I consider what Rockrz posted an attack.
If I were gonna ""attack you, I'd say somethin 'bout'cho momma and them

Oh wait! are you guys into predestination and election!?!? then by all means please continue with your false teachings and pardon me for every intruding on your party.

Proverbs 28v13
He who covers his sins will not prosper,
But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

1) Confession
2) Forsaking
3) Granting of Mercy
Exactly... in the the New Testament we find that confessing, forsaking and coming to the Lord is how we obtain mercy (Hebrews 4:16)

David did that after he sinned... he confessed it, forsook it and asked for forgiveness and sought the mercy of the Lord.

God called him a man after His own heart for this.

Saul repented cause he was worried about what sin might do to him... David repented cause he was worried that his sin would somehow hurt / displease the Lord

This is so insane, it proposes sin is no longer an issue in society.
God did pay for the washing away of all sin... but here's the kicker, not all have received it and som that do quit walking in it.

Salvation is a relationship with the Father thru Jesus and just like any relationship it can be broken off cause we have free will and are not robots.

2 Corinthians 5:17-19
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Sin isn't the issue, the issue is people don't have the Lord Jesus in their lives. Stop preaching sin and start preaching Jesus, and sin will reduce.
The Word of God teaches sin will increase in the end times... even with all the false grace teachers claiming there is no more penalty for sin... they are actually contributing to the increase of sin cause they are telling people that they cannot get in trouble if they do sin.... which is a lie of the devil and is a mockery of the Lord (Gal 6:7,8)

Its about focus. What are you focused on? The sin of the world or the solution for the world?
That's exactly what the new agers (satan's crowd) wants you to think.

We should be keeping our garments (lives) clean as we walk with the Lord understanding we still live in a world full of sin and darkness being sober and vigilant because your adversary the devil seeks whom he "may" devour (1 Peter 5:8)

The Lord would not be giving us this warning if it was not possible to be devoured after having been born again.

Poison dart in the arm = sin in a human.

Jesus dying on the cross = dart removed from arm

Following Holy Spirit = taking medicine to combat the poison.

The enemy still shoots darts (temptation to sin), do you have your armor on (faith in Christ and following the Holy Spirit)?
You left out the Word of God... the most important part!

The Holy Spirit always, always leads us back to what God has said.

Those that do not repeat what God says are liars and are following a different spirit and another jesus preaching another gospel... the one that please satan and leads people to hell.

Exactly Rockrz - Here is the scriptures: Matthew 24 [SUP]11 [/SUP]Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. [SUP]12 [/SUP]And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. [SUP]13 [/SUP]But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

-False prophets teaching a false grace gospel.
-evidenced by lawlessness abounding (thou shalt not surely die!!).
-love of many grow cold - if you love Me you will obey Me.
-once again salvation happens only at the end. To those who endure. To those who overcome.

Sure...the context is not salvation, but enduring the great tribulation listed......another one of your fallacies....assuming or twisting the word save or saved every time it is used toward salvation of the soul....

You should study the word context.....

con·text
ˈkäntekst/
noun
noun: context; plural noun: contexts

  • the circumstances that form the setting for an event, statement, or idea, and in terms of which it can be fully understood and assessed.

And this one:

Revelation 2
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. [SUP]6 [/SUP]But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. [SUP]7 [/SUP]“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”’

What fictional context to you want to fabricate here?

Did you all not realize that a greater than David has come?

~Eph 2:8 For by such grace you have been saved through faith. This does not come from you; it is the gift of God.

Rock you misquoted this previously.

Where does that indicate or have anything to do with salvation....the context is CHURCH body collectively losing authority as a NEW Testament Church....notice the word below.......

Ya know...the closer we get to the Lord through the working of Holy Spirit...the more that holiness is loved.

Not sin. Sin becomes no issue in ones life. It is Jesus only and His life that we want to flow through us.

Why is the focus on sin with you guys? Speaking to Rock, Chris and anyone else whose shoes are this size.

Simple....they push a working for, I don't sin that much, café blend false gospel....and they have to grasp at straws so as to hammer ALL who preach salvation by grace dia faith based upon the finished works of Christ......same reason Cain who pushed works KILLED ABEL who taught FAITH by his sacrifice........ongoing non-stop animosity towards all who biblically believe in the grace of God that out bounds our sin in Christ......

