It might have been different from you friend, but that was enough for me to stay way from him. I have seen this pattern with others. I do not judge RHB, it was our opinion and what we felt the spirit led us away from.

Your leading an experience is yours and different, I do not break fellowship with others based on that.
No problem.

They ran his brother out of brownsville church before we got there, and they bragged on it for years.

Conversely, Dave Wilkerson slamed the Brownsville revival for years. Don,(Daves brother) was a regular there, and it took Don almost a year to convince Dave that the Brownsville revival was indeed genuine.

Historically the azusa street revival was vehemently attaccked by R A Torrey, a true man of God.

Conclusion. Even genuine men of God attack what God is doing sometimes.

I do not follow Joyce Meyer or her teachings, continually baiting me and badgering me with your opinion is going to go nowhere.
Jut because you think she is a heretic, does not mean I do, especially since I have never heard her speak or teach.

I do not make opinions based on people posting videos and comments with agendas and motives based on their own version of the truth.

My comments on MacArthur & Rodney Howard Brown are based on actual experience and exposure to each man, not based on agreement with someone with a religious axe to grind or doctrine based agenda that bullies & controls people into conforming to their own view of the truth.

Bullying and controlling people to see your own version of the truth is spiritual witchcraft.

My, my, we seem to "have it all together", yes?

FYI, before I post such things, I do my own research.

Now, if you researched something & posted it, would you call it "your own version of the truth?

And what would you say if someone else called it that?

Don't even think you're good enough to project yourself on me & start a fight with me just like that!

Better get some experience under your belt before acting like

Hi Popeye, Yes they all say the same thing, I did not believe UNTIL I experienced it. Dumb, dumb, dumb, there is an anointing not of God, just because you get a high from a spiritual anointing is NOT evidence that it was God. Jesus told of people who would do great things in His name, yet He would say to them I NEVER knew you. Never, never, never, means NEVER, they were operating under an anointing that was NOT THE SPIRIT OF GOD, if they had been anointed by the Spirit of God then Jesus could not have said NEVER KNEW YOU. Jesus spoke of false anointing and it is in the Pentecostal charismatic movement full blown. Enjoy your false spirits while you can, one day they will get tired of you and do what they did with another notable person involved in such things.
Samson destroys your deal.

As does David and his horrible sin.

You have to have the UNDERSTANDING to separate the man from the anointing.

Again, you have not a clue in a million what you are talking about.

And BTW,Saul had a true, absolutely true ,anointing from God,but represented false leadership.

Yes, exactly correct, taught to see the error by the Holy Spirit and the Word.
You can pull that smugness to the un-initiated, but not me. I was you growing up and for a long time afterwards.

I know every talking point and defense of the faith. You are not fooling me in the least bit, nor are any of your fellow brothers.

Speaking of 2 sides of the coin. Here is Dr. Michael Brown speaking about John McArthur's take on the things of the Spirit and his "strange fire" beliefs.

I never thought I would see the day g7 using Michael Brown in defence of Bethel.
After hearing from many believers, the spirit running through services etc. was not
easy to distinguish, but its fruit was odd sensations and behaviours and nothing that
led to godliness or a deeper experience of the Lord.

And the teaching appears to be rather than going deep into love and holiness, it is
this emotional euphoria, or drunkeness, which is the same as getting drunk. When did
getting drunk mean anything or was helpful.

I think the Lord is giving people what they want and showing them where it leads.
Nowhere. The Lord has always been with us, having some spiritual feeling or whatever
does not make this reality more real or true. You reap what you sow, so let us so to
life and love, to walking in His ways to we reap eternal life and not death.

Still waiting on proof of MacArthur's heresy. Rodney Brown can be shown pretty easily to be a heretic in light of scripture. All we've got so far on MacArthur are unsubstantiated opinions. Show us his heresy so we can examine it against scripture.

Seems to me another moniker has been added to join the WoF gang. Fairly new moniker, took right up on these issues.

So, when you claim superior knowledge and leadership, it's all good. And when those who are on solid ground, offer documentation, and request documentation, they're "smug." Yes, you're good at slander and name calling. BUT, you're super spiritual and led by God.

Gotcha. ;)

Sorry, you were never like me. I'm abiding in the truth since the beginning. Also, one other huge difference is that I will provide documentation for what I assert.

You on the other hand provide none because you have none.

Another issue is when you are shown evidence you bob, weave, slander and deny the truth put right in front of your face. :)

IMO this is done purposely to one way or another destroy the church.
1. All these people "arrive" to purposely change the worship & quench the true Spirit in the church. They may not know themselves what's going on, but the evil spirit that leads them does. When they have a "majority", they vote in permanent changes to the church, taking it over.

2. If they don't get a majority & take it over, then they'll all leave at once while criticizing & condemning the church in the public sector.

Either way, they will try to destroy it.

kaylagirl, Is this what they did in your church? I would like to get a confirm on this if it is the way they did it or not.

Yes,that is absolutely what happened!

How can one be operating under the spirit of error when they are magnifying the Lord Samuel?

Makes no sense.

That's hysterical man! You are telling me that I should accept your own documentation as complete truth and evidence.
The trouble is your version of the truth may not be. I do not make judgments on people I ahve never heard teach or preach from a video with a motive and agenda.

