As of post #234, slave had it last ( post #224 ) with:
Jesus' Red is the best, sweet news
I thought "long and hard" about this - because I did not want to offend slave by trampling on his word selection and sentence effort - but, "in short order" - because I felt I should do this now very quikly.
slave:
While it is true that none of us should ever be ashamed of the name of Jesus - and, I can see clearly that your sentence intends to honor our Lord by virtue of "Jesus' Red" - [ the shedding of ] His Blood - being "the best, sweet news" - the Gospel -- somehow I am still a little uncomfortable with us "throwing the name of Jesus around" in a thread that is, for the most part, supposed to be a lets-be-silly-and-have-fun kind of thread.
All:
No offense intended to anyone who has used the name of Jesus in this thread -- but -- considering the intent for the thread - don't you think it would be better overall for the thread if we "steered clear" of this? Maybe it is just me, but - I am thinking we have done way too much of this already.
So -- do you think we could stay away from too many 'God' / 'god' references - as well as 'occult' / 'dark' references from now on...???
Thanks.
Let's be silly and have fun with it...
