Death in Adam, Life in Christ
12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned---13 for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law.14 Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.
15 But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many.16 And the free gift is not like the result of that one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification.17 For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
18 Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.19 For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous.20 Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,21 so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

He isn't.....

There are none righteous either but consider this verse:

Luke 5:32
I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Luke 5:32
I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
He said God doesn't save the GOOD, there are none GOOD that arminianism, so he's saying there are good people that God would not save. Psalm 10:3-4 “For the wicked boasts of the desires of his soul, and the one greedy for gain curses and renounces the Lord. 4 In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him; all his thoughts are, “There is no God.”

He isn't saying that any more than Jesus was saying people are righteous in Luke. They are using juxtaposition to prove a point.

The overall view is that those who think they are righteous won't be saved because they have no reason for a savior. The ones who are self-righteous or "good" are actually wicked. It's meant to prove a point.

if you print a lie , then you start the quarrel, you either have context or you don t. if you have no proof, then fine it. and then quote it. that why some who think they have authority have none. gal 5 v1-4.

if you have no context to the bible , then read and have a look at acts 15.
and why they had the meeting in the first place.(acts 15)
stop that verse making you look like a foolish servent.

and ask, why are you not banning that code from you claim there is not a rome 5 in the bible either.

I can never understand your posts, so I apologize, but here is some context. In context Jesus is refuting the self-righteous Pharisees. He isn't claiming anyone is actually righteous of their own merit.

27 After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. “Follow me,” Jesus said to him, 28 and Levi got up, left everything and followed him.

29 Then Levi held a great banquet for Jesus at his house, and a large crowd of tax collectors and others were eating with them. 30 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”

31 Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

I think you dunno what I'm saying either. All good.

You are actually misusing scripture. The one act of righteousness that led to life was the perfect life of Christ and his perfect sacrifice on our behalf. Our own supposed righteousness cannot save us.

An unbeliever's own righteousness cannot save them.

A Christian's righteousness is not their own, it comes from God.

Philippians 3
7 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in[a] Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.

Philippians 2
12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

Because I'm trying to understand. There is a chance we actually agree.
you quoted scripture in the gospel , about a pharisee, and salvation was never gave to any jewish person at that time, because they broke away and became what we know as christain. and it was at pentecoste salvation was realized and with out pauls teachings or books . we would still be in the dark ages

Jews were saved since day one through faith just as we are.

I'm not sure how this is relevant to the discussion though.

Edit:

Wait, maybe it does. Are you saying Jews before Pentecost were saved by works/human righteousness?

Edit:

Or are you saying no Jews were ever saved until Pentecost?

I'm a bit confused

i agree in part.

the other part, is were we born into a new covenant or a old covenant. But the free gift is not like the trespass. or condemn the world. tells or asks who could destroy the world.

saved through him , tells of more that one thing being saved or fixed to ie stop someone from condemning the world. we already know he fixed adams wrong. we already agree on salvation come from no other but through jesus christ. the point ,more that one thing is being fixed or preventing someone trying to destroy the world.

and if sin was fixed the salvation is the message for today, not your a sinner. etc

For God So Loved the World
16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.17 For God did not send his Son into the world tocondemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him

I kinda see what you're saying now, but I don't agree.

Sin is still an issue. Jesus' death didn't fix that for the world. He is our escape from the condemnation of sin by grace through faith and the free gift of salvation through his life, death, burial, and resurrection. People are still bad. People are still evil. The world is still corrupted and in a fallen state.

Jesus didn't condemn the world while he was here. That wasn't his purpose. His purpose was to be a sacrifice on our behalf once and for all.

The message is still, you are a sinner in need of the saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you divorce sin from the gospel, you have a false gospel.
