I'm sticking with what I want to read. The Lord hasn't told me anything is wrong with it. I only ever see people getting on here saying the K J is the best and the rest of us are wrong.

As far I can tell maybe someone wants the people kept slowed down and not understanding the meanings of the bible.

Any time I have ever seen anyone get a new version instead of the K J they have always said how happy they were to get a bible they could understand.

What I mean is, when we're talking about originals, we have to recognize that a lot was already translated into Greek. Jesus didn't always speak the exact words we read in the "original" texts, as heretical as that may sound.
The King James Version is translated from the Textus Receptus, and Greek, Hebrew, and Araimic..therefore the slanted words in the KJV was entered to make it a proper sentence in the English language.

So that does not at all make you think knowing that there are over 60,000 words missing in the NIV and Christ name removed dozens of times as well as words missing in the Book of Revelation were Jesus said that If any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Revelation 22:19.

I don't think the KJB is hard to understand, I used to read out of the NKJB and it seemed like as soon as I started reading the KJB, the Holy Spirit started realy opening my understanding.

Hey if someone wanted to read the Geneva Bible or the Wycliffe version of the Bible I wouldn't be against that. From what I could tell they have the same message. They were just written earlyer that the KJB so they are just harder to understand.. you see if they had a modern version that didn't take away the meaning then I probably wouldn't have a problem with that. but the changes in thse new versions are so unbelievable different that it is almost insane to think that they are inspired. If you think that they are inspired than that would lead to serious confusion because we have dozens of different Bibles saying a different message.. And since God is not the author of confusion, would it not seem like just a last day deception. The KJB became the authorized version in 1611; Which one of the 20 plus Bibles is the authorized version today.

The Bible says that in the end time that evil men and seducers shall wax (become) worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them. 2 Timothy 3:13-14

Does it say to change to keep form being deceived. No, it says to continue in the things which you have been taught. This will keep you from being deceived.

Se what the devil wants us to believe is that we don't have an accurate version of the Bible since it is written by man. And that God is not able to preseve His Word, even though He clearly said that His word shall never pass away. What this lie of the devil does is makes people think that since they don't have an accurate version of God's Word they can change doctrine and slowly turn to fables just like Paul prophecied in 2 Timothy 4:3-4
NO MATTER HOW MUCH YALL TRY USE JUSTIFICATION FOR THE CORRUPTED VERSIONS THAT ARE ON THE MARKET, THIS IS PROOF THAT GOD'S WORD BEEN TAMPERED WITH. BUT YALL JUST GOING TO SAY ITS EASIER TO READ AND HIS WORDS ARE HARDER TO UNDERSTAND? THAT IS WHERE THE HOLY SPIRIT COMES INTO PLACE TO HELP US TO UNDERSTAND. JESUS DURING HIS MINISTRY WAS NOT AN ENGLISH SPEAKER BUT ARAIMIC, GREEK, HEBREW. OF COURSE IT WONT BE THE WAY AS WE SPEAK TODAY. WHATEVER THE ARGUMENT MAY BE, I WILL DECLARE GOD'S WORD AS THUS SAYETH THE LORD, NOT THUS SAYETH THE MAN OR YOUR OPINIONS.

The NIV has a lot of New Age religion interpretations in it,and calls the Spirit the light.

It supports New Age religion theology.

1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer(1 Timothy 4:1-5).

This is the New Age religion, that has departed from the faith, the truth of the Bible, and has an occultic interpretation of the Bible, which will be included in the one world religious system.
They get in contact with their guiding spirit, which is a devil, which is unknown to a lot of them, but known to those who follow black magic.

God bless you! But along with not saying thee and thou, I'm not also not living in a tent or in rocks. I drive a car and don't plan on walking 40 miles in a day. I'm going to keep using my tooth brush. I'm going to use the shower all the time. I'm going to wear modern clothes instead of robes like the muslims.

Old wine skins that can't take in new wine.

