Ok...now where are we? In Him. The body of Christ. Daily fellowshipping..moving as He moves. Following His Voice.

Not laws.

If He says...take care of your parents? Take care of them. Perhaps they are trying to control your life? Then you "see" it and deal with it in according to the law of love which is already shed abroad in our hearts through Jesus.

Everything is given to us according to godliness...in our spirits by His Spirit. Our souls and our mind need understanding and truth.

It's not hard

Sabbath rest. Jesus is our Sabbath rest. No sweat. His yoke is easy...easy believism? you betcha. If not none would be saved by His work.

That's His work in us. Not our working to make ourselves pure and holy. He has already done it.
Just before the easy yoke verses, up above you'll find the "pick up your cross daily" verses.

We are to pick up our cross daily,
but Jesus makes it easy.

THIS is the difference between the O.C. and the N.C.
NOT that there is no Law to follow. We still must follow the Law.

Why does this require argument?? (debate).

Sanctification is Holy Spirit within.

Man that is so misunderstood. The blessing of Abraham is the Spirit.

It's not correct to say that Cain toiled as if Abel did not, as is Dcon's wording.
They BOTH toiled to obain their offering.
Yeah but Abel toiled at the expense of Cain. Abel fatten his sheep on the fruit of the ground that Cain grew.

So of course the LORD had more respect for Abel's offering, yet would it have been that fat if Abel hadn't fatten his stock up on fruit of the ground that Cain grew on his land.

God told Cain not to be angry, to continue in doing good and that he would be accepted.
Genesis 4:7
And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? Gen 4:6

So you figure Cain told him about Abel feeding his sheep on his crops, right? And what is the word of the LORD.

Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Ezek 3:19

Now notice in Genesis 4:8 "And Cain talked with Abel his brother:"

And what followed, "and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him."

Of course you can say nobody owned land back then yet in Genesis 4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. So wonder if it was Nod's daughter Cain married.

And that mark that the LORD placed upon Cain?

37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
Ps 37:37-38

I agree. I live under the N.C. NOT under the O.C.

But what Jesus tell us to do IS THE LAW.

The difference is that we are ABLE to follow it because Jesus died for us and so we love Him for it and the Law written on the heart is easy to follow.

If I love my husband, it's easy for me to do something he requests. If I do not love him, it becomes difficult.

THIS IS HE DIFFERENCE.

It's NOT CORRECT to say that we no longer have any Laws.

THIS is what I'm saying.

We still have the Laws. jesus did not abolish them.

BUT, there is a NEW WAY to follow them and to do them.
and when we can't, Jesus COVERS US from the wrath of God.

Jesus is our covering. God sees HIM and not our sinful selves...

Lol, You funny, you still ignored my pst, I guess you think your to good to read?

As. Said, without faith it is impossible to please God, is this scripure or not did God mean it or not? Does the verses you have trump that fact?

you and all people like you can tell us how much you love God, it does not prove a thing,

god also said. We LOVE be BECAUSE he FIRST loved us.

again, if you do not have FAITH that he loved you enough to save you completely, then you have not yet experienced his love, thus you can not love him back,

you can pretend, you can obey rules, but you will not please him, period

the pagan can follow the ten commands, they can never please God.

We have to get from the Cross to being risen with Him. There is the life beginning in Spirit. Supernatural life.

When the Spirit man is the tabernacle of the Lord.

I see it...it's my goal. Many are in it now.

I have always been confused concerning Cain & Abel
God told them to sacrifice, a lamb, the best one

abel sacrificed, a life god created, cain brought what he created with his own hands.

cain committed human good, all of us look and say why did God reject it, it does not make sense. That was the point, Gods ways are not our ways. You try to bring god something you did, he will reject it,

I never thought about this.
Will think it through...

Fran, I mean no disrespect, nor am I trying to elevate myself above you in any way. I believe your heart is seeking more.

You are still thinking like the natural man here in this post.

If you can think of laws as controlling. If you are good and pure...why would you need someone telling you how to be?

I assume you mean the 10 commandments given to Moses.
That which Jesus summed up in two.

The law which is now written on our hearts and not stones.

Is it possible that it's not something we follow but it's something we are now, given we are in Jesus and `Jesus in us?

Its hard to love but I think as we mature in Jesus it becomes a natural outworking in us and out of us

I'm "watering down the Law".

This is delicious.

YOU say it's not even necessary!!

if it is necessary we are all doomed, because no one can keep it according to Gods standard.

james said if you break the lease, your guilty of all, are you perfect? If no (and you have said no many times) Then you failed to live up to Gods standard, so how can it save you, maintain your salvation or cause you to keep it if you can. Not keep it as required?

are you going to answer, or sit there and mock?

Your hate for hypergrace and Calvinism is so deep your willing to possibly go to hell because of it. That is sad!

Don't worry about it.

When the bible is not clear, we're not to dwell on it.

Abel offered a sacrifice that was acceptable. Maybe because it was an animal -- like for sacrifices.

Cain also offered a sacrifice (he gave up some of his food for the year) but it was not acceptable. Maybe because it didn't have blood in it. The life is in the blood.

that's all we know. The rest is conjecture.
it s clear, without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness

abel understood the sacrifice of the innocent was required, Cain, tried to earn the t with human good

god sad yes The the sacrificial lamb, he said no to human good, just like he will on judgment day

Have I ever insulted anyone??

What is it that I'm saying anyway?

Does anyone really understand?

I think not.
