I think if its coz God chooses us... then you mujst believe in predestionation am i right...?
Hi thanks for the reply and opportunity to express my opinion/. Sorry for the length
I believe
as many (not one more or less) that the Father has given the Son will come and those who do come he will in no wise cast out. Those whose names are written in the Lambs book of life, from the foundation of the world will come.
I cant see this coz for me it has to come from the sinner...no because the Jew where chosen does not mean we all are..
Jews are the same kind of sinners as Gentiles.
God who is no respecter of person’s (Act 10:34) puts no difference between a Jew and a Gentile purifying both hearts and gives a new spirit that will never die, by a work of His faith labor of His love, (Act 15:9)
Names to include the new name, Christian chosen by God hold a particular significance in the Bible. Those words would be an integral part aiding in the rightly dividing the word of God as a way of following the commandment… to study in order to seek His approval.
I have been looking and I believe as of today he speaks of that new name He named us in Acts, Christian, beforehand in Isaiah. The description seems to fit perfectly and came about because of the first century reformation, when the veil was rent, signaling the end of Old Testament government. The beginning of the end times, Christ had come, the shadows and types disappeared.
For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. And the
Gentiles shall see thy righteousness,
and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a
new name, which the
mouth of the LORD shall name. . Isa 62:1
Christian is the promised new named God decided to name His bride the church. Before that he called those born again in respect to the inward spirit and not of the flesh outward, Jews or Israel.( Rom 2:29) a distinction
must be made if we are to rightly divide His truth . He also informs us, I believe in another way all Israel is not Israel (Rom 9:6) again a division between that seen (the flesh) and that not seen, the new born again spirit .must be distinguished.
I believe the Holy Spirit has given us a prescription to help us to rightly divide His words of truth so that we might walk by the faith of Christ, that comes from hearing God and not our own thoughts coming from the imaginations of our own hearts
Co 4:18 While we look
not at the things which
are seen, but at
the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen
are “temporal”; but the things which are not seen
are “eternal”.
But also it would still be a works to believe the voice..when your chosen if you are chosen.
I would agree believing is a work that God performs working in us.. It is the work of God that we believe Him( Joh 6:29).And those who believe not (no faith) natural man they do not make the faith of God without effect (Rom 3:3) the effect of the work of His faith that he freely gives to us as our new faith, .again is not of our own selves,. but is imputed to us by His grace
1Peter 1:9
Receiving the
end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
This is the end of our new faith that again comes from hearing God, as Christ in us, the living hope of His glory
He does the work of calling, drawing, in the end of the matter .it is the work of Christ in God that we
can believe, Him and not that of our own selves coming from the imaginations of our own hearts as in natural man with out the Spirit of Chrsit..
Yes it would be a work as the voice of faith in respect to the faith of Christ calling “come to me those who are weary I will give you rest
Today if we would hear his voice and not harden our hearts…. we resting in his Sabbath created for man .
Salvation is a work; we are saved by works but not of our own self (the imaginations of ones own heart). But rather by the work of Christ’s faith as a labor of his love.
Those who believe not do not make the work of the faith of God without effect (work) (Rom 3:3)
