Butt out Lynn,I already told him I wasn't accusing him but saying the accusation had been said in other threads. I told Forth this and SG or Trof. cant remember which I was speaking to. Read back about what I said before you pounce. You're rapping others fingers while doing the same. Chill out!
I'm this much behind everyone else. And after I wrote this, I saw you kind of apologizing.

My point is the same. If you do it, oopsie. If others do it, they're "maligning" you so you need to write 10 pages of why you're being maligned, point by point, and rep your "good buddies" for agreeing with you.

Angela, I don't know if you remember this, but the first time we met, we got into quite an argument. I was new, and giving a traditional "Why can't we get along better" noob post on BDF, about remembering that some of our brothers and sisters have mental health issues, so would everyone please stop thinking they're "trolls."

But you misunderstood that and thought I was saying there is no room for people who have mental health issues on this site. (And given your passion for people with bipolar, you had every right to go off and get angry at someone like that.) It took us half a year to get over that and finally understand. (And, btw, didn't call you a liar either. lol)

I'm amazed how God can work stuff out. Probably does answer why he is long-suffering though. :)

I do remember! And for a while, I held a bit of a grudge! But when your husband got sick, and I saw your pain, God helped me forgive you. He reminded me of when my husband almost died, and then I realized we are all humans walking this road, and if Jesus forgave those who crucified him, how could I not forgive you? If there was anything to forgive, in the first place!

And of course, there are mental health issues, and there are mental health issues. But that is not the topic here now. And, I did come to the conclusion yesterday that there must be some people with personality disorders on this thread. I need to get out my chaplain's hat, stand back and think objectively, sometimes. But then, no one is really attacking me much on this thread, anyway.

So let the games continue, and may the odds be ever in your favour!

Regardless, the bible uses sheep to depict His followers.

He's not a literal door, but He is the Door to the sheep pen.
Why then will you be separated from goats at the Great White Throne judgement?

Doesn't He already know you?

Because the Bible says their eyes will be opened and they will see their Messiah whom they persecuted and morn. They will freely believe. God doesn't make them believe, their blinders are taken off and they see and believe the same way we do.
So... God must open their eyes and He decided it will be only few (a remnant), right?

Quote "Okay, so we may never be friends again, but I don't want you to take it out on everyone else."

No we're not ever going to be friends again. Thats what you said when emailed me,Ive accepted that.

Quote "
So, don't go thinking he's snipey when he's not, because he can't/won't do snipey. "

Already been dealt with and I spoke to him directly about it. Read back, you're behind.

Quote "
He's been straightforward on what he thinks throughout the entire time he's been on this site. Passionate too, but straightforward."

I have no problem with straightforward as long as those same people can take what they give. And straightforward should not = ignorant. Neither of which Im accusing Forth of. So far I dont have much of an issue with him other than certain beliefs. Personally no issues.

Quote "
Don't project."

Dont insert yourself where you dont belong. Has nothing to do with you and the issue has been cleared up.Read back.
Okay, defending a brother has nothing to do with me.

Great! Does anything have anything to do with God for you? Because, personally, I thought we were supposed to be protective of each other. Somebody says something against family, yes, this is what I do. Love them.

(Still all about you.)

But the blasphemy Jesus said was unforgiveable was blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Speak against God or the Son, it can be forgiven, but blaspheme the Spirit, you're goners.
Isn't the Holy Spirit God?

He uses goats metaphorically as the reprobate. Why He used sheep and goats instead of horses and donkeys only He knows.

Its only a picture. Yes, the real animals called sheep cannot sin, but the same with real dogs or real pigs. Animals do not sin.

Sheep in the words of Christ is an image of His flock. And as John says, we are not without sin.
Add to confusing. "Sheep on one side, goats on the other."

Care to expound on what you're expressing in the above? Thanks in advance.

Jesus descended into that fire and protected the three that wasn't a vision or a prophecy or anything else but the real deal, He gave a example of events to come in the OT.

what was that example?

its foreknowledge.................
It's God's sovereignty.

He doesn't just know the next card in the desk, he created cards and deck to do what he wills.

It's a wrong picture though SG. We are not "beast"; we have the image of God being formed within. Sheep can't have this. They have to "follow". Don't like that word either. Led. Led by His Voice...by Holy Spirit...sometimes through the Word (written) and other times through His Spirit in our spirit.
You're taking it too far with your "beast" comment. Was not Christ the lamb of God? Is He not also the lion of the tribe of Judah? Why are you even arguing against this, just to argue? I mean I really don't see your point here at all other than to argue.

It's not a wrong picture, it is how Christ described His followers. Note also Acts 20:29 where Paul warns that false teachers won't spare "the flock." This conveys His people as sheep. 1 Peter 5:2 uses the same terminology. There are more passages.

Yes, we are also called sons, but you cannot dismiss the sheep part simply because you don't like it (or whatever your reasoning). You're failing to use 2 Timothy 2:15 in your analysis sister. ;)

Lebanon hates Israel. The Miss America pageant and the Olympics was proof. If we needed it.

And Lebanon means the beat of the heart...inner man. Definitely is not filled with love.
Funny, considering one of the men who taught me so much about God was Lebanese. (He's an American with an accent now. lol) His family had to flee that country during their civil war because they were Christians, and would have been killed for that. But, even there, there God will have himself a people.

I got into a debate on another forum on this subject. That scripture is speaking about nations. Sheep nations...goat nations.

Which god is hailed as God.

~Mat 25:31 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory and all the angels are with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.
Mat 25:32 All the nations will be assembled in front of him, and he will cull them out, one from another, like a shepherd separates sheep from goats.

I will be with Him. Not in front. Raptured.

I don't know about animals not being able to sin man. We had a cat once and we're pretty sure it's now in hell.

Study about things and you should know these things,

Milk,meat,wool

valuable parchment, and most vitally, fleece. Fleece to be shorn or pulled, and spun and woven into cloth.
