I hear what you are saying. To me it's given and we have to recieve it, but if a person does not know how to recieve it how would you counsel?

The person who refuses or the personing trying to give God's love to them?

The first I would listen to and understand why they don't trust and have faith in God and His goodness and love.

The second I would tell that God was patient we us, forgiving and understanding. We need to,show the same type of heavenly wisdom to those we seek to bring to know God and able truth.

i'll take this one, grace7, hope you don't mind. there is no contradictions between Jesus and Paul. Christ GAVE Paul the Gospel, to take to the gentiles, who never had the Law of Moses.

What extreme view is Dcon pushing? The one that says that works do not save us, keep us saved, or get us to heaven? That's the only view he CAN push, because it's God's Word.

Dcon calls them fools because that is what THE BIBLE calls them. It is foolish to believe that our works can get us to heaven. Especially when works don't save us to begin with. The name of the man who died on the cross is JESUS. His name is NOT "Works".. :/

You got that right....nothing but accusatory lies....and when one does that..we all know who leads them....NOT GOD! WE have consistently stated that works and fruit are the result of biblical salvation and the faith one already possesses in Christ and they contiually twist what we say, lie and embellish <---the works by the workers for....proves what sort of tree they really are!

dc - Who are you referring to when you talk about workers?

I wonder because you description of people lying, embellishing, twisting does not sound
to me like anyone I recognise on these threads. Where has all the love gone and grace?

He refers to anyone who believe you have to work to get or keep you salvation...do you qualify?

Or do you trust fully in Christ for your salvation and know that He will keep and transform you into the person He wants to to be for His Glory?

I hope I can make a simple logical point.

The proposition is if you gain the magic wand of salvation by gaining faith in Christ,
which can never be lost, how does behaviour link in with this?

If ones theology does not answer how love and behaviour are linked, ie you cannot
claim to love or know God if you do not love your brother and sister in Christ, salvation
is not a magic wand, but imbedded in who we are in Christ and where our hearts are aimed.

Now the value of a forum like this is to explore such questions, rather than say that group
over there are evil, while we are the sound good people. And if you cannot answer such
basic questions, are you here for the right reasons?

Your whole post sounds very unChrist-like. All anyone has to do to see your hatred, is look through your posts. On this thread, and the Catholicism thread in the Teens forum. You can't handle hearing the truth whatsoever, and you attack those who don't agree with your erroneous theologies..

Who cares if you got a lot of likes on your posts? We all get alot of likes. Likes and rep comments don't determine how smart or well-liked a person is.

We know you're going to staunchly defend the RCC, seeing as how you grew up catholic, and was a teacher for them, and unwisely believe their wacky doctrines. I pray God will open your eyes to their deception before it's too late..

Amen Blue....she consistently does unto others what she gripes and complains about......and she also mouths us behind the scenes....I had ONE of her friends pm me in her defense over one particular exchange we had.....so.........amazes me...the ones who push works and the ability to lose salvation seem to do things regularly that would cause them to lose salvation....thanks God for the security of the believer
