Just need to get rid of Theresa May now with the divisive snap election she has called here in the UK.

If she wins, I really will start to believe that God is not in the UK. I love Europeans, they always seem a lot warmer than the general English population. Where there is money there is selfishness, where there is self-importance, God is pushed out over Government acting as God, stripping away human rights and encroaching on the right to privacy, and who suffers but the poor. Less equality, more of a gap between the poor and the privileged.

One thing I learned is that France is now a member of NATO.

Years, and way back many years ago they were part of NATO when it was first established. Then the Socialists took control of the French Government, and they left NATO. I guess they came back when the European Union was formed?

The entire time I was in Europe, for an American Soldier to travel in France, they had to have SPECIAL ORDERS to do so, and COULD NOT wear their Uniform.

I will say that I traveled around France quite a lot, and what I learned back then was that the French Government hated America and American Soldiers, BUT the French people (outside of Paris--which isn't really France) LOVED America and American Soldiers!

Anyone who has ever visited the vast graveyards on the West Coast of France will know this. Many of them are solely cared for and kept by French citizens on a volunteer basis. The red poppies that grow there are beautiful and are said to get their red color from the blood spilled on those lands.

Anyway.........

Having to reply to your own post says a lot. In June last year there was a Democratic vote on European membership and the majority of us voted to leave. Ever since then there has been a conspiracy to prevent this from going ahead. That conspiracy has not been hatched by the poor who by and large voted to leave but by the very people you claim are making them suffer, the liberal elite of Britain many who have been making a fortune for themselves in Europe for the last forty plus years

The Conservative Party is the only option we have unless we want a Marxist running the Country who cant even control his own Party. If you want to blame anyone for the present political situation blame him and his predecessor plus the labour party membership who keep voting for him to be leader.

My military ID card got me in and out several times. I always found the people friendly. We always had fun trying to communicate with my attempts to speak (slaughter) French. They usually gave up on me and settled on English. It was a lot of fun.

Marine Le Pen!

(Thought that was just to obvious to have to explain it!)
Well, if I didn't ask I would have to assume and you know what that does. Better safe than sorry. You can get off your high horse now, it was just a question :)

I don't know if it's true, but......

Years ago, France was at war with England. An English soldier laid mortally wounded on the battlefield. A French officer asked the English soldier "Why does the English wear red coats?" The English soldier replied "So the other soldiers wont see us bleeding." Ever since, the French Army has worn brown pants.

Yeah, they teach their children when getting dressed... yellow in the front and brown in the back