They also, in deception say that we teach that we do not have to "do anything" or work after salvation......another trait of El Diablo

Because of superior English language skills he knows better than anyone.
This is classic for cemetery, er seminary educated theologians like them.

We visited a church one time and thought it was ok, until half way through the message, a guy stands up and tell the preacher to stop preaching because the context was wrong, because he was using a noun instead of a dangling participle or some foolishness like that. And I kid you not....the pastor and 3 guys started arguing over English right in the middle fo SUnday morning service.

We ran out of their double quick.

DC reminds me of that scene and we got to the car and laughed until we cried then prayed for their stupid little heads.

The world needs to hear that sin will kill one but in the same vein...lift up Jesus in the power of Holy Spirit...not with a religious club.

My husband...never saw anyone like him for evangelism. He gets strangers to make decisions for Jesus right and left. It's definitely not him. He makes me mad. lol

Keep laughing.....the context I put forth was correct and you have already proven yourself to be nothing more than a liar.....maybe you fail to grasp context as well.....which was the point NOT language....funny how many see through your farce pal..here I will remind you.....

No, I am calling you out on the bolded....go find a direct quote or be found a liar....end of story....

1. I have posted MANY times that the works done are the RESULT of faith and the salvation one possesses in Christ
2. I have posted numerous times that a believer will bear fruit or do the works prepared "Ephesians 2"
3. I have posted numerous times we are saved UNTO WORKS NOT BY WORKS
4. I have posted numerous time the works are the result of Christ in us as a living sacrifice
etc...

Your bolded is false, has never been said or implied by me or any that I have seen and the ones I have dealt with over works have consistently pushed a works and faith blend of salvation which is FALSE......

YOUR QUOTE

Well this explains a lot.

Who needs Satan when he already has brother fighting against brother?

So what is the issue?

You don't have your helmet of salvation on?

The breast plate of righteousness isn't Christ's but a fake substitute you tried to make yourself?

Paul also said "put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for flesh".

This is a mantle such as in the OT. When you look at Hebrew thought...it is to sink back into the garment, so as to take on the personality of the one who wore it.

That's how much we have Jesus...we don't put on armor...it's already there. Paul is describing it to make them (and us) understand what we have been given.

~Rom 13:14 Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, and do not obey your flesh and its desires.

All part and parcel of the mind of Christ.

This scripture is actually a poem..

~Php 2:5 Have the same attitude among yourselves that was also in the Messiah Jesus:

Php 2:6 In God's own form existed he, and shared with God equality, deemed nothing needed grasping.

Php 2:7 Instead, poured out in emptiness, a servant's form did he possess, a mortal man becoming. In human form he chose to be,

Php 2:8 and lived in all humility, death on a cross obeying.

Php 2:9 Now lifted up by God to heaven, a name above all others given, this matchless name possessing.

Php 2:10 And so, when Jesus' name is called, the knees of everyone should fall wherever they're residing.

Php 2:11 Then every tongue in one accord, will say that Jesus the Messiah is Lord, while God the Father praising.

Yes, I go one step further. The cross is forgiveness of sin that allows for salvation. At the cross He forgave all of the sin for all of the world. Now everyone is forgiven, but we certainly know that everyone is NOT saved. So how does salvation occur? 1. We believe that Jesus died for our sin on the cross(belief, which recognizes that we are filthy sinners, and that He did what He said He would do,confession and repentance) Then 2. We accept the Holy Spirit and are born again into a new creation by Him.for eternity (which starts now).

From that point on we live in Him and Him in us as a new creation, righteous in His eyes because He doesn't hold our sin against us.
Imagine if all sin wasn't forgiven. We would accept the Holy Spirit, two maybe three hours, days or weeks, who knows, we would sin and the God would HAVE to leave us again. But His word says He never leaves or forsake us. The only way He will never leave or forsake us is because of the complete forgiveness of sin.
Excellent post. I would add that God doesn't leave us because of our sins, neither does he leave us IN our sins. He chastens and teaches us how to overcome sin in our lives.

We have assurance that God will always love us. We also know that God loves us enough to help us get rid of sin in our lives, because sin hurts us and those around us.
