I agree...and sometimes....it is the way we interpret things that makes a difference too. It's a 2 way street there in that truth....:)

If you do not see it the way "I and my group" sees it - you are a heretic and a hater of God's word. You are a living example of having " itching ears"....and all the rest of that nonsense that goes with that mindset.

Yes, there is no objective truths and everything is subjective in our antinomian worldview. Just opinions and opinions of opinions. The bible never talks about any objective truths.

LOL!!! Yep! Wolves in fleece, they come up with the darndest things! "Look, I found a new truth! No, it isn't biblical, but Paul said we don't really know anything anyhow, so it's all up for grabs!"

it really is a two way street, alot of times both sides are actually seeing what isnt being said in the opposing sides words. i think if we carefully make sure we do understand whats being said, and consider " is this comment lacking completion? or are they simply making a point we arent currently focused on?" theres opportunity for both sides to blend together and find a much more complete understanding.

that being said its VERY important that we make sure were not outright denying the clarity of the Word of God, even if our current understanding, sort of isnt willing to accept the things we dont already have a good grasp on. we really can learn from one another, even if we are on opposite sides of a discussion.

Sorry for butting in Guys, just wanted to add the thought of "Love one another"

It's called feel good theology brother. The huge problem a persons feelings can change more often than my 17 year old daughter changes her clothes.

Welcome to "heretics row" for actually believing in the goodness of God. You and your assembly of believers that love the Lord are such heretics and have "itching ears"!

There is only one solution for you and your whole "obviously heretic church of believers in the love and grace of our loving Father for us".





Religion is so stupid!!!!! We all need to give our religious heads a shake and come out of the religious fog we are in by our church teachings and traditions.

Yes it dose . I just took her to the movies she changed three times before we went . I will give her one and say two times . One shirt I said no way Jose to and had her change. ( note to me find shirt and use it as shop towel ) .

I have to disagree with this.

I have worked with Sex Offenders and Child Molesters for more than a quarter of a century. I would bet you hold to making sure "the truth" is known, no matter what the cost. That's Biblical, most would say. I say it is not.

In my court work, I have seen children so FURTHER abused by the self-satisfying obsession for "truth", that it is nearly unbelievable.

So, I have to say that a virtue I live by is that innocents should not be injured just to feel that we did our duty to "get at the truth." Such a belief, to the best of my knowledge, cannot be found anywhere in the Bible. Does that make it wrong to espouse?

i think sometimes we forget that there are many people who are so beat down by thier sin, thier failures just the poor decisions they have made in life, they really do need to Hear about Gods Mercy, before we can start teaching righteousness. im in NO WAY a supporter of the gog, as anyone in these forums can tell you. its a fine line between speaking the truth that God is good, and then saying " God is so good, he is not calling us to repentance"

i think alot of folks that get pegged as " teaching sinless perfection" really arent, they are just speaking about the importance of obeying Gods word through Christ Jesus. while at other times alot get pegged as promoting sin, when they really are saying " God is good" im not sure this articulates what i was trying to say but maybe this will help

1 corinthians 3:1-3" And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?"

some need the milk, without denying that solid food exists and is the goal to grow into, because if we deny the truth of righteousness, well never grow up. yet, some are not there yet.

Hebrews 5:13 "For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant.

Sure It can Willie. Jesus said if you cause one of these little ones to stumble,it's better to have a milestone hung around your neck.

I believe he was referring to modern day Pharisees that use the Bible as a cloak for their sin. "Gettin at the truth" for their abuse.

Sometimes people don't pay attention to,the people they hurt along the way.

However Jesus always did. He spoke to every child and beggar who reached out in love and faith in Him.
.he still does Today.

Well said Willie...and sometimes in our zeal "for the truth" - we could be one step away from being a Westboro Baptist believer in our ways towards others...This is a major "selah" moment.
