Yep, satan has many deceived in to attacking promises from God's Word and attacking those that believe and walk in promises from God's Word.

The sad part is these religious people think they are doing good by denying God's promises from His Word... calling God a bald face liar!

It will not end well for these religious nuts... carnal, man-made religion inspired by the devil to reject legitimate promises in God's Word... sad.
What is being questioned is the false promises people from the word of Faith movement make....such as how God wants everyone to be billionaire...that's a lie.

Another lie is that God isn't in control of this world.

The fact that there is any argument on if the WoF movement is legit or not tells me that the 'christians' lack discernment, have absolutely none. This is so clear there is none needed.
I bet you could drag an unbeliever in there and even they would instantly notice something is going on. Its so plain and obvious that its a scam, on one hand I feel bad for people who are stuck in that wicked religion, but on the other hand I feel like if you're dumb enough to fall for that, thats on you buddy.

These are the last days indeed, major falling away apostasy its going down folks.
THE LORD is returning soon thats what that tells me.
Yeah it's a scam.

I believe if Jesus was here he would be overturning some money tables.

Common misconception... pain and suffering does not make one a better person.

If it did, then why are we not all beating each other with hammers??? That would certainly lead to some pain and suffering!

Besides. God's Word teaches that He has already healed you:

1 Peter 2:24
Jesus carried our sins in his own body on the cross, so that we, being dead to sin, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.

Matthew 8:17
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Isaiah 53:4, 5

Jesus has carried our grief (pain, anxiety, calamity, disease, sickness), and carried our sorrows (anguish, affliction, feelings of pain, sadness and sorrow): yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted....but He was wounded (to wound, to break, be slain or killed) for our transgressions, He was bruised (crush, destroy, oppress, to collapse) for our iniquities: the punishment (violence, rebuke) of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. (He took our wounds, so we could take his wholeness & health in every area of life)

I always find it odd that people claim to be saved... even though they are not in Heaven yet, but the claim to believe what God's Word says about salvation and they stake their claim... "I am born again!" which is using the word of faith paul spoke of in Romans 10:9-10

But, if we look at what the Lord said thru Paul (and in Mark 11:23,24) we see that confession is made unto deliverance (salvation)

So, seeing Jesus has taken our physical pain and suffering upon Himself... why not agree with the work He did on the Cross and say / believe / act (with thanksgiving that God watches over His Word to perform it cause He's not a liar - Jeremiah 1:12) like you don't have to have pain and suffering in your body cause Jesus already paid for that and the pain and suffering must go!

We do this same thing with salvation... even at times when we don't feel saved, act saved, or talk like one that is saved... we keep saying we are saved, and yet refuse to do this concerning other promises of God.

Maybe we should do what the Lord said in this verse:

Colossians 2:6
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him

I know it works when we start believing what God says over and above our feelings and circumstances and continue waiting upon the Lord for understanding standing on James 1:5
Why do people even die with your theology? Jesus said we have eternal life, therefore no one ever gets sick, feels pain or even dies, just live forever until the rapture and be transformed instantly?

You're an idiot and welcome to my ignorelist.

You're one who rejects God's promises... this shouldn't be so.

Fist off, it's not "my" theology... it's God's promises... and nobody but you ever thought we would not die physically

Hebrews 9:27
it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment

So, quit being a nutjob and start believing God's promises He put in His Word and quit listening to the devil who is giving you all these excuses as to why God does not honor what He promised based on the finished work of Jesus Christ!

It's time to get out of the nursery and grow up broman!

welcome to my ignorelist.
Thank you!

I don't particularly enjoy being unequally yoked with unbelievers... see ya!

Another lie is that God isn't in control of this world.
2 Corinthians 4:3,4
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

If God is the One controlling everything that goes on in this world... WHY hasn't He made everyone get saved yet?... and WHY is God allowing all the murder, rape, sickness, etc,etc... If He is running this world... He's doing a very poor job of it! (see 2 Corinthians 4:3,4)

And, did you not read in Genesis where God gave authority over the world to Adam... and then Adam committed high treason against God when he sinned???

Actually, you have satan and God confused...

I was driving to my in laws this morning and it struck me to pray for you.

I can't remember it all, but I remember part of it and reading a few scriptures posted by ForthAngel reminds me of it.

You know how Daniel's friends was tossed in the fire and the world did not see 3 men but 4?

I believe our trials are like a refining fire that burns up the hay and stubble on our hearts, takes away the thorns and melts the rocks.

We have controlled burns in our area because some seeds never open if not exposed to fire.

I do believe that God uses His refining fire to shape our lives and heart. However we are never alone in that fire.
Thank you all i can speak from is personal experience because thats all the experience i know. Its all the experience anyone can know is their own.

I don't know about the 'billionaire thing' but for the rest....Maybe you should stop fighting, and ask God what He wants. Then actually listen for the answer

Actually you seem very confused.

Jesus is King of Kings. Perhaps you need to learn what that means?

If you look at that verse it can be translated as this world systems (those in rebellion against God) not this entire physical world.

Bible Q&A: Who Really Has the Authority on Earth, God or Satan? | Unlocking the Bible

The Bible frequently uses “the world” or “this world” to refer to the present evil system of opposition to God. So, the Bible never teaches that Satan actually rules over the entire world, but that he is ruler over the current system of sinful opposition to God. In other words, he’s leading the rebellion against God
Gotta play with my new baby niece, So hopefully someone else can address the rest of your questions.

Half of my posts are scriptures. Perhaps you have a different understanding of those scriptures and that is why you find my words confusing?

