What she did was despicable and she should be punished. What is a fitting punishment, I don't know. But God only set the death penalty for certain cases and, even in those cases, the Bible records Him as showing mercy for those who repent. Telling people to kill themselves wasn't one of those cases. Now, from what I can gather of the case, she badgered him into it, to the point where it could be considered manslaughter or even some degree of murder, but since the Bible doesn't (to my knowledge) set grounds for the barriers between harassment/bullying and murder, we don't know for sure how God would view it. Ultimately, the man killed himself. He probably had limited understanding at the time and wasn't thinking clearly and she obviously manipulated him, but there's only so much a person can be responsible for another's actions.

Just cause somebody says something certainly does mean I'm supposed to do what they say or even taken them seriously.

There's a news story behind it. I don't know the girl's name but she told this suicidal guy in a text to kill himself and he did so now she's in court. I think he may have been in love with her, but don't quote me on that..

Because anyone with any sense knows that there is no such thing as accountability. If someone tells you to do something, you HAVE to do it.
Maybe she "double-dog-dared" him.... that's even worse...

The reason why i meantioned it is because she will probably get off easy because as a previous poster said that if she repents then she'll go to Heaven,even though that guy is in hell.

How do you know he's in Hell? Suicide is a sin, but Jesus's blood covers all sin. If he was a Christian, which he may or may not have been, he is in Heaven.
Get off easy...true repentance isn't easy. True, we suffer much less than our sins merit, but it entails first realizing just how evil our sins are, not only in regards to others but in what Jesus had to suffer for them to be forgiven. Even when people are saved, their memories are not wiped. Even knowing God forgives them won't erase the memory of what they have done. So if she doesn't place her faith in Christ, she will spend eternity in Hell. If she does place her faith in Christ, she wil be forgiven and spend eternity in Heaven, but live out the rest of her earthly life with the memory of what she did to this man and his family, and know that Jesus had to bear the weight of that on the cross.
Sometimes i wish that i had that kind of optimism,i think that it is great that you have it.
