Your a joke FRAN....You make snide, insulting remarks and accusations in a very subtle way and then get offended when someone gives it back.....

The only things that offend me on here, is when someone tells me that I don't have enough faith or belief to get healed, and when I am called demon possessed because I have epileptic seizures.. :/ Oh and when someone says "let's burn the bug" like EG and Bruce did yesterday..
LOL jk.. I don't like the words "burn" or "swat".. lolIgnore the trolls, it's hard and I get it too. It gets you angry when people are nasty and post nasty comments and sarcastic comments in reply to you. I know it's hard, it makes me angry too. But the best thing is to just ignore, and if they act like idiots and say nasty stuff. Just put them on your ignore list.
Also look at your own life, you're comfortable, you're happy. You are in a MUCH better position than SO many people both on this forum and in this world are. Don't let them take away your happiness or joy from life. Be happy, as you are.
Funny....Most "Christians" today would flip, have heart attacks and mouth John, Jesus, Paul, the prophets etc. if they had to hear what the named ones in this post said during their day.....
Imagine....Have not I chosen you 12 and one of you is a devil.......Most in churches today would be offended and leave immediately and go down the road to the next church only to be offended because the preacher did not shake their hand that day or the choir director led in Amazing Grace instead of I'll Fly Away.....or maybe SISTER Bertha better than thou did not bring Hot Dogs for pot luck.......

I admit, I do sometimes post sarcastic comments, when something has already winded me up or when I am not in the mood and am forced to give an opinion.
You just have to ignore, you'll always have people who post insulting stuff online. Negative stuff might be happening in their lives to make them give the sarcy remarks, or they might be drunk or something. you just gotta do 3 things:

- Learn to ignore
- Not let it get you down - look at your own life and how stuff are, if they are normal, just compare it to some people. You're MUCH better off than some people are, so why should you let them get you down?
- Learn to not care, who are they anyway? some saddo off the internet who's dissing you cos they have nothing better to do? That's just sad

My options would be.(by options I mean list of things I would systematically do when faced with conflict)
1. Pray for them and whatever their problem might be
2. Pray for me and my understanding to be true and from God and not my hurt emotions.
3. Forgive them for hurting me
4. Ask their forgiveness of I misunderstand them
5. Ask if their is something in their life that is making them kind of sharp and unChristlike and if we can pray together
6. Love them even if they tell me to go shove it
7. Pray some more
Am I strange for doing that?
I haven't learnt to ignore, not let it get me down,or not care.
I care so much and it bothers me enough to take it to the foot of the cross and ask Dad for help.

Sarcasm is biblical....Elijah and the prophets of Baal.....John the Baptist, Jesus, Paul all spoke very hard things to believers and non-believers alike......and like I said...I have been on here like 4.5 years almost...I have taken mouthy comments, snide remarks, had my salvation judged, been called names, etc. and In all that time I have not quit, threatened to quit and have only blocked one person and only reported two times and one of those was a dude posting porn.....We are sliding into a time period that no flesh will survive if Jesus does not step in when he does....if we cannot deal with a little heat and sarcasm on a web site from our living rooms we are in trouble....!
That's true, and that's a problem we as society are facing today. People get offended too easily. it's like you said, if people cannot deal with a little heat and sarcasm on a website from our own living rooms, (from people who we don't even know and may never even come in contact with), then YES we are in trouble. And SO MANY of this generation and people today ARE offended this way. Just read these last 2 or 3 pages on this thread alone, and you'll find a lot who have been offended. And that is ONLY 3 pages of a single thread on this site!
The amount of people who can't handle it is ridicilous, and yes, it's like you said, they Are in trouble if they cannot even handle that. If they cannot handle that, how can they handle any situation in their lives.