What exactly have I said that does not match up in your mind?

1. Jesus does NOT promise physical healing to all people
2, God will fulfill all His promises, but many people lie about what God promises
3. God is more concerned with the eternal state of the soul than these earthly tents that will die
4. God can miraclously physically heal people but it will be according to His will and not promised to all before judgement day,
5. Jesus told his disciples they would undergo trials and persecution because this world is filled with sin and sinful people.

What I haven't said but believe is.

6. People suffer because of sin in the world. It doesn't have to be theirs. Jesus died on the cross because of our sins. More people are get cancer because humans have made chemicals and polluted the earth.

7. Word of Faith movement has many false doctrines within it and I don't understand why anyone would want to defend it.

It claims that if you are sick, it's because you lack faith.

It claims you can sow money to get money.

It is led by wolves claiming to be pastors who take poor widows money and buy mansions and jets.

It promotes a false god who is an idol of fake worldly prosperity.

.it does not teach the core values found in the BIBLE. Good works are for treasure in Heaven....not fake wealth in this temporary foreign land.
The problem is misunderstanding what is mean't...especially about not having enough faith. We have negative thoughts that could interfere with our belief that God wants to personally touch us. They have to go...so having not enough faith is truth..but a direct truth that should be taken instructionally. We take things too personal. Then we must realize why is this all personal jabs? Because of lack of security in Him...condemning thoughts. Many reasons why our faith is lacking.

When I said a double minded man receives nothing...you were offended. Ariel I have great respect for you and see your love for the Lord. Doublemindedness is to not have a solid belief and stand on it. Faith draws Holy Spirit to us. A pure home environment with worship will draw angels to our home.

I mean't no disrespect nor offense Ariel.

I don't get offended anymore because of what people say to me. It is most freeing.

Jesus is King of Kings. Perhaps you need to learn what that means?
I'm very well acquainted with the King of King and Lord of Lords... so much so, that I refuse to call His Word a lie like some do. He's not a fan of being called a liar...

You should get to know Him... I can introduce Him to ya if you'd like!

I never said the earth... I said the "world" is controlled by the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:3,4) who Jesus said came to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10) which is why in this world... there is so much killing, stealing, and destroying.

Of course Jesus is Lord overall, but non the less God obviously gave authority to Adam for a certain time frame and after that the Last Adam (Jesus) will rule for 1000 years with His faithful, you know those that don't call His Word a lie.

Hopefully you'll be able to make it, but ya gotta quit considering His Word to not be true... that does not end well.

never go to a doctor again then
I use the Great Physician... Jesus Christ.

His health care program is outta this world, thank God!

If He can turn water into fresh fruit of the vine, He can turn sick flesh into healed flesh... and can go one better... keep a body from getting sick in the first place! This really only works for those that present their bodies to the Lord as LIVING sacrifices (not sickly sacrifices) not being conformed to this world proving what God's will is:

Romans 12:1,2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

We may not understand why but to God our darkest hour may be the greatest work of God.

2 Corinthians 2:14

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Maybe because of the way some are presenting their case. They don't do it out of love but out of self gratification. It is all a few on this forum can talk about.
So ceilede, you know this how? How in the world do you presume to know the operation of one's mind? By that I mean how do you know that one's motivation is out of love or hate? The following is what "Love incarnate said."

Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men's bones and all uncleaness. Even so you outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly yu are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. You serpents, you brood of vipers, how shall you escape the sentence of hell?

Now catch this part. Therefore, behold I am sending you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagoigues, and persecute from city to city etc . In your uninformed little world ceilede you would be naming these people today "Heresy Hunters." I was quoting some of what Jesus Christ said at Matthew 23:27-36. Tell me, what was the motivation of Jesus ceilede? Was it out of hate, self gratification, what?

Well the answer can be found at Matthew 23:37, "O Jerusalem, Jerusalen, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers here chicks under her wings, and you were not willing." So the next time you "think" you know one's motives, read what Jesus said.

Bluto This is a question I see often, so even though you asked ceilede I'm going to jump in. Of course ceilede can answer you too...What is in your heart will squirt out every time you open your mouth, or in this case every time you unlimber your typing fingers. Out of the treasure of your heart, your mouth speaks. What is on a persons mind, or what he thinks is open for the world to see every time he opens his mouth. So how can anyone know what or how you think... You broadcast it all the time!
Proverbs 14:3
In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.

Perhaps disdain for others causes people to see them in the above manner. There is no way you know the hearts of others so your accusation is merely unsubstantiated and generalized slander. It is totally unnecessary.

I chose to drive my truck that day and made a split second decision that saved my life but still was slammed by a suv. I know God can heal and in fact he has healed and helped me in so many ways but i know in this fallen world God works in different ways and I still have pain. This pain has made me humble, made me more considerate of others, my reliance on God. Obviously God has a reason to keep me this way.
Amen brother, and praise His name through it all. I was in a motorcycle wreak that took all function from my right (dominate) arm. This is what He used to save me, not that He made the wreak happen, but like you said I made the choice to ride, the woman made the choice to "shoot the gap" without seeing me, and the wreak happen. That's the world, but God took this hardship and through it pulled me to Himself. Praise His name. Could I have been saved without something like this? I don't see how, God can do anything, but I needed something to upset my whole world I was stuck in blind. Now I can say, without any doubt, that I would not trade what He's given me for my arm back. As a matter of fact I would give up the other arm, both legs, and my head to keep it. I LOVE the God that works through our weaknesses. One more time "Praise His name".
