I only have half of one wisdom tooth that descended. The other three never came in. Which, according to evolutionary theory, means people like Laish and myself are more evolved beings than you lot who are throwbacks cutting all four wisdom teeth.

Either that, or we have no wisdom.

If they are coming in wrong - and, are "impacting" - you [ pretty much ] have no choice. They need to come out.

Like Depleted said -- getting a good 'clot' is important - and, do not do anything that will produce 'suction' in your mouth for a day or two. ( i.e. - anything that will create a "vacuum pressure" on the clot )

idea:

If you are fortunate enough to only work Monday - Friday with Saturday - Sunday off ( otherwise, if you have two consecutive days off ) --- see if you can get the teeth pulled ( if necessary ) on [ a ] Friday ( if it does not simply become too painful before then ) so that you will have the weekend to form the clot -- after which, normal activity would probably be okay.

If it is just too-incredibly-painful ( now ), see how soon you can get a dental appointment and take that day off ( and, possibly the day after? ).

EDIT: Is there no way you can keep from breathing all of that...???

Well, I would pray about it. I don't think you'd need to take much time off for this. I've never heard of fumes infecting anything, though your dentist should be the authority on that. If they fire you over this, they are jerks.

"An infection, too, I'll bet..."

And, one of the pills is an antibiotic - to kill the infection first before they go in after the tooth.

And, the other is a pain-killer.

Tell me if I'm not right... ;)
