What is the fear of the Lord and how do you know you have it?
The fear of the LORD is the fear to do wrong,and to hate evil,because God will go against all who have pleasure in wrong doing.
Also by the fear of the LORD is when people actually understand the word of God better.
Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
Psa 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do
his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
Pro 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Pro 2:5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
Pro 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Pro 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

If we hold unto sin,and do not get rid of it then we are in a position of being judged.

Some people never come to the truth that they have to abstain from sin,and some depart from the living God,and go back to their sinful ways.