I dont know where are you getting your information from, but doing what you just did is dangerous. Unless what you are speaking of is the New King James Version. There is no proof that the Authentication of the King James has any error. This is the question for everyone who does not believe. DO YOU NOT BELIEVE THAT AN ALMIGHTY GOD WOULD BE POWERFUL ENOUGH TO HAVE A PERFECT WORD AND TO PRESERVE IT DOWN THROUGH CENTURIES?
He already did, the original texts. It is absoloutly absurd to think that the KJV has no mistakes in it what so ever. I just listed some for you.

I do not get why you said that you are going to wear modern clothes instead of robes like the Muslims. Not every Muslim I know wears robes. However, it is worth noting that wearing jeans in a 100+ degree environment would be very uncomfortable. Just because they wear different clothes than you doesn't mean that they are socially backwards or behind the times. If that is the case then my priest, who is Greek Orthodox, is very very behind the times. As is the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople. By the way, did you know that Indians, actual people who reside in India who are not Muslim, wear robes?

YOU DID NOT ANSWER MY QUESTION. IF HE ALREADY DID, WOULD HE NOT TRANSLATE IT INTO OUR LANGUAGE PERFECTLY AND I BELIEVE THAT A PERFECT GOD WOULD PERFECTLY TRANSLATE IT. AND TO SUPPORT YOUR ACCUSATION AGAINST THE KJV WHAT RESOURCE ARE YOU GETTING THAT FROM? AND WHAT BIBLE ARE YOU USING IF YOU ARE NOT USING THE KJV?
WE SHOULD NOT BE CORRECTING GODS WORD BUT LETTING HIS WORD CORRECT US.

The KJV

Is an Anglican Bible-- church of England

therefore it has slight modifications of baptism verses to allow for sprinkling and baptism of babies. It also substitutes the word assembly or congregation.. and just uses the mysterious word 'church'

It has modification for the notorious 2 Corinthians 12:13 verse.. to have being baptised 'by' instead of a better translation 'in reference to' or 'unto'

want proof?

well.. King James himself ordered the old ecclessiastical words from the Puritans regarding assembly and congregation.. be kept out of the 1611 text. And being an Anglican.. he definitely would have wanted allowance for baby baptism and baptism by sprinkling in there.

But ..

even with this in mind... the KJV is written in such as way that context actually changes the meaning of these verses anyway.. and the real meaning is preserved. So .. there are numerous other baptism verses that put the few changed verses into context and the right meaning.. there are numerous other verses about churches that talk about assemblies and congregations to iron out the use of the word church alone.

But ya... the only fully inerrant bible is the original manuscripts..

but thankfully given the meticulous translating and copying.. the bible we have today.. and one of the most sound translations is the KJV 1611.. has no significant errors from the originals.

Lets compare

Romans 14:13

KJ Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way

NIV Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother's way

The meaning of the verse is the same. These days so many people are getting so anal (exscuse me) about what s the 'true' bible or who has the 'true' faith. Wake up people! This isn't what God called you to do.

Not the same. And how can you justify the omissions in the NIV? and we are just having a discussion on the Bible. I proven to you that the NIV is the corrupted version that omits verses from God's Word.

Can you explain why the verses in the KJV is not in the NIV?
Everybody you are free to express what you think, but use scripture to back up what you re saying, instead of giving me your opinions.

No argument as I keep repeating. I already proved to you the corruption of the NIV Bible therefore there is no justification for it. Every man will be judged by God for what they heard and ignored it. It was just information given to you, to inform you of the dangers of these modern day versions. There are ALL PART OF THE ECUMENICAL MOVEMENT THAT IS LEADING UP TO THE ANTICHRIST. BELIEVE IT OR NOT.

If you don t like your precious NIV being exposed you dont have to write under this forum, for there is nothing you can prove of the NIV that it is not corrupt. IF they are reading the NIV, does that mean they are not saved? Maybe they are, maybe their not..that has to do with the heart of the believer. But again, I speak on Salvation under the forum "New Chrisitians" with the title Acts 16:31, and under Bible Discussions with the title 'Eternal Security'.

kyng_james, I encourage you to take some basic Hebrew classes or Greek which ever catches your interest more. By doing so, you will learn the KJV is a far from a perfect translation. Plenty examples can be given but you'd have to learn for yourself - especially since you are making it so difficult to accept facts.
