Is this saying that they must do something in order to be saved? Yes, sort of. They are not finished wallowing in the pig pen. They have not noticed, yet, that the servants in their Fathers House eat better and are clothed better and have better living conditions than those who have chosen their own path with their own free will...

Its not saying that they will contribute to the Works of Salvation. Its saying that the Holy Spirit has not brought it to their attention, yet. Because it is all in Gods Timing.

If one is walking in true faith, good works (baring fruit) is ALWAYS the result. If no fruit is being produced, that shows they are not walking in the kind of faith God accepts.

Those that are actually saved will automatically walk in good works that we are ordained to walk in as this is fruit into righteousness and evidence that we are saved.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.






Christians should grow and mature to the point that they are continually being led by the Spirit and no longer struggle with the sin that used to throw them off track which everyone has had in their lives.

This does not mean you are perfect literally as their are always things we do that are not absolute perfection... but that does not mean we cannot overcome and live above the sin that we used stumble over.

The Lord desires for His people to mature and quit practicing sin. Those that practice sin (it's a part of their lifestyle) shall not inherit the Kingdom of God according to Romans 8 among others.

I disagree here, Romans 1 says everyone knows. they hide it in their heart and in their sin.

Yes God draws people.. But most people ar drawn after they react to the HS and start seeking,,

God knows all people. He knows what it will take to get people to believe in him, and he knows those, who no matter what he does, they will never come to him, "IE", they have blinded themselves so much, nothing will convince them to repent)

No Calvinist expresses this attitude. We are grateful He chose us because we know we'd never chose Him. We were just as reserving of hell, as there was nothing in us worthy of even a second glance from God.

You guys wanna believe we hold to an elitist attitude, but we don't. That's why we can't have honest debates with non-Cals because they continually tell lies on us and misrepresent our position(S).

No one wanted to calmly answer my questions.I was trying to understand what they were saying and when I questioned I was lying on people and putting words in their mouths.I shared Scripture and no one either would or could explain those verses to me. It was a free for all,more so than usual. It was hateful. And still none of my questions were answered.Im still in the dark and them Im told Im too stupid to get it,I hate Scripture and I twisted verses,when all I did was post them directly out of the Bible and asked for explanation.It was unbelievable.Never in my life saw so much animosity except when talking about Jews.smh. Horrid.

don't think I was ever snarky with you nor have I accused you of lying. Unfortunately there are some here who do just that, but I'm not going to go back and forth over that or hurt feelings. We should hold people accountable when they do those things no matter which "camp" they belong to.

That right there. It is unfortunately folks like him, lonerstar and a few others who go into attack mode and lie about others statements. Just ignore them. There are plenty of good nice folks here to dialog with.
