I do not like to teach about hell,for it is a subject I usually tend to avoid,but the scriptures state there is a hell,and not annihilation.

Mat 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Mat 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Mat 8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Mat 24:51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

I do not like to bring it up at times,for some might think bad about you,but I do not want anybody to go to hell no matter what they did,and it is not my words,and some people do not understand why this has to be,but it could be that all sin has to be purged with fire,and they are sinful for eternity.

When Jesus pointed out the ones that would go to where the devil and his angels were going,He pointed out that they did not care about people,to feed and clothe them,and help them with their needs,so it was the same as if they would not help Jesus when He was on earth.

To be atoned for means to be reconciled to God. To be reconciled to God means to be in good standing. The lost aren't in good standing in any way, shape, form, or fashion.

In the atonement we have the death, burial and resurrection of the Christ. Romans 4:25 says He rose for OUR justification. If He rose for OUR justification, and if OUR means everybody w/o exception, then everybodys justified. Hello universalism.

No. The bible was also written to future generations. Still more to be saved. There are still elect who are yet to be called out of the world through the Gospel. Yeah, I agree with the passage and what it is about. It seems to be speaking specifically to future generations interestingly enough.

He is patient for the elect's sake though. This is true no matter what side of the argument we find ourselves on. God already knows who will be saved from eternity past. The previous chapter makes the claim God keeps the wicked under punishment until the day of judgment and that is juxtaposed with being patient toward you (the elect/church), wanting all to come to repentance.

Well . . . . Since the context doesn't specifically say "elect" but says "not willing that ANY should perish but ALL come to repentance" - I will believe what the scripture is actually saying. As I said people that are already in the body of Christ (the church) should have already repented so why would God have to wait on them to repent?
