can you tell me some more????? as i said in my first post i think it has something to do with disobedience as well because it says in rev14 those who didnt take the mark were those who kept the commandments of God and witness of Jesus.......... is there biblical evidence that its this stigma of sin because charagma means a literal thing like branding a cow........ but it could be figurative of course its interesting to ponder these things what else could i do with my time????
We walk by faith the faith of Christ, the faith of God (the eternal, unseen, spiritual) and not by sight, the temporal, according to the Prince of airway, the god of this world,
The prescription for rightly dividing the word of God as below must be used if we are to find the gospel message hid from the lost.
Matthew 13:34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and
without a parable spake he not unto them:
.2Co 4:18 While we
look not at the
things which are seen, but at the
things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but
the things which are not seen are eternal.
The mark used 7 times in those parables in Revelation is not a literal mark but is like the mark of Cain… a restless wanderer , a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth as a unbeliever who has not received the Sabbath rest on account of Christ’s work of faith, bringing gospel.
Gen 4:14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from
thy face
shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a
mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
When looking at parables that use the metaphor right hand or foreheads. We understand the Holy Spirit is referring to will or thoughts. For we wrestles not against flesh and blood as that seen but spirits and principalities as that not seen
Revelation 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the
mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
It’s the number of man (666) being influenced by the father of lies that the scripture refers to as antichrists. They are spirit messengers as fallen angels having no form they are not created as beast of the field as man is.(no DNA) They cannot take on the form of man but do use that which is outward as the things of men to deceive mankind.
The scripture defines what a antichrist or antichrists as in many are. Many that were there even prior to the first century sold out on the truth of Christ, as if Christ could be bought or sold. Esau sold the birthright for some soup. The gospel was not something he desired
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his
mark in his forehead, or in his hand,The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: Rev 14:10
Drinking the wrath of God is simply saying they have not received salvation. Whosoever that has not the Spirit of Christ do not belong to Him. They would be the ones that have received the mark at birth as restless wanderers.
Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the
mark of his name.
Same mark.
Revelation 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his
mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
Same mark
Revelation 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the
mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
Same mark used as a metaphor
Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought
miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the
mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Same mark used as a metaphor. Same lake of fire as a metaphor to symbolize men were under the wrath of God
Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his
mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Same mark according to that parable above. Showing Christ was not their head.
