Its taken a lot of family from me. Deaths and loss of relationship alike. Have you been able to share Jesus with him yet?

When he got out of prison after his third stretch (He's been in five times, now), he said he had become a Christian, but I really don't know. He never wants to discuss anything about God.

I've had similar heartbreak with family. Friends in prison seemed to find God only while incarcerated. Within a couple weeks out, its like they forgot Him. Addictions are amazingly powerful . Sorry about your brother Willie T .I know that its a hard reality to face. Amen for you Absolem ! Praise Jesus to have saved you.

So do you think he's just saying it to get you to lay off or to ease your conscience?

I honestly have no idea. His life has become one big lie, to the extent that I sometimes wonder if he even knows a lie from the truth any longer.

His conscience could be getting seared. You should pray for him.

Brother Hang in there! - God is right within you as you tackle these strongholds of Satan. God requires to be in front of you while you trust him to over come these strongholds. This, now, is His fight, so let Him stand against the enemy, so that you can stand against the enemy, as you become an affective Christ-like person able to use all the resources of the Kingdom of God..

At first, with God, its a struggle to transform from your dead life to your New Creation in Christ Jesus life. For a spell you probably have experienced the three steps forward two steps back routine. The Romans 7 experience...."The things I detest, those are the things I end up doing," stage of your walk in Christ - Right?!

I know you have even lately struggled with success. And I want you to know my prayers are with you in this journey with Jesus. know this: God is right there with you in spirit and He waits patiently for you to give up the fight to do good and to die to the right to yourself, then He can take over and you can follow His lead, now His lead brings all the real power in your life, because you must, by your volitional will, give your thoughts over to God. "I have been crucified with Christ - I am no longer alive - but Christ Jesus is living in me; and whatever life I have left in this failing body I live by the faithfulness of God's Son, the One who loves me and gave His body on the cross for me." Galatians 2:20 (Voice)

You will have to realize that you were on that Cross with Jesus in the death of your flesh, and now the only life of hope is to surrender it all to the born again, Spirit-filled lifestyle. And I know how, at first, it seems like everything that is changing in you is too much of a sacrifice, but trust me its not only a fair trade, its an upgrade.

You see Jesus thru the Holy Spirit will transform your mind and thinking, and His revelations of truth will start popping off like popcorn, and you will have a ton of "Wow - really? Ok, I get it now!!" Moments. And when you actually behaviorally give God those strongholds and commit to stopping, God's power will step in and be who He is....the victor, and your Abba Father. So, I get where you are in your journey, in part I've been there done that! Not all of that but in part.....

God will continue to wrought you out and He will always be right there within to be your guide. Rest in the things already accomplished in Christ Jesus, and then walk and do what He makes clear for you to do...if you do your life will end up a miracle seriously!. I look forward to your testimony down the road. Be patient with yourself, but get to practicing your death to self and God will possess you; and move you onward and upward transforming you into a Holy man, capable of living the life of Christ successfully.

He has all the resources to do it, so just trust that He had planned your future from before you were born. Trust Him in every battle and watch Him get you to a point where you are so restful and confident in Christ, that Satan has to flee from you, because Jesus has won, and it is finished, and now , at that moment, Jesus is fighting your battle for you. Awesome right!. Now, Satan ain't going anywhere, he will go into the shadows and when the moment is right he will return to you to get you off that Christ-like success story position, so he can over power you in an attempt to devour you and destroy you and kill you once more. trying to get you in a position of a one-on-one fight with just you & him. Don't let that happen! Ever! So, this new life you live in the spirit, is an eternal walk in Christ. Adjust yourself to accept that.

we all 'used to smoke meth' of some kind, 'before our conversion', and maybe a little while after;
while our 'new lives for Christ were just beginning to blossom and grow',
we slowly, day by day begin to realize just what our Father is really delivering us from...(God-Forbid)...

and of course, we will always feel a Love to give back in our gratefulness, to give, walk, preach, share, -
'what-ever it takes', to help all others that He puts in our paths, what we must do in order to learn/teach,
how to 'OVER-COME' and humbly begin to learn how to put-on the 'New-Man...

I currently live with my uncle that does meth. He thankfully is not an everyday user or anything, but he does every other week. Its one of the hardest things I've had to witness. It's especially hard when he is still in the phase where he thinks that he doesn't have a problem. I don't know how to help in the slightest besides praying for him and watching over him in his wake hours to make sure he doesn't drive while high and drunk. I pray for any people who are addicted or have to help someone who is addicted. Strength to you.

Do you feel really guilty when you come down?
Anyway remember when you sin the mind tortures itself.

SO many people are in denial of the damage that drugs do, and actually support them which lead to broken families, broken homes, poverty and trouble. I hope your uncle gets better and gets through this, and that he stops doing it.

I pray for your family and your situation, that he will stop doing it, and that he will get better, also that you will be ok going through seeing him like this too.

May Surprisingly, the song "Deathamphetamine" By the band Exodus give you strength in times of weakness. Lyrics: Life spent with lips on glassAnother hit, just one more blast
How long can you make it last?
Hit the pipe and vaporize
Feel the rush, so energized
Your longs being to crystallize
Try to stem the tide
From another five day ride
Don't you know your dead inside?
The world spins out of control
All amped up, nowhere to go
A glass house is all you know

Poison cloud hangs in the air
Breathe it deep, your only care
It's a nightmare, not a dream
Deathamphetamine!

Spun and sleep deprived
The calendar burns before your eyes
Another hit, for now revived
So many sleepless nights
Only whet your appetite
Strike a match, the torch ignites
See the shards start cracking back
Watch them turn your world to black
While waiting for the heart attack
All your dreams are dead and gone
I tell you now, it won't be long
Before death ends this marathon

Poison cloud hangs in the air
Breathe it deep, your only care
It's a nightmare, not a dream
Deathamphetamine!

Withered and sucked up
You're wasting away
Eyes sunken deep in your skull
You care not about yourself
Nor any other
Only if the pipe is full
Lick your lips
As you hover around the glass
Anxiously awaiting your turn
Depressed and paranoid
It's all gone to hell
Inhale as your world burns

Lost everything you own
Now waiting by the telephone
For the dope man to come home
All your friends and family
Are sickened by your need for speed
Only driven to exceed
So many years, so little time
For you to halt your life's decline
You've got to read the signs
Everything has come unwound
You've got to turn this shit around
Before you're six feet underground

Poison cloud hangs in the air
Breathe it deep, your only care
It's a nightmare, not a dream
Deathamphetamine!
