I'm late for doing this lol, but I joined here last year and have lately become a little more active in the forums. Anyways, I've been a Christ follower for 4 years. It's been a rocky relationship with God, but He's always been faithful and relentless in His pursuit of me. I hope that He will continue to work in me and use me to help others. Thank you! My daughter started quite young with Sailor Moon, and then Inuyasha, both of which I have watched with her, maybe not all of Sailor Moon, cuz it went on forever and ever haha and even Inuyasha was incredibly long and included a couple of movies, also. She taught herself Japanese as a result of her love of manga and anime What is your favorite show?

I've watched Sailor Moon when I was quite young myself. And yes, it did went on forever haha. I've never finished it as a result but I'm starting to feel nostalgic thinking about it, so I may plan to finish it one of these days. Have you and your daughter watched Sailor Moon Crystal? It's a remake from 2014 and it's a lot more fast paced because it follows the original manga plotline.

I have not seen Inuyasha yet. But I will on Netflix even though Netflix has only 2 seasons of it. I've heard there was more than that.

My favorite(and my mom's as well) is Ouran High School Host Club. And also Rurouni Kenshin.

I have not heard of Sailor Moon Crystal that I know of... though my daughter may have mentioned it to me. Rurouni Kenshin was excellent. We may have seen some of the High School Host Club. One of our faves was The Twelve Kingdoms, and also Hikaru no Go. I just watched the latter again by myself not too long ago, as well as Nana, which my daughter and I also liked very much. Another one we enjoyed was called Princess Tutu. We also watched a lot of Cardcaptor Sakura. Those last three were all very sweet stories., and so was Full Moon O Sagashite. Heh, just to mention a few! Some we started watching and then lost track of, or could not find any more of after a few episodes. Some others we watched: XXXHolic... The Vison of Escaphlone... Hunter X Hunter... Naruto (I got lost in that one )... Elfin Lied (a bit disturbing)... Death Note... and so many others... I am trying to remember some more of them... LOL so many years ago now! Almost without exception, we watched them subbed and not dubbed Here are some random anime themed images

yeah sailor moon I only watched the original series,technically had to because when I would visit my uncle's and aunt's house,that was the only cartoon they had for us kids to watch! hilarious yet creepy stuff with a hint of romance and bizarre circumstances,with such lines as,"hi meatball head"(still funny lol) "moon tiara magic" and just the talking by sailor moon was kinda cheesy yet funny because if you look at the first episode she says all the lines of stuff she doesn't even know about yet somehow says it perfectly to the camera,like when she throws the tiara for the first time,she doesn't just throw it,she has to proceed to talk about it with authority and go along with camera angles even though the first episode,she doesn't anything yet lol(thought that was ironic humor and I've found more cartoons similar in this ironic humor ) but anyways back to what I never seem to get tired of...welcoming new people to christian chat! Welcome,christ centered girl,here you can discuss with bible smart people such as myself,my friend magenta whom you've already met who is not only smart but has more kitty pictures than you can say awwwwww at(maybe lol not for sure about it) and many others who don't mind answering questions or simply chatting,I hope you like it here and will stay awhile!
