David, I have been there, in fact, just yesterday i was there. Feeling completely broken, feeling like I needed a miracle. I still am not in great shape today, but I like you, realized I needed help.. I prayed and shared with others so they could be praying! I am really proud you reached out, because prayer is everything in this situation! Let me remind you that God is nuts about you! He loves you. The God of the universe created you, and trust me when i say this, he understands exactly what you are going through. A lot of people say that... "I understand", but i'll be honest, since i am not God, and I cant be in your shoes and see everything you are facing, i have no right to say that. He does though David. He is the only one who understands, so who better to be there for you than Him? I just care for you brother so much! SO please know I am praying and will be praying continuously. Heavenly Father,
I love that you are the same God when we are in the valley as You are when we are on the mountain. Despite what we go through, and the tossing, pulling, shifting, and sliding currents of our life, you never change Who You are. And You are Love. Your love for us is so immense. Even while we are yet sinners, you promise to be there for us. I ask that you would help David out right now. I don't know what He is facing, but it encourages me that You do! Even more so, it encourages me that he had the guts to comment this pray request and open up. Lord, thankyou that he did! i am thankful that we can all be lifting him up now! Father, take these bad thoughts away from him! The devil comes to kill and destroy... and his thoughts seem to be reflecting what satan wants for his life.... father you came to bring light! and to GIVE HIM A HOPE!, so God i ask that you would wash over him the truth of Your Word. Lord that he would come to you in his vulnerability and that you would change him from the inside out. Father, bring people in his life to encourage him and be a friend for him. Help david to know that he is NEVER EVER EVVER alone, and that he can always reach out for help. In Your name only Jesus,
