When you believed upon and trusted Jesus Christ for salvation, God put on your account over (65) sixty-five divine imputations instantly with no reservations or consideration of your character or anything you had done for or against Him. One of those divine imputations was His own gift of righteousness (Rom 5:17,18). Now, when God looks at you He sees His righteousness that He gave to you as a free gift, without any works on your part to earn it (Rom 5:15,16,18). Because of that gift, that was given to you through grace (Rom 5:15), God sees you as positionally perfect and complete in Him (Col 2:10) and before Him in love (Eph 1:4), even though your experience is not perfect or fully developed. God has begun a good work in you and will continue that work until the day of Jesus Christ in (Phil 1:6), when you receive your new glorified body in (Rom 8:23). God will never leave you or forsake you (Heb 13:5) and will not deal with you according to your sins (mistakes) or reward us according to our iniquities (shortcomings in Psalm 103:10), but will reward you according to mercy, grace and what He has promised (Psalm 119:24, Rom 4:4,5; 2Pt 1:4 ). He will be merciful to our unrighteousness (Heb 8:12).
One of the greatest and most assuring promises that Christ has made to all of us is written in (Mt 11:28-30). 'Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light'. Remember that God's word can always be trusted and He is always resting in His love toward us no matter what we do (Zeph 3:17).
