse me of conspiring with her against you, because it isn't true.

Actually, unless this "directing" was done openly and publicly, it has everything to do with this thread! Magenta went to her friend, who she knew would back her into this thread, because she was beginning to lose the battle here. Calmer heads were beginning to worry her, I would say.

Now, Blue probably would have found the thread on her own, I have no doubt! But, just the idea that Magenta, the leader on this thread of hate mongering would be recruiting people to support her, really stinks of collusion. I do not believe I have ever sent a pm, or even posted publicly, if that is the case, for someone to come and support me on a thread that was a sinking ship.


I had no feud with either Blue or Magenta before this thread. I considered them my friends! I guess I won't be so trusting and open in the future. Being attacked and ganged up on is the definition of bullying! Bullying doesn't worry me at all! Fortunately, since it doesn't bother me, because I have God on my side! God is not the author of fear or confusion!

Seems to me like that is the essence of the opening statement of someone who is going to set people straight, as you always do, often with great truth! Who was talking about you? Second, I have posted over and over and over, testimonies, threads, books on how to witness to Muslims and you reply back with paranoia? Irrational fear is the definition of paranoia. I'm not talking mental illness, but ignorance. Because you have some ideas which are totally wrong!

I realize that there have been some terrible incidents in the US and Europe, and one in Canada where Jihadist have attacked and killed people, suiciding at the same time.

BUT, that is not how the majority of Muslims are. They are neighbours, they work with you (My husband worked with a Muslim from Libya for many years. He was basically a Muslim because he had been born and raised in a Muslim country, and never hurt a fly)

They are out to convert you, but they are not out to kill you! Have you ever actually talked to a Muslim? Have you ever had a Muslim friend? For our assignment in World Religions, we had to just talk to someone from another faith. Not win them to Christ, just talk to them. I honestly did not know anyone from any other faiths. So, he said I could go on-line. I went to a Muslim forum, told them I was a born again Christian, doing an assignment for seminary, and then began to talk with them. I was respectful, and didn't put down Mohammed, and I was just firm in my convictions. They threw the book at me, trying to convert me! They gave me video after video of women converts to Islam. I went into the subforums, and learned all kinds of things about Muslims that you can't get reading a book or watching a video. Like "Do you gain or lose weight on Ramadam?" Really? That is a worry or concern? Oh well, I guess Christians worry about overeating at Christmas, too!

My prof was delighted at my report, and what I learned. I also learned these people do vehemently believe in Islam, but that reading the riot act to them on first or even 10th meeting isn't going to win them to Christ.

And do not be afraid! That is in fact, my biggest issue with the turn this thread took, besides being a horrible witness to the lost - that it is fear mongering! You have stated here you are afraid of Muslims killing you. Magenta just fed into this fear so many people have! But God tells us to not be afraid! To fear not! Are you trusting your worldly fears, or God?

It is the Islam/Muslim thread in BDF. The one guy showed up right at the top of page 7, attacking me without preamble straight out of the gate. Then the other guy showed up yesterday, same thing, only he went on and on about how I denied saying something I freely admit to, it is right there in magenta and white, and still he pretends I act like I didn't say it, when I never denied it. Quite perplexing, really. He is completely disrespectful towards me and then expects me to think he is respectful, apparently He showed up on page nineteen again right away pretending he had never falsely accused me when that is pretty much all he does.

You have stated here you are afraid of Muslims killing you. Magenta just fed into this fear so many people have! But God tells us to not be afraid! To fear not! Are you trusting your worldly fears, or God?

Name one hateful thing I did please! Oh dear, there is that word "malice" that Grace777 uses every time someone proves him wrong. Not saying you got it from him, but it is suspicious to me.

I always get the word "slander" like when I mentioned his propagation of the heretic Osteen while decrying heretic hunters on this forum. For that I was accuse of slander, yet slander is to make a lying accusation, and nothing I stated was a lie.

But, when you spend all day on here making long posts perhaps you're beyond correction and have become a guru and little god...I don't know. I can see it though when one believes Osteen is preaching truth.