Oh we are slanderous and name calling  Your fruit is not truth seeking or defending the faith, it is a self proclaimed mandate to seek out heretics and because you cower and cover yourself with scriptures taken out context you feel it gives you a complete and utter pass and justifies all the slandering you and your brothers have done.

Jesus defined those that use knowledge of doctrine and religion to justify their amoral behavior and then call it divine. Jesus called them vipers and snakes.

Yes,that is absolutely what happened!
Here's the thing..... brace yourself, cuz we're jumping headlong into the conspiracy zone.

For the Antichrist to have the world handed to him, He has to have three things prepared/taken over in advance: A concentration of power at the top of governments, industry, & the church.

Government wise we've seen this happen in the US govt., and in the European Union.

Big business is being concentrated into fewer & fewer hands by mergers, takeovers, buyouts, forming secret, huge monopolies.

Concentration of power is increasing in the tops of state & national offices in church denominations. Executive officers of boards are amassing power while sectional officers are now appointed, not voted on. The same is happening on national boards; executives are growing more powerful, while area representatives are quickly losing authority. What used to be done by board meetings are now handled by executive committees: the president/general overseer/bishop, the secretary/treasurer, & the national or state presbyter.

This power has to be consolidated to allow whole denominations to give allegiance to the Antichrist. This is currently being done in such plans to bring the RCC , Orthodox, Lutheran, & other churches back together under Catholicism.

Another method used is the rise of the megachurch, killing off small churches that won't change to liberal views. Leaders in megachurches are using their authority & political power to control national church boards.

A good example is the Presbyterian Church USA. For years now they have been stealing properties from their churches who want to withdraw from them due to their Nat'l board's changing their by-laws to allow homosexual membership & ministers. They've spent millions of dollars suing these congregations & taking everything they have.

Still waiting on proof of MacArthur's heresy. Rodney Brown can be shown pretty easily to be a heretic in light of scripture. All we've got so far on MacArthur are unsubstantiated opinions. Show us his heresy so we can examine it against scripture.

first of all, no one called MacArthur a heretic that I am aware of. he has some skewed teaching which I'm documenting below.

it should also be noted that MacArthur is a 5 point Calvinist. that alone will result in differences in belief but does not create heresy. heresy would include not believing in the Trinity or stating Jesus is not God or there are other ways to be saved apart from what God states (in scripture). If someone is going to say they are a Christian and they reject the absolute core beliefs of what Christians agree a Christian is, then that is what is referred to as heresy.

1) MacArthur teaches that salvation is based on the life a believer lives. This is in direct contrast to scripture and known as Lordship Salvation. (there was another thread started some time back in which a Steve Lawson was posted. He is another Lordship Salvation proponent) The Bible plainly teaches that salvation is not based on how we live but on the finished work of Christ as per Romans 5:15, 6:23 and many other portions. You either believe Christ is the perfect atonement for sins or you do not and if you do not, then you are in CONTRADICTION to the word of God.

Ephesians 2:8-10, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: NOT OF WORKS , lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Lordship Salvation teaches that you must REPENT as a separate act PRIOR to accepting Christ and if you do not, then you are not truly saved. Thing is, the word repent in scripture does not mean to be sorry for your sins and pour ashes on your head. What it does mean, is to CHANGE YOUR MIND. So, if you are living a sinful life without Christ, you see your need for a Savior; the issue of sin is dealt with throughout a believer's life and if we do not wish to make God a liar, we agree with HIM, that we cannot offer a sinless life in propitiation for our own sins, but we are entirely dependent on the GRACE of God, which is FREE and cannot be improved upon by our efforts.

p4t presented both op's so unless he states otherwise, isn't it assured he is in fact a devotee of Lordship Salvation?

now I already presented an excellent article that points out the error(s) with Lordship Salvation in the thread on Lawson's preaching and I am linking to it in this post as well

we have had numerous posts with videos presented as 'evidence' of demonic distractions (not getting into it because I don't agree with the behavior anyway and I am pointing out the imbalance of swinging the pendulum the other way which is, I would hope a fair objection to the one sided presentations of certain members of this forum, not excluding the vitriol contained in so many of their posts and the less then objective responses, such as ignoring what people actually post and twisting what is said in order to make it seem those of us who do not adhere to their 'teachers' are well on our way to hell and not truly saved (which if one takes the time to study it, is the declaration of all true Lordship adherents to anyone who does not agree with their doctrine of Lordship Salvation)

HERE IS THE ARTICLE and if you do not take the time to read it, stop presenting videos, at no cost to you other than the time it takes to copy a web address and insert into the appropriate form provided by this forum, and tell us that we are not saved, are occupied by demons or have contributed to behavior unbecoming a follower of Christ and declared it the work of the Holy Spirit.

counter the article and counter why you think Lordship Salvation is correct without adding personal insult. prove yourselves as actually caring about others by holding intelligent conversation and posting more than a 'you are wrong and here is another video'

I will also post lessor known of MacArthur's teachings such as children cannot be saved as I have time

pretty sure you have enough to chew on with this one

note: some people believe Calvin was a heretic

I'm not calling anyone a heretic; if you are still alive, you can REPENT and agree with the word of God any time

Yeah only certain ones are using the term heretic. I find it rather hysterical, that I told them several times, ok so you posted a vid, that is not how I form opinions and they posted another, and another one. Like somehow I will buckle and concede that they are right.
