Amen i lived that way for so long trying to honor God but ignored the scriptures i didnt like.
It took God to directly speak to me on a backroad driving home in the middle of night while in prayer.
God made it ever so evident i had to choices to continue in lukewarm, or give God all of me.
I can never forget that night and how my heart was torn open and my eyes filled with spiritual awareness.

I dont have the gift to speak in tongues. My southern slang is hard enough for people to understand who never grew up down here.
Just because you don't today...doesn't mean you won't tomorrow. Ask...He will fill your mouth...I think there is scripture for this...like, open your mouth wide and He will fill. Not sure where.
I dont remember that scripture. I just remember spiritual gifts being distributed as we gain the Spirit. And everyone gets specific gifts. And no one gets all the same gifts.
That why i see tongues as a spiritual gift distributed to some not all.

The seeds have been sown, The types of ground it has landed on determines it's growth. whether it lives, or die.
Everything you measure will be measured back to you the same. not just tithing. if tithing is the only way out of a problem, then that makes Jesus words that seek ye the kingdom first and all these things will be added unto you "VOID".
