I'm in a double bed with my sister, and it has been getting more and more difficult for me to be able to actually sleep! She's quite...active in her sleep. She does everything but dance a jig, in fact ;). Usually, she doesn't injure me at all but she flops on top of me enough to make sleeping difficult. Because of the situation with my aging parents, I doubt I'll be moving out any time soon, and there is no room for another bed. So...suggestions, anyone? :)

When we visited my parents, all they had was a double bed. My wife is 5'-11' and I am 6'-5". I slept on the floor.

Bunk beds?
Failing that slip a tranquilliser into your sisters cocoa.
The bed is already a bunk bed (single on top, double on bottom). But a tranquilizer sounds perfect ;)

Hi Tinuviel,

So sorry to hear that! How about a mattress on the floor?

Maybe something like this? https://www.amazon.com/Sleep-Master...tt-20&linkId=70c0af82eeee307ffa71eb89f23c84af

A roll away bed?

All of those sound good...I might have to look into something like that! Permanent furniture doesn't work, but something you can fold up and put away might be an option.

Yeah like a sleeping bag would be good.

Thank you for your suggestion! As I said in the OP, I don't think that will happen soon because of the situation I'm currently in. We recently got an extremely comfortable couch though, and (being short), I've been sleeping there on nights when she gets the urge to dance in her sleep :p.

You could start peeing in the bed..... get her to move.
