No Americans as far as I know.
America did provide money for the UK, which I assume was sorely needed.
Basically America kept in the background until the end, then got to take part of the glory for a final effort :p
How many American men died on D-day? After WWI why didn't Europe keep an eye on Germany and prepare to defend themselves when they saw Germany preparing for war?

Because Europe was and still is naive and thinks nothing bad will ever happen?

Unpopular opinion but it's true Jesus’ only message was to love. To conduct every act with love for everyone around you. I realized many churches do everything but this. Instead of acceptance and love, they offer condemnation and hate for anyone who chooses not to play their game. Fine if you don't agree with something especially if it's not in the bible but constantly looking like the villains to other people is not the right thing to do. We're supposed to be the light of the world and treat everyone with love, not just spout hate when you disagree with something. This is what turns off many people from Christianity

Okay, okay you said you weren't happy....what happened??
Taking things too personal, and with my OCD didn't end well. So only had 1 lesson supposed to be in college today (this lesson is a different qualification to the main course which I'm taking). I didn't go in cos we only had that lesson (one), and the proper main course lesson had been cancelled cos the teacher was ill. We were only supposed to have those 2 lessons this afternoon. (and the proper course lesson was cancelled, so only 1 lesson for this pointless qualification).

And I have to travel to college an hour on a bus, and after 2:30pm, I'd have nothing to do except for wait in college until 4:30pm for the bus home cos I already finished all my main subject work. Have nothing to do.

Noone cares about this extra qualification because it isn't recognised, it's rubbish. It's some points scheme to get extra points to get into unis (but most unis don't recognise them). My unis that I have picked don't recognise them, and it's nothing to do with my main subject, and a complete different qualification. So is just pointless, irrelevant and a waste of time for me. Just a distraction from my main subjects which actually matter.

When the teacher of this pointless additional qualification emailed me earlier to ask why I hadn't gone in. I just took it too personal and just lost it tbh. Thinking she had something against me cos she HAS had stuff against me in the past. But now I realise I just took it too personal and shouldn't be angry. Like if you don't go to the lesson, the teacher will email asking where you are.

The reason I didn't go in is because it's an irrelevant qualification which is just a waste of time and is a distraction from the courses I'm doing that actually matter. Plus, go in all that way for just one lesson? with nothing to do stuck in college for the rest of the whole day until 4:30pm. I probably should just talk to my tutor and main lecturer about it when she gets better and is back in college.

America liberated France and Europe and pushed the germans back to Germany. They also pushed the japanese back to Japan (by taking Okinawa) and then dropped the bomb on their 2 cities which ended the war. The english and canadians and a few other countries helped some in Europe but the biggest force was the americans. In the pacific it was just the US navy and marines, no help from others as far as I know. The US was in the war from 1941-1945. The war began in 1939.
Helping you get your facts straight...

The military history of Canada during the Second World War begins with the German invasion of Poland on 1 September 1939. While the Canadian Armed Forces were eventually active in nearly every theatre of war, most combat was centred in Italy, Northwestern Europe, and the North Atlantic. Over the course of the war, more than 1.1 million Canadians served in the Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Navy, Royal Canadian Air Force, and in forces across the Commonwealth. More than 44,000 lost their lives and 54,000 were wounded. The financial cost was $21.8 billion between 1939 and 1950. By the end of the war Canada had the world's fourth largest air force, and fifth largest navy. The Canadian Merchant Navy completed over 25,000 voyages across the Atlantic, 130,000 Allied pilots were trained in Canada in the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. On D-Day, 6 June 1944 the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division landed on "Juno" beach in Normandy, in conjunction with allied forces. The Second World War had significant cultural, political and economic effects on Canada, including the conscription crisis in 1944 which affected unity between francophones and anglophones. The war effort strengthened the Canadian economy and furthered Canada's global position. from wiki

Yet you complain bitterly about those who wish to raise the awareness of others to the threats.
That is because I can differentiate between a government and individuals
I not think that all Muslims in Norway are potential terrorists like you do.

If Norway ends up in a war it will not be with Muslims, but with atheist Russia

Well, I am sorry to hear that. Over my years of struggling with anxiety I have come to the realization to let go and let God. It's no use trying to control a situation we should not have any control over. If it's okay I will keep you in prayer and turn an ear to Jesus, he is our rock in times like this :)

I very much doubt you could show where I have said anything to the effect that all Muslims in Norway are potential terrorists. You know, your statement just looks like a lie to me, but I suppose I will just have to get used to your blatant hypocrisy.

Thank you :) and you're right, it's Jesus that we should turn to when we feel like this. Thank you for the prayer and for reminding me :)

Let go and let God is what we should do. But it's SO hard. It's SO hard to just let go, not be in control of situations. I know that Jesus will handle the situation MUCH better than we could, but just being used to it, and not used to letting stuff go. Makes it hard, but you're right, it's what we should do.

Thanks Reg and Tommy. It seems obvious that some people want to have their cake and eat it too! wwjd calls Muslims evil nut cases but then hypocritically and FALSELY accuses me of calling Muslims evil, and now falsely accusing me of things I think, as if she would know, since she does not ask but just assumes she knows, and then pretends her delusions are facts. Like another member who goes around in several areas of the site, talking against Islam, saying we need to speak out, but when people do? My goodness, she was all over me, accusing me and another member who happened to agree with me of all manner of things, and completely fabricating stories and claiming they were true! It is disgusting.
