Brother Denadii This may be a bit long, so please get your popcorn out. lol I was in this movement for some 8 years,I even got to know brother Copland, and brother Hagan when he was alive.The core of the teaching which started around 1970 with Oral Roberts who was piloted by Kenenth Copland back then, was a new concept of placing the Word above our own feeling and emotions,so it was a fine method to get people to examine themselves!!( 2 Cor 13:5)

But then with man things got out of order( 1 Cor 14:40) After Oral Roberts was taken out by the Lord( Acts 5:38-39) because of a new man made doctrine which I will explain,the Word of faith movement which was a great movement to start with,went off the cliff with ear ticking doctrine such as taking ( Rom 4:17-18) and making us little God's which is there belief today. They said what this scripture means in reality is that since Abraham by God called those things which were not as though they were,we can to!Verse 18 and SO SHALL YOUR DESCENDANTS!

Another words Name it, claim it,blab it, grab it.!! LOl This doctrine was very pleasing to me!! And for a while this worked out just fine for me! If I became sick,it was always my lack of faith according to ( Mark 6:5-6) even though we all know since the Lord is no respecter of persons ( rom 2:11,and acts 10:34)all have been given the same measure of his faith!!( Rom 12:3) It is the first part of this scripture that began to take shape rather then the measure given to us by the Lord himself!

My mindset was going that I was better then other so called believers because in my mind I had perfect faith! I was setting myself up for a great fall,which happened some 8 years into this doctrine.( Proverbs 20:23-24) and Proverbs 16:18-19!!) What happened to me was a long story but make no mistake the Lord corrected me!( 2 Tim 3:16-17!)

After being corrected by Holy Spirit and started to really get into the Word for myself and being led by Holy Spirit rather then man made doctrine,as spoken of here( 1 John 2:27) and Rom 8:14-15) For those who are being led by Holy Spirit!! I went to a Copland meeting and spoke to him in private,and asked him about being a little god.

And showed him this scripture!!!( Isaiah 43:10-14!!!) he then told me he received a revelation by God,I asked him which God? For are we not to test any spirit?? ( 1 john 4:1-6!!) he replied " you just have a lack of faith. LOL Which, unless for the Lord himself, I would have been destroyed as most people.

Then I asked him how is it that Paul lacked Faith?? he said he didn't!! Then showed him 1 Cor 4:10-16) verse 11!!! he then said you just do not understand and walked away.And so did I brother,I wiped my feet off and left the meeting! (1Peter 1:22-23!!) also ( 1 Peter 3:13-16!!) While being in the Word of faith movement I had more excuses then cater had pills to rebuke those who came against me and the Word of faith,you see I really know the Word,I am not a game player as many,I am sorry to say are people are,I always won!! LOL

The only way a person can truly come to the knowledge of the truth is the same way I did! The Lord really has to revel this heresy to you! So I judge you not,I do not look to bring ANY condemnation!! ( rom 8:1) I just wish for you to consider what I am so glad I did! I know how hard I fell,and do not wish for any to do the same! That is what LOVE DOES!!!! Not just speaks!!( 1 Cor 13:4-8!)

The ball is now in your court,I have told you my part of the truth I know to be true for me.( 1 Cor 13:11-13) The foundation of faith itself can never hold without LOVE! Faith does not work by faith,which is what they teach,but rather faith only can work through LOVE!!! ( Gal 5:4-6) For with out love we become cut off from the Lord himself! While true he does not forsake us or ever leave us,he sure does hide from us at times!!!( Isaiah 45:15!!) My the Lord comfort you and confirm to you these words! And may he never hide on you as he did me!

You said you do not believe God heals all the time as though He lied when He promised healing... so actually you are the scoffer who is rejecting God's promises which is your right to do.

God cannot just inject healing in to someone's lives when they claim they doubt He is willing to heal. He gave us the right to choose so if He could just force Himself upon people He's make everyone get saved... which is doesn't do obviously.

Concerning going to doctors, I've personally known several people that claimed to believe in healing and yet they went to doctors anyway and jumped thru every hoop the doctor said to... and sadly, they died anyway.

Like it or not, believe it or not... medical science is a roll of the dice just like going to vegas.

One of the end times issues mankind faces is an increase in diseases that are incurable and it's already happening if you follow medical news at all... but for the Lord, ain't nothing incurable.

So, you enjoy your doctor visits fo yo health and I'll enjoy going to the Great Physician... Jesus Christ Who has already taken sickness intended for me upon Himself so I would not have to have them.

I'm still waiting for someone to show me in God's Word where He tells His people (in either testament) to go to the doctor and trust the arm of the flesh / wisdom of mankind instead of coming to Him for health and healing... WHERE is that in God's Word anyhow???

Now, the Lord has taught me to do common sense things that many do not do that lead to sickness... things such as getting plenty of nourishment, don't eat junk food (lots of cancer causing stuff in processed food ya know), plenty of sleep, plenty of water, exercise, not getting in to stress (as in not giving a fat rat's backside about your attack on me for believing what God promises

) and these things go a long, long way to keeping the body healthy and when coupled with God's promises there's no reason to be sick at all!

This has nothing to do with following any "movement" but is simply taking God at His Word... besides, most of these guys you claim are WOF preachers are in agreement with catholicism (and many that disagree with WOF as well) and that is far more dangerous than standing on God's promises as you claim to be dangerous.
